Hotel Flipper Amsterdam Reviews

I was annoyed by 11 bites by fleas. No one would feel comfortable of itching whole day long.

Hotel flipper is a hostel style hotel from and is very suitable for young adults. The service is great , the lobby has a vending machine for drinks and snacks and there is a seating area available for people who want to bring food to eat there or just chill and chat there. The room itself is rather old and beds are very soft . Very much like school dormitory style. No lift is available so if you have heavy luggage you must take that into consideration. When the male attendant is around, he will offer to help you carry luggage up or down but most of the time . Rooms come with a built in hair dryer which is slow , kettle with some tea bags , towels, shower gel and shampoo 2 in 1, cupboard and clothes hangers. There is no aircon and room lighting is a bit dark.

It was clean but need more renovation all equipment is very old, for the place it was closer too downtown supermarket and reception is very helpfully team and welcoming

The location is very good, not far from the centre. The staff are polite, and the bathroom/toilet is cleaned every day. However, the furniture should be updated and rearranged for better circulation in the room.

We picked the wrong date for the booking. The hotel did not want to awknowledgde our request for another date and noticed a no show (no refunds). Very unsupportive and rigid attitude. Would never book this hotel again. Trip.com really tried on our behalve to settle the matter.

Hotel is located in very beautiful peaceful area of the city, still accessible to the center by public transport. Personnel was really friendly, but the rooms are too small. Certainly, that is rather cheap accommodation, but there are definitely problems with cleanness of the beds and carpets. Pillows and blankets were not really fresh.

Oh where do I start got labelled as a thief when proven wrong was like a slap in the face to them funny how there attitude went from accusing me with them saying they want to call the police ect over a chocomel that I not once took then they found who took it the attitude went from 0-100 with all fake smiles and kindness along side apologies left in disbelief let’s just say that

Two sockets in the whole room and only one worked right about the bed, wafer thin walls, stains on the mattress and bathroom floor. Checked out after one day when we booked a 5 night stay . Terrible place !!!!

When the room are available before 2:00PM, the hotel should let us move in, instead of waiting straight at 2:00PM! As of international travels, plus transfer, after over twenty hours on plane, really want to get into room, take a shower immediately.

Hotel outside the centre, but well connected. (Tram stop only five minutes away). Clean and always usable bathroom. Small but cozy room as in the photo and with a sink. The only problem was the dirty and stained sheets

The Flipper hotel was an ideal location however closer would have saved a tram trip to Downtown Amsterdam. The professionalism competency of all staff was exceptional. The cleanliness was above standard and a big priority for me regarding my stay. The cost was good considering the global cost of living crisis. I would highly recommend Hotel Flipper to any friends, family in Ireland. Much gratitude
