Perfect stay at the Layaali Hostel. Despite the fact that we arrived after midnight we were warmly welcomed. The staff is really nice and helpful. There’s a free parking very close from the hotel. And the breakfast is really good. There is something for every taste.

Writing this on our last night here, and honestly, we’re so sad to be leaving this amazing place. There’s so much to love about this hotel! The rooms were super clean and well maintained, and we had an incredible view of the Roman amphitheater—such a nice bonus. The staff were fantastic—everyone from the reception team to the cleaners was friendly and always happy to help. The food was also top-notch! Whether it was breakfast or the meals you can order through reception, everything was absolutely delicious. Plus, the prices were really reasonable. One of the best parts of our stay was having a driver for all our trips, and we were lucky to get Tareq. He was honestly one of the highlights of our trip—so attentive, informative, and always making sure we had everything we needed. By far the best driver we could’ve asked for! Would 100% recommend this hotel and would love to come back in the future!

Amazing hotel. The staff is very friendly. Many thanks to Christine and Moh who helped us organize our entire trip around Jordan. They were very attentive and helpful. I really recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to come to Jordan! I hope to come back again!

I stayed at this hotel for a total of 4 nights whilst visiting Jordan. The hotel itself is clean, beds are comfortable, AC works well and the shower hot which is what I look for when booking hotels. Check in was smooth and efficient (despite arriving at 0200) with a map of the local area provided and helpful, friendly service available 24/7. All staff encountered spoke a good level of English (as unfortunately I don't speak Arabic). Included breakfast was plentiful - on speaking to reception to say I would be leaving before breakfast time on a booked excursion we were offered a breakfast box to take with us. Hotel is really conveniently situated (opposite the Roman Theatre) which makes for some good photos if you get a room on that side of the building - this also makes it very easy for navigating and getting taxis back to the hotel. The hotel has many options for tours which can be booked by the staff on your behalf. One tour which I would recommend is the free (tip based) walking tour around the local markets. Ibrahim was knowledgeable and friendly and showed me all sorts of places in both the local old and new market which I would not have found alone including the most delicious fresh arabic bread and falafel which he describes as the best in Jordan - I'm not going to argue with him. Overall I was more than satisfied with my experience here and would recommend this hotel to others visiting Amman.

It was a good hotel with nice rooms that were not big but still reasonable, nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable so I slept very well. I booked the room with a balcony and it was nice to sit there and watch life outside. There was a beautiful view of the Roman theater. It wasn't noisy there even though there was a lot of traffic and people outside, of course, but it didn't bother me because it was soundproof. Wifi didn't work so well so I used my SIM card to connect. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from and everything tasted great. The hotel also arranged various trips so I did it to the Abu Jaber Caves in East Amman, quite close to the airport. Personal helpful and nice, nothing to complain about, quite the opposite. I recommend this hotel, perfect location in the center.

Very good location, if you are a tourist. Across the street you can find one of the main landmarks of Amman, The Roman Theater. The Citadel is also at walking distance (take care, is an uphill road, combined with many steps. Also, at walking distance is a huge comercial area made up of several streets full of shops (the merchandise are exposed even on the sidewalks, several souks (food markets) where you can buy vegetables, fruits, sweets, spices, meat or simply just walk around for the show. At a few minutes away there are several small fast-food restaurants where you can try local food. The famous Rainbow street (a disappointment) is also at about 20-25 minutes away (again, uphill, with steps). The hotel is not very big, it has 4 floors (there is an elevator) and a rooftop terrace, where there are a few tables. The view from here is beautiful. The room was bigger than I expected, clean (cleaning is done and towels are changed daily, more often than necessary). The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator (useful, if you want to keep your beer cold :) ). There is also a TV, personally I didn't need it, I don't know what programs were available. There is a very small balcony with a beautiful view of the street and the Roman Theater. You can pay by card at the reception, but I don't advise you to do that, there is a huge fee when paying by card. Well, high commissions are also charged for currency exchange, so you have to choose between two bad options... The staff at the reception is very kind, they speak English well and are always ready to help you with information. A plus for Christine, with whom I personally interacted the most and who helped me with a lot of information about the city and suggestions about what I could visit. If you want day trips, you can ask for it at the reception. They have a partner agency called Localtrips (the same owner as the hotel), which organizes excursions. I have private day trips to Petra, Ajloun +Jarash and DeaSea + Ma'in Hotsprings. Everything was very well organized. The hotel also provides transfer from and to the airport. Breakfast, included in the accommodation price, is the same every day, OK, but nothing spectacular: boiled eggs, omelette, hummus, bruschetta, olives, a kind of local salami, broadbeans, salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, 3 or 4 types of bread, a few types of jam, some mini-pancakes, about 3 types of local sweets (soaked in honey or sugar syrup), two types of juice, tea and coffee. The staff, very kind. Good Wi-Fi in the room. A minus would be the street noise, for the rooms facing the street. The street is constantly extremely crowded. It is counterbalanced by the beautiful view.

The hotel is in Amman center. Old building with bare floors. and bare room it has no place to hang your clothes. It has a balcony not very clean. it has 2 hooks on the wall No coffee or tea facility shower is very small just enough for one person standing, Breakfasts very poor. staff at front office are excellent and they are equal to five-star Hotel I thank all of them. I commend them.

Layaali Amman I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who travels to Amman and is looking for a clean, beautiful hotel, with delicious breakfast and conveninently located in the city center just across the Roman Theater. The rooms were spacious and the view of the sunset behind the Roman Theater was breathtaking! The breakfast was very rich and the waffles added a nice touch to it. Make sure you ask for a room with a street view. Don’t forget to alsk check the hotel’s rooftop, the view from there is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is conveniently located at a walking distance to the main attractions in Amman. I would highly recommend it to my friends and I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights and really loved the place. It's located just across the road from the roman amphitheatre and quite close to the citadel. The staff were excellent as we arrived in the early hours and they made sure there was no issues at check in. Breakfast was included and was a lovely selection of breads, eggs, olive and lots more including sweet dishes! The rooms were very clean with tvs and air con, so I thought it was great value for money and would def recommend a stay here. Lots of shops and cafes close by for food and drink, so makes the ideal location.

The hotel is situated in the central of Amman, just opposite Roman Amphitheater, so is located in a noisy street, but very good position for walking on the main attraction. We stayed 2 nights in the hotel, on arrival and on departure so we had first night a room with a balcony facing main road and Roman Amphitheater , which was not so good cleaned and the fridge was making a very bad noise,we turned it off in the night, but was ok for us and last night a room without balcony, which was much better clean, not facing main road, much comfortable bed.The rooms were warm and spacious with private bathrooms. Dena, Ismail and the other lady at Reception were polite🤗 and helpful, and last day gave us an early check in , as we arrived from Petra at 10 am and our room was ready, it was so amazing to leave our luggage and to rest a little bit. They have all day complimentary coffee and tea at reception which is wonderful and at breakfast Chef Mama was amazing. We had good choices to eat, I’m vegetarian and I found humus, salads, olives, eggs and pancakes and delicious waffles. They have even a chocolate fountain and dates as dessert. Good job, guys! The hotel is good value for the price and what is offering! They helped us with the transfer in Petra as the Jett bus, how we had in mind to reach Petra, was in strike... People here are helpful and friendly!
