GGuest UserThe name on Trip.com is Siguniang Mountain Qingfeng Xiaozhu Homestay, but the actual name on the hotel sign is The Snow Journey Hotel or The Monk Under The Mountain.
The room we stayed in had a bathtub right by the window, and when you looked outside, you could see the mountains and the river—so beautiful! During our 4-day, 3-night stay, we experienced both snowy views and views of the melting snow, giving us a variety of atmospheres. Every corner was perfect for taking photos, and in the mornings, we could just lie in bed and enjoy the view.

In the room, there’s a bed that you can adjust to make it warm, so the bed stays cozy. The bathroom also has a heating system, which was great because it was below freezing when we went. After coming back from the cold outdoors, taking a warm shower was absolutely wonderful!
The bathtub is the highlight of the room! Soaking in warm water while enjoying the beautiful view was totally worth it.
They provide all the basic amenities you might need, and if you’re missing anything, you can pick it up at the lobby. They have a table with various items (near the ”wish tree”) that you can take for free. Or you can message them on WeChat to request anything. Upon check-in, the staff will serve you tea and snacks and ask to add you on WeChat for easier communication since they speak very little English. Communicating via WeChat was very easy and convenient, and they were very quick to respond and always offered help.
The lobby has a fireplace, cozy seating, a dining table, and sometimes in the evenings, they play music or karaoke.
The rooftop on the 5th floor has a place to sit and enjoy the view, along with a washing machine and drying racks, which is great for those staying for an extended period.

The hotel is a bit off the main road, but the service is excellent. There are three staff members: a woman, a man (probably the owner), and a housekeeper. The woman takes care of everything from check-ins to preparing breakfast (which you can request for an additional 28 RMB per person), and even dinner. During our stay, we wanted to go somewhere, and if she was free, she offered to pick us up and drop us off. The care and attention were top-notch!
---- A Lovely Experience ----
The woman who took care of us was really sweet. When we went to the Four Sisters Mountain, she helped us book a car for 15 RMB per person. On the way back, I didn’t book a ride because I wasn’t sure when we’d leave the park, and I thought I could easily grab a Didi taxi. But I was wrong! I couldn’t find a Didi near the park, and to make matters worse, my phone died (from taking too many pictures). I ended up walking around trying to find a taxi, showing the hotel card and gesturing to the drivers that I needed to go back to the hotel. I finally found a taxi that agreed to take me back for the same price (15 RMB per person). The taxi dropped us off close to the hotel but got stuck behind a snowplow, so we had to walk the rest of the way. On the way, we spotted the hotel car and the woman who had been worried and looking for us. She was about to drive to the park to pick us up because she hadn’t heard from us, and we hadn’t replied to her messages. It was such a touching moment when she found us! 🥹

If you’re looking for a place with amazing views, great prices, spacious and clean rooms, and service that feels like family, I highly recommend this hotel. Even though the location is a bit off the main road (and there aren’t many shops nearby), it’s definitely worth it. I’m planning to return for sure!

NNS MkmmI have searched for a hotel in SiGuNiangShan over a year. i have pinned this hotel as the first in my list to visit. I checked-in with excitement but checked-out with a lot of disappointment.
First of all, I admire their room cleanliness and comfy bedding. The heating floor is great. Their breakfast is a combination for both chinese and western, which is kinda nice. Dinner is fine. There are not a lot of option for meal around the area. i did not try the western dishes but the hotpot is general. I think it is a little expensive with 300RMB for chicken soup with 3 types of veggie. Everything is (mostly) accordingly to the advertisement.
Except that I think the built-in bath tub (the square one not the white one) seems not as clean that I am not feeling of getting myself in. Perhaps, the strain plus the color make me feel this way.
There are 2-3 construction sides in the area that block the view. These are not pleasurable, though there are not noise or working staff around. There are no public area or walking path that allow visitors to spend their time out of the room. Well, it is not worth to spend time in the public area anyway as their staff rarely smile or greeting the visitors nicely. The driver who picked me up of the parking lots never smiled to me directly during the time of visit.
** my disappointment came greatest when I went into Chanpinggou and my partner left his phone on the bench. We ran back to find the phone but we did not find it. so, I contact the hotel staff by wechat and asked them to contact the officer in the National park as I cannot make the call, the signal is very bad. I made it clear to them the exact location of mine and that I could not find any staff around. Rather than understanding and contacting the national park. They send me the phone number and asked me to call the national park myself. Considering that I am an oversea visitor as well as that I have made it clear that the signal is bad within the park, I prefer more help and empathy.
***my disappointment is even further when I am checking out. The hotel staff asked me to write them a good review. I told them that I will write the review on my own. They still persisted to write a review for me and asked me to finish the review before departure. I am also working in the hotel and I think this is the WORST part of all. You should respect the customer sincere review and appreciate that as a way to improve.
I have been to many hotels that are located within or very close the famous attraction around China - Shangrila, Huangshan and many more. I have paid extra for this hotel compared to other sides. I never found these kind of disappoints before in those hotels, so my expectations are high.

Upon arrival the staff members quickly grabbed our luggage’s and got our passport ready for check in.
Once I got the keycard and a little explanation of how everything works. The luggage’s were already delivered to the 3rd floor.
The high altitude sickness definitely set in once I arrived. The staff will explain to you what to do and what not to do during your duration.
Their first floor is a cafe/restaurant the food was not bad, tried out their yak meat hotpot and noodles.
All staff members are very friendly and will smile. They also assisted in calling a taxi for us to go to shuangqiaogou. Didi did not work at all for any cabs in the vicinity.
Nextdoor is a mini store that sells oxygen cans, I suggest you buy there as that was the only store within walking distance that I saw. Everywhere else around is either hotel and/or restaurants.
Temperature drops rapidly in the area, definitely pack a light jacket or a heavy one depending on your preference.
The floor heating works at 4:30pm and afterwards, you have to turn it on. The flooring gets warm really quick. Bathroom was great, it had a Dyson (with the cpi logo) hairdryer as well as a heating fan that works almost instantly. Slippers are provided and recommended inside because the wet floor tiles will get you if you become too overconfident.
Everyday early morning the smell of cooked food rises up and it smelled great. Some may or may not like it. It’s not too strong of a smell in the room but in the hallway it is.
One thing that was not mentioned and I found out the hard way as I got bored and wanted to head out at midnight to smoke. The main doors are locked from approximately 10:30pm to 7:00am. You cannot enter or leave unless prior arrangements were made (late arrivals or check outs).

GGuest UserThe room is very comfortable. Since there is no holiday during the Dragon Boat Festival, I took the opportunity to come here on my day off to relax, so I booked a large suite. The view from the window was really beautiful. In the afternoon, the sun shone through. It was so beautiful that I took two pictures with my camera. When I opened my eyes in the morning and drew back the curtains, I saw a towering mountain right before my eyes. I looked at it quietly for a long time. The service provided by the brothers and sisters is also very warm and thoughtful, and must be praised~

YY FamilyPretty grand and decent resort located about 15 min car ride from the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve Park, which is about 1.5 hour car ride from Huanglong Jiuzhaigou high speed rail station. Great resort introduction and check in/out services by concierge staff Molly and Eve. Great food and services at the restaurants within the resort. We also attended the ******* bonfire in the evening as part of the hotel activities. It was a great and memorable experience.

KKalawin VorakulsantiBig room but no portable heater. It was very cold in the bath room. The reception guy is so frirnd and helpful. He speak fair english and i love the husky dog which always stay next to him. The view from.the room is nice. Breakfast is limited but good taste.

AAlexThe breakfast was good. The room was spacious and good overall. We stayed for 2 nights, the only regret was that they didn't make up the room between the two nights, but maybe we should have asked for it.
A great selling point is the free shuttle to bring you to Jiuzhaigou Park Visitors Center. We also appreciated being able to have dinner there, the food was surprisingly good value for money. We also enjoyed the laundry machine + dryer amenities.

DDaughterofEveThis a snugly, delightful and welcoming home-style hotel. Perfect for winter months, as the room is pleasantly comfortable has floor heating, has a fantastic shower where the water is hot, the beds and bedding are snug, parking is available and the general facilities are great. The rooms are cozy and hygienic, not a spot/ hair found on the white bedding, and bath towels were fresh and clean, with all noted products placed in the room.
There was a bath and shower in the room I booked, with a cute little outside area in front of the door. The receptionists are friendly and extremely helpful. They go the extra mile by doing their best to assist with questions and giving assistance as needed. Translation services are used. I arrived at the hotel after 11pm and someone was there to receive me and help me order food. I was helped with advice about traveling, restaurants, bookings and even escorted to a yummy restaurant close by. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the smart toilet, that flushes as soon as you sit down, and doesn't flush down everything. Breakfast is available at this hotel as well as drop off services, if the vehicle is available. There are also many shops and restaurants around, making it a convenient place to stay.
There's a free treat to have photos taken in ******* style clothing, though I strongly recommend paying the cost effective fee (150 yuan) if you want better quality clothing to model in (greater variety to choose from), and have a lovely pictures taken. The hotel has stunning backdrops for these. Make up services (with some jewelry) is also available for the photo shoot. It's easily accessible as it’s very close to the hotel. ( 1.5 minute walk), and there’s a WeChat contact number to add, or the friendly hotel receptionists will arrange it for you quickly. I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Oh! And the cute little tea set in the room (with bags of tea) was a lovely comfort after a long day of traveling. Fantastic hotel! Thanks ladies.

GGuest UserIt is half an hour away from Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, passing through a group of five-star hotels, and 3.5 kilometers up the mountain road. It is next to the ski resort. The surrounding environment is good. Living in the forest, the environment is nothing to say, and it is even more beautiful when it snows.
It is very cold in winter, and it is cold even with the air conditioning and floor heating turned on, but the quilt in the room is really warm. I don’t know what material it is made of, but it is super warm when covered! The disadvantage is that the room is very small, and the hardware facilities are not well maintained. Maybe it is a few houses. The shower head in the room I stayed in was broken. Because I checked in late, I didn’t call for maintenance, so I made do with it; the sockets on the desk were all broken; some of the light buttons on the bedside were broken, etc. The hotel did not find and repair them in time, which greatly affected the experience.
