Hotels With Airport pickup service in Grande Lisboa, Portugal

It's our last day here. Hence, I am writing the review now( I usually wait until the end). We only came to Lisbon for a city break, to visit this beautiful city . Hotel staff is friendly, our room was spotless, I really can't fault them. We've a balcony as well, but since we've been visiting a lot, we haven't spent too much time here. Yes, there is this sad, abandoned building across, but who cares really? If I wanted a sea view, I would've booked a hotel by the sea. The room was warm during the night, and the housekeeping came every day to tidy it. We were 100% pleased with this stay. There was no noise during the night to be fair. Or we were so tired and slept like babies?!

Lovely and close to the airport, a late check-in, staff were delightful, she even came to my room to help me with the wndow, the handle was broken so it would not close properly. Toilet, seat was loose... Nice room, but a bit of road noise with open window. Breakfast was great and at €9.50 very reasonable, good selection and even a fresh orange squeezing machine. If you have an early morning flight, seriously consider this place. No stress about 10am checkout 👍

An overall great experience in this hotel. The room I got was cute and has a small kitchen, it has the appliances you need to cook a meal, and plates, utensils as well, there is even a oven that you can heat up all the pastries you brought back to your room, the pastel de nata in the cafe down stairs at the hotel’s lobby were good. But what save my trip was the washer/dryer in the room, been travel for almost 2 weeks without doing laundry until I checked in to this hotel. If I’ve ever returned to Lisbon, will definitely stay in the hotel again.

It’s been a long time since I was last in a youth hostel, and as a now 45 year old man there is probably a reason for this. Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

The pros: -very close to metro station. - it was clean - I liked the friendliness of the staff - 24/7 reception - kettle, coffee maker in the room - the bed was comfortable and although the room was small i had everything needed The cons: -extremely thin walls, you could hear your neighbours conversations and peeing. -the room had a small window that I couldn't open and the view was on the corridor so you have to keep in blocked by curtains to avoid people looking at you. Which means, no natural light all stay - before my visit, I asked if the hotel if they can provide gluten free bread for breakfast, as I'm gluten intolerant, and they replied no. - the decor is cheap looking, this hotel pretend to be more fancy than it is in reality - shower doors didn't close properly, so every shower left me with flooding

My overall experience was good but the only downside for me is the location. It needs a long walk, around 20-30 mins, to get to the main city area. I had to get a taxi or Bolt to return hotel every night. The room was clean with a large king size bed. The room size is reasonable. We were on the first floor facing the street, it was quite at night. Slippers were provided on request. The staffs were very polite and friendly. There were no problem in communication in English. They also suggested a lots restaurants and attractions for us to consider. The lobby is spacious with a TV and also lots of seating area. There was a small gym room in the basement. We had a comfortable and great stay with Lumen Hotel.

We stayed at this hotel from 26th - 29th Sept 2023. We arrived at 14.20 which was 40 minutes early it we was allowed to check in early. The room was a double room with a small balcony overlooking main street. It had 2 single beds a bathroom with small corner shower. The main living room with beds had a TV with HDMI and a space to hang clothes with about 8 hangers. There was a safe in the room which was free as was the WiFi which had amazing speeds of 335 Meg download and 128 upload ( wow ). Breakfast was average I would say. Scrambled eggs, hot dog sausages and tomatoes. There was fruit, Yoghurt and pastries and orange juice, tropical juice and apple juice. The coffee was delicious. The staff at the hotel overall was nice albeit we had one strange encounter where a member of staff knocked on our door and asked if he could check the safe. My wife said she had just got out of the shower and asked if he could call back in 10 minutes but was told no he needed access now. My wife opened the door wrapped in a towel and a male member of staff popped his head round the door and gave a quick glance at the safe and left without actually coming in. We both found this strange. Location was not to bad it took us about 20 minutes to walk into Rossio Square along the busy main road. The travel time to and from the airport by Uber was about 20 - 25 minutes due to heavy traffic. Overall we would stay here again Value for money was good for what we wanted

Very close to the airport. Perfect choice if you have early or latw flight out. Hotel room is little bit small, but staffs are very friendly and clean. Will def come back if I viskt portugal again!

This hotel was in the middle, the absolute middle, of Carnival. What fun! Raquel helped us from checking in, recommendations of where to go and eat, where to get a cheap Carnival costume, and what to expect with the mass of people at the front door. Oh, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the room excellent.

I really enjoyed our staying in lisbon apartment.The best thing:There is no reception,you have entrance code to come inside building and room.The room is super super clean.The cleaning service and virtual reception was really good and fast.For us everything was enough beacause we spent all our time to visit lisbon and around.Hotel is near the airport and 15 min driving to the centro.We had our car,there is parking space around but you have to pay.At keast I will choose this brand again to visit lisbon.

First, very close to airport, which makes it cheap to taxi or Uber. Hotel is in the business district so it’s fairly quiet at night, except for hearing the train, which I kind of like. Rooms are old fashioned, and on the smaller side. Staff was very friendly. Lobby is nice and bright. We liked having a nice bar and restaurant on premises. Breakfast is nice, but it’s a mad house in the mornings. This hotel has four small elevators, which rude guests try to force themselves onto with luggage when they’re already full. During our stay, one of the main, bigger elevators remained broken. Since we were on the 9th floor, we had to wait longer to go up or down. I highly recommend you request a room no higher than the 2nd floor if you don’t want to wait. Wi-Fi here is terrible. Our phones would not stay connected and trying to do anything online was beyond frustrating. We very much liked the location. Close to the metro, close to a grocery store, lots of coffee shops in close proximity. Very easy to get to downtown Lisbon. If we were to Lisbon, we would definitely consider staying here again, however I would search for a good deal on a more up to date hotel closer to city center if you don’t want to take multiple train stops.

The hostel's name says it all - this hostel is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon within walking distance of most of the major monuments the city has to offer. My girlfriend and I allocated 2 days to Lisbon and 1 to Sintra and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the 8-bed dorms. The rooms and amenities of this hostel exceeded our expectations as our 1st foray into hostel traveling. The staff were extremely kind as well and were helpful in helping us plan an early morning (4 am) transport to the airport. There were a few small details we wish we could change. For one, we had a bit of bad luck in that one of our roommates was sick and spent most of the night coughing relentlessly keeping most members of our room awake. Additionally, despite meeting many friendly faces, the hostel did not feel as openly social as other hostels we stayed our throughout our two week Europe trip

This is a good hotel with a couple problems, however it does need to be contextualised by the fact that “easyHotel” is a chain of budget hotels, the franchise is from the same group that runs the British budget airline easyJet, so you wouldn’t come here expecting luxury. I stayed in one once with no windows and no way to turn the light off! Hotel was very close to the metro station, TV worked well with a lot of English language channels, decent amount of room and the shower was very food. The significant downsides were the pillows were very uncomfortable and gave me a sore neck, so if that is a problem for you bring your own pillow or something. The “soundproofing” advertised is also non existent, the hotel is near some small cafe bars and all sorts of things happen at night and I struggled to get to sleep on a couple of occasions with groups of people screaming outside until 2am.

We specifically stayed here to be close to the airport for a morning flight and for a shuttle service to the airport. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast offered so much food and a large variety. But we were most thankful for the amazing shuttle service and kind driver. Yes, we paid a small fee (much less than a taxi), but we were picked up in a luxury van that was SPOTLESS and super comfortable. The driver was just the nicest guy (Raul) who we chatted with on the short drive to the airport easily! We were so thankful for the lovely service he provided! Thanks Holiday Inn Express and Raul for a positive experience to end our trip!

A good hotel to spend the night before a flight, there is parking. Clean, but rooms need renovation. For a longer stay, I would consider something more comfortable.

1 star to bring attention to the fact that the shuttle driver was 15 min late (earliest and first pick up of the morning, this is NOT a airport hotel despite its name) just enough to cause my mother to miss her flight from Lisbon to Zurich. I scheduled the shuttle pick up the previous afternoon after receiving assurance from the front desk that a 4 am pick for a 5:55 departure from Lisbon to Zurich would be adequate time to catch the flight (the airport is 2.4km away or 4 min drive ). Advertised to provide an “exceptional experience”, I relied on the recommendations of the front desk to schedule the shuttle pick up time, and I trusted the shuttle driver to arrive on time. When he didn’t, I became highly agitated as was the other guest waiting for the shuttle. I selected this hotel solely for its proximity to the airport and for their shuttle service, specifically to avoid disasters like a missed flight. They did not meet expectations and it cost us significantly. While the facilities were new, modern and functioning properly, and I would have rated the hotel five stars, minus 4 because the price to reissue a new boarding ticket was over 4x the price it cost for a night’s accommodation at the Ibis. I write this to inform other travelers and notify management for improvement.

didn't like: 1) bathroom sharing was not clearly stated in the listing , nor the reservation. 2) the gents bathroom was too small 3) the ceiling above washbasin in gents bathroom was too low. 4) room door did not close and thus had to be locked every time
