I was here in low season, so the rates were extremely reasonable for what was offered. Plumeria bills itself as an affordable resort experience and, on the whole, they do not disappoint. From the first greeting to check-out, the staff is exceptionally good and the entire experience is well organized with a group WhatsApp chat keeping everyone informed of daily activities – many of which are complimentary such as an afternoon tea or a snorkel to a nearby reef. The rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds, toiletries and free drinking water. The next time, I’d request a sea view because the standard room I had was directly across a new addition – with about 10 feet between the balconies of each room. The new building is under construction which meant that any time the curtains were open, construction workers could look directly into one’s room. The Plumeria has large grounds, though the beach area directly in front of the hotel is small. However, it’s only about a 5 minute walk down the beach to the bikini area that is designated for the hotel. The reefs on that side of the island are spectacular – very broad and shallow with lots of sea life and interesting corals. The best part, as others have mentioned, is the food. Compared to the other hotel I stayed at in the Maldives- this was on another level. The choices and quality were better than on many higher end resorts, with at least 5 different delicious salads on offer, a variety of breads and desserts, pre-cooked buffet items and freshly cooked stir-fries, pastas, among other things. I was really impressed with what the kitchen was turning out every day and the service was wonderful as well. The paid excursions were very good, but it should be noted that most require 6 participants, so if your heart is set on seeing whale sharks, for example, don’t count on it happening unless you get 5 other people signed up. Unless you’re there for a longer time, you may never get the required number of people. The only other criticisms I’d have, is that during my stay, there were no working TV channels, and the Wifi signal was very weak – at least in the room. Other than that, this is a wonderful hotel and I’d definitely recommend it for an affordable but excellent Maldives vacation.

My wife, baby daughter and I have spent over two weeks at the exceptional NOOE Maldives Kunaavashi Resort I will break this review down in to five sections: 1. The location: this is a truly special place. Some of our fellow guests are regular travellers to the Maldives and all agreed even by the standards of the Maldives this was an exceptionally beautiful atol. The beaches are powder white sand with beautiful turquoise shallows merging with the deep navy surrounding ocean and channels. The water is bath water warm, and crystal clear. There are reefs within a short swim of the beach with a vivid array of coloured corals, and fish. We were fortunate enough to see and swim with dolphins, sharks, rays and a turtle. It's a short flight 20-30min or boat ride 1h 20min from Male airport. 2. Accommodation: there is a choice of accommodation from 1 bedroom beach bungalows to extensive duplex water villas suitable for several guests. We stayed in a beautiful duplex over water villa with it's own small pool, outdoor shower and deck stepped access straight to the reef. There was a small ground floor toilet, a large en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and two sinks. The upstairs bedroom, lounge and deck areas had unobstructed views of the reef and ocean and we regularly watched breathtaking sunsets and on one night a dramatic tropical thunderstorm. The bedroom was large, had plenty of room for it's king size bed, sofa, baby cot and dresser, there was a wide Juliet balcony spanning the room with astonishingly beautiful ocean views. Downstairs was a lounge, kitchenette, dining area, toilet and a deck area with sun loungers, parasol, shower, and pool. All the resort accommodation looked beautiful, the beach bungalows looked very romantic, with direct access to the beach and stunning sunset views. The larger villas could accommodate multiple families. 3. Facilities. There is a PADI aqua club on site with various diving, snorkelling, sailing options along with jet ski and motorboat hire. There is a kids club staffed by dedicated nursery staff with a playground and art studio. There is a gym with dumbbells/bench, machine weights, treadmills and exercise bikes. There us a health spa offering massages and beauty treatments, Elemis products and professional staff: v.tranquil. There is a bar/poolside deck area with loungers and canopied beds with table service. Two pools one shallow for younger children and a larger pool. There is various entertainment available such as evening DJs, singers and games. There are two sets of toilets, immaculately maintained. 4. Food. The food is another highlight. There are three restaurants: a buffet, and two a la carte restaurants (Steak, and Japanese). We stayed all inclusive with all meals and drinks included. The variety of food was huge. The buffet restaurant wasn't a typical buffet, as the prepared dishes were enhanced by food made to order by skilled chefs. There was a huge range of cuisine and

Excellent hotel. Clean rooms. Every day room service. Friendly staff. Delicious meals in the restaurant which was included in our booking. This hotel has a good location, a few steps away from the beach. On this beach a lot of fish and other underwear wildlife. Excellent snorkeling. Fridge and air conditioner in the room. We spend our holiday joyful. Thanks for the staff. They were very helpful. Hats to them.

If you want an island getaway from busy cities, just come here. Everything is so serene and calming. Beautiful white beaches, blue sea and the hotel is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. The food here is good and I really like their outdoor dining area on the beach with nice shades. Overall a very good stay.

We where given the opportunity to stay while on a sister island, best choice we ever made! The minute we landed by seaplane we where greeted with the warmest of welcomes. Throughout our 4 day stay the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. From the ladies who sweep the sandy paths all the way up to the general manager, the staff where fantastic. We where lucky to have a pool water suit, absolutely wonderful, specious, large jacuzzi pool and great access to the reef. Restaurant was clean and a good selection of fresh foods and drinks. Majority of the island parameters are white coral sandy beach and turquoise sea. We tried the jetski and guided snorkeling, both where enjoyable and again great guidance from staff at the dive center. We also had a couples massage, wow! Them girls have magic hands. We took away so many memories and made new freinds. To everyone who works at cinnamon Velifushi thank you and we will be back to see you in the future.

Wonderful hotel right on beach a fantastic alternative to the expensive resort. If you can cope without alcohol then this is a fantastic place to stay on this paradise island. The stingrays and nurse sharks come right up by the sea shore very safe . Beautiful beaches most bikini beaches if not all .small little restaurants dotted around serving good food at reasonable prices. The kirnan retreat did a good breakfast and when weather allows tables on the beach for your evening meal . Can't praise this hotel and island enough

Our time at Thundi Resort was wonderful, thanks to Shifaz and his team who were all very helpful and friendly. The food was great, Chef Mohit catered to our needs well and he's a fabulous cook. I would definitely recommend Thundi for a peaceful, relaxing, and worthwhile stay at Fulidhoo. Thank you.
