As we checked in the room (room number: 2016), we found the room type was different than the one shown on the website. It was clear that two beds were movable. For most of the people I guess, the beds are not confortable cause they are not fixed. Moreover, the beds were located next to the window. I could here the traffic outside all night. What made it worse was that we were not asked that our room had been changed or somehow .......no ! Nothing at all.

Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again. Maybe it is worth to spend a night or two here. Details below:
During my 6D5N trip, I have stayed in different hotels. This hotel had the most expensive parking by far. It was ¥2000 / night. Also the parking was a bit inconvenient since the parking area uses an elevator-system and you need a staff to operate the parking system machine to get your car each time you need to use your car.
There were a lot of families with young children during my stay, not the best place if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax. There were also only 2 elevators so sometimes it takes a long time to wait for the elevators due to the crowd.
The hotel provides a lot of amenities, including some daily activities from 17:00-18:00, noodles from 20:30-21:30, and free flow drinks from 10:00-22:00 (no free laundry tho). I got to try the traditional outfit dress up session, it was a good experience to quickly try on the Okinawan-style kimono.
Just a personal preference, I did find their soaps and skin care products heavily scented, which I wasn’t a fan of.

Location: On the outskirts of Naha city - 15 mins by car from both the airport (traffic permitting) and city centre. Also within the red light district so not recommended to venture out on foot at night (see picture)
Parking: Hotel has limited parking within premises for 1,500yen per day (but unlimited driving in and out of car park), and needs to reserve at the hotel at 11am each day (so if you arrive at night you'll at least have to sort out the first night yourself). There are small car parks dotted around the area but firstly, the car parks are small so no guarantee of spaces and secondly, the car parks are located amongst various love hotels. The best we found (in terms of location and safety) is one at Costa Village ESPANA which is 5 minutes on foot from the hotel (500yen overnight and 700yen day park) (see picture)
Room: Very small (i.e. standard Japanese semi-doubles), but the bathroom is spacious with onsen facilities
Breakfast: A very good spread including local dishes, 1,900yen per person (kids eat for free) (see pictures)
Facilities: Swimming pools on 2/F (free) and rooftop with bar (paid, so havent tried). Onsen on 2/F also opens till late, with both indoor and outdoor onsen, and quite packed
Hotel is clean, convenient , has good service . With a great view watching planes taking off and landing . Even the hotel breakfast is excellent . Staff asked if we had any allergy towards seafood . They changed out of the seafood and replaced chicken for me. Thus they really act out of good consideration . Will defined come back to this hotel if we come back here
Very clean and well maintained room and public bath. Not a lot if visitors during our visit so we had the public baths to ourselves. The included dinner and breakfast sets were decent but staff were too eager to sell add-ons items. View from room and restaurant was very good, with panoramic view of the beach n sea. Yukata rental was available at the hotel but not during certain time of day

The room was quite spacious, easily one of the biggest I've stayed in at a Japanese hotel, and the free onsen made for a very comfortable stay. There's a beach nearby with a designated swimming area. While transportation is fairly convenient, it does require a bit of a walk to reach public transport stops. Picking up drinks at the convenience store and enjoying them with friends as we explored the surroundings was a real highlight.
Excellent location. With three free parking lots, there's no need to worry about parking, even for late returns. McDonald's, Can Do, and Daiso are all within walking distance. Mega Donki is just a 5-minute drive away, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. It's perfectly situated for exploring any northern attraction during a two-day trip.
A dedicated bus service from Naha Airport takes you directly to the Onna Village Resort area, arriving at Hotel Monterey in just over an hour.
The hotel's front desk staff speak English, so check-in was very smooth. Our room's balcony offered direct ocean views – a fantastic location indeed! The beach directly below is Tiger Beach.
The hotel offers numerous activities, which require advance booking. It's clearly a popular resort for Japanese families vacationing with their children.
There are two breakfast restaurants. The buffet requires advance reservation and queuing; it opens at 6:30 AM, but people start reserving and picking window seats as early as 6:00 AM. Across from the buffet is the Japanese restaurant, which was much quieter, offering just one set menu (shown in the last picture).
Just outside the hotel, there are many restaurants, including the famous 'Ryukyu no Ushi' (a popular BBQ spot) which requires reservations. Other eateries are also good; we enjoyed sushi and yakiniku. There's both a Family Mart and a 7-Eleven nearby, which is very convenient.
Moon Beach, with its own resort, is also not far away.
Overall, the hotel service was good. It's a typical resort where you could easily spend several relaxing days.
The most amazing breakfast buffet ever along with fantastic sea views make this a must stay for any visitor to the Motobu area.
Most of the buses including the airport shuttle stop directly at the hotel making it an excellent hotel choice for convenience. For those taking the airport shuttle for min. two paxs heading from the hotel back to Naha city, book the transport from the hotel’s tour desk for a 1,000 yen discount off the normal price for two tickets.
They have an excellent restaurant serving local Okinawan cuisine at an affordable price. This is the property that all international and local visitors will enjoy.
This is our first time to stay at a Japanese style hotel room with private onsen, which is a very special experience.
The hotel is situated at the top of a hill in a very quiet surroundings. We were warmly greeted by reception staff, who also gives us recommendations for dinner in the neighborhood.
As our bed is tatami style, we find it difficult to get up, but the onsen is so good. The breakfast buffet offers western and Japanese style food which are good and delicious.
As our stay is short, we didn't go to the famous Apeman public spa in this hotel, we hope we can return some day to try it.

Amazing
DDaniel YI had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Koroda, who assisted us with check-in—best service ever!
The room was beautiful, offering a stunning view of the sea, which made our stay even more relaxing. The onsen was clean and comfortable, providing a truly refreshing experience. And don’t miss the breakfast—it’s delicious and definitely worth the money paid.
Highly recommended, and I would love to stay here again!
Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

DDebbyyipThe level of service was exceptional - the concierge was extremely helpful, and the housekeeping staff kept my room pristine. The on-site dining options were excellent, with a high-quality restaurant serving delicious, locally-sourced cuisine. I also made good use of the well-equipped fitness center and reliable, fast WiFi. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would not hesitate to book with your hotel again in the future. The combination of outstanding service and top-notch facilities made for a wonderfully comfortable and productive visit.
