The onsen was spotless and relaxing, and the hotel’s location was incredibly convenient. Highly recommended for a comfortable and memorable stay!
Arima Hot Spring Ryokan Hanamusubi

Arima Onsen Hotspring
The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, but it is not far to walk to the main hot spring street, and the hotel's bus can also be used for pick-up. Breakfast and dinner are available at different times, and you can choose the dining time according to your own living habits, which is very considerate. The private hot spring pool in the room is large enough, and the massage chair on the balcony is very comfortable. The dinner is great. We stayed for two nights. The hotel arranged Kaiseki cuisine on the first night. On the second night, the hotel provided a choice of Wagyu Sukiyaki/Wagyu Shabu-shabu/Fish Shabu-shabu. If you still choose Kaiseki cuisine, the hotel will arrange different dishes from the first day, which is very attentive. The ingredients are very good, fresh and delicious, and the portions are large. I ate until I walked out of the wall on both days. In short, it was a very satisfying leisure experience.

Upon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.
Tsuchiya Kinosaki Onsen

Our favourite booking throughout our entire Japan trip! This inn is a family business so you can imagine how hospitable the entire family was to us this 2D1N. Regretted not staying 1 more day as the entire village was very relaxing. Room is super clean, yukata was provided for us to visit the public baths, access to all 7 public baths provided as well. We have everything we need with this inn! There’s also a private onsen in the hotel and the host was very helpful and nice about everything. He even went out of his way to send us to & fro the Kinosakionsen station… thank you so much we had fun and enjoyed it! Will definitely stay here again. <3
Arima Onsen Gekkoen Korokan

Arima Onsen Hotspring
The hotel is old style, but the overall condition is maintained in good condition. The room is large and can accommodate 6 people. There is also a massage chair. There are two indoor hot springs, one can accommodate 7-10 people, and the other 4-5 people feel crowded. You can also try the open-air bath. The hotel has three private baths, which cost ¥2,200 for 40 minutes. I didn’t have the chance to try them this time. Because I only booked a room, I didn’t have the opportunity to taste the hotel’s food.

Arima Onsen Hotspring
We had an amazing stay at Arimasansoh Goshobessho! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel & rooms itself are incredibly comfy and cozy, with a warm, intimate atmosphere and a delightful wood scent that adds to its charm. The amenities were excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxing experience. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations (very good French toast, and onion soup) such a great way to start the day! A special thank-you to the hotel staff for their kindness and efficiency in returning the Apple Watch we accidentally left behind—it was much appreciated! Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Love this quaint little ryokan at Kinosaki! The service is friendly although not much English is spoken there. Expect the staff to introduce you the amenities of the ryokan such as the free first-come -first-serve private onsen (there are a total of 4, but recommend the one named Hana because it's the newest and the nicest). The room itself is tiny but comfortable. There is no shower in the room, so would have to take the shower at the onsen or at the ryokan's own onsen. The room package came with kaiseki (we had the snow crab one) and it was delicious with pretty looking food. The blanket was thick and comfortable, perfect for the cold weather. There was not much view from our room.

There is no breakfast nor dinner provided by this onsen hotel, and restaurants close a bit early. If you’re looking for an onsen meal, you maybe disappointed if you staying here. Beware if you’re a foodie. The sound insulation is poor, please keep your voice down. Since the first night I arrived was windy and rainy, and the curtain for blocking the sun is made of bamboo, it kept hitting on the window all night long. There is no elevators and the stairs is very steep, be careful if you bringing many luggages. Although the servers do not understand English, they are very friendly and willing to help! Overall, I enjoyed a lot while the staying. Thank you!
Dormy Inn Himeji Natural Hot Spring

The hotel has an excellent location, right next to Himeji Station. The hotel room is also very hygienic and the hand sanitizer is very fragrant and worth recommending🫶🏻 I soaked in a hot spring in the evening and the free ice cream was also delicious.
