The room was quite small, and the view from the window was a messy cityscape. You couldn't even see Matsuyama Castle from the room. Both the bedding and breakfast were of mediocre quality, which meant it wasn't great value for money.
However, the location was excellent. From Matsuyama Station, you can take tram line 3 or 5 to Okaido, and the hotel is just a two-minute walk from the tram stop. The hotel is surrounded by various dining options and is very close to department stores.
The geographical environment is very good. The location is very convenient. There is a delicious barbecue restaurant.
And the hotel has free parking service, parked at the front entrance of the hotel
You can pick up your car at any time, which is very convenient for self-driving travel
Hotel facilities are very clean
The room was also very clean
It was awesome! The hotel has nearby parking with 1000 yen per night, and you can park till next noon. It has sauna and hot spring to relax. Room is clean and cozy.
It was not the latest facilities, but it was clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and it was good not crowded.
Especially the room was large for the price, the breakfast and dinner were very good, the large bath was satisfactory, and the open-air bath was good.
However, I have to pay a bath tax of 150 yen per person (600 yen for two days for two people) a day. When I made an appointment, there was no such content at all, so it was not a big amount, but I felt a little uncomfortable.
This hotel is definitely worth recommending. 1. The hotel service is very good and very thoughtful. 2. The hotel is in a great location, and there is an elevator in the hotel that goes directly to Dogo Onsen. 3. Be sure to stay in the balcony room on the 7th floor, the view is great. 4. The hotel facilities are very good, beyond five stars. The hair dryer is of high quality and very easy to use. 5. The breakfast is very exquisite and delicious. 6. I definitely recommend going to the hot spring on the 8th floor of the hotel. The hotel's hot spring is far better than the ones outside, and there is no need to go to Dogo Onsen Honkan. 7. The piano concert in the evening is good.
Nice location. It's just like an ordinary Japanese hot spring hotel, the highlight is the hot spring pool on the top floor, where you can look up at the stars at night. The dinner was average (felt like a group meal). As other reviews suggested, if you don't have a meal package, you can go to the hot spring street to eat and you might have a better experience.
Get off at Dogo Onsen Station and walk to the iconic Dogo Onsen Honkan. The hotel is just north of it.
There is a butler at the door who will greet you warmly when you come back. The hotel has its own orange juice tap (pay attention to the time) and a massage chair in the room. If you go out to take a bath in the three famous hot springs, a basket with towels and a yukata are provided free of charge.
The private hot spring is on the first floor underground, with one indoor and one outdoor pool. The quality of the hot spring is very good, and it feels unnecessary to queue at the door of the main building.
A hot spring tax of 150 yen per person per day is collected when checking out.
It is expensive, but it’s worth every single dollar. The hotel located right in the centre of Dogo Onsen. The room is spacious and the view of the city is excellent. The included dinner and breakfast at top notch with excellent service. The service is impeccable!
In conclusion, I thought that if I paid the same amount, it would be suitable for a normal hotel, not a hotel of this type. I don't think there will be a revisit.
【House】
It was nice to have a cleaner feeling than I had imagined. However, it is a pity that the window itself was not completely closed and insects were all-you-can-eat because of the old folk house.
【Equipment】
The water was modern and nice, but the location of the shower in the bath was subtle.
The temperature adjustment part was too low and the chair was too low.
Staff
There were variations depending on the person, which was very disappointing. For example, at the breakfast venue, there are days when they will explain and days when they will not, and the level of service varies depending on the staff.
Also, the breakfast venue was rushed from beginning to end, so I couldn't calm down and eat.
very accommodating service for my family. Beautiful and well maintained place with great customer care. My mother was very satisfied and was happy.

Very Good
명명섭The traffic is very good in the center of Okaido, and the hotel's amenities are very clean, of course, so it's too clean. The hot springs on the 10th floor are good and the restaurant is on the 10th floor, so you can see Matsuyama Castle. The view is good for eating. There is also Don Quixote in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Check-in hotel and Sambangcho Hotel are used together and are hotel chains.
GGuest UserWe wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are clean and the service is excellent. I went to the large bath on the first floor around 9:30 am and used it alone. Open-air bath is good. The hotel has shampoo, conditioner, body cleaner, skin and lotion. Next time I come to Matsuyama, I want to stay again. I have a good rest. The hotel key is not a card key, but a key ㅋ
KKatpurrrrvery accommodating service for my family. Beautiful and well maintained place with great customer care. My mother was very satisfied and was happy.
