It is the best choice of hotel in Aomori!
The lounge (6/F) experience is definitely a bonus to your stay. A specific type of smoothies is provided every morning from 6 to 10am. You can also get fresh slices of Aomori apples from 3pm to 5pm, zero sugar beer from 5pm to 7pm, teas and apple juices.
Super easy access to the JR station as the hotel is located right above the building starting from 4/F. 1/F to 3/F are the JR stations and the adjacent shopping centre.
I stayed at the end of February. I chose this hotel in order to go to Towada Lake Winter Story. The location is very convenient. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Towada Lake slowly under heavy snow. The check-in experience is much better than expected. I originally thought that this kind of old hotel would be old and dirty, but I was wrong. Although the whole hotel is decorated in a more traditional way, it is not old-fashioned but has a lot of flavor. The furniture is a bit old but it does not affect the comfort. I have to praise its bedding and bed, which are super comfortable. It seems to have magic and I feel very comfortable lying in the bed without doing anything. I have stayed in high-end hot spring hotels before, but the beds are not as memorable as this one. The room has a ”home” feeling and it is really comfortable. The only drawback is that the pillow is a rice bag, which is not accustomed to sleeping on it. In addition, the wind power of the hair dryer is not strong enough. The wind power and heat are similar to those of a dryer. Ladies with long hair will get tired of blowing their hands. Apart from the above two points, I am very satisfied with the rest. The breakfast selection is sufficient and tastes good, so you won't feel hungry. The dinner you choose when booking the room online will be prepared in the public canteen. It tastes good and has many styles. The hairy crabs are delicious. I think it is great value to have such food and accommodation quality at this price. The staff is also very friendly and proactive. I stayed for two nights and felt so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this hotel. I am very satisfied and like it.
Very close to Hirosaki Castle, many restaurants nearby, and convenient parking.
The hot spring is on the top floor with a great view. The ramen for midnight snack is also delicious. The lobby has free apple juice. I would visit again.
3 nights stay is too long to enjoy the food diversity.
The menu of breakfast and dinner of each day were exactly identical.
The 1st night room wasn't good and paid extra money for a new view.
We were charged Y6000 per person per night.
Still don't understand why they charged per person not per room.
Anyhow the staff was excellent to help our request.
The hotel is located at the northern foot of Mount Iwaki in Aomori Prefecture, with an excellent natural environment.
The room overlooks the Sea of Japan. Unfortunately, it was cloudy when I checked in, otherwise I believe I could see the sunset over the Sea of Japan.
The ski resort next to it has many snow trails, but there are mostly green trails for beginners, which is very suitable for most ski enthusiasts.
Only the hotel's breakfast and dinner meals are of lower quality.
The overall experience is great.
1. The room is very delicate, very clean and beautifully furnished. More luxurious Japanese-style room.
2. Facing the sea, the environment around the hotel is very good.
3. Complete facilities, private baths can also be rented if there are public baths.
4. The food in the hotel is very generous. Whether breakfast or dinner.
5. There is also a three-string performance at 8 pm. The performance of the old man is really great. Although he can't understand Japanese, he can be infected by the atmosphere.
6. One of the managers of the hotel is Taiwanese. Friendly and good service to customers.
This hotel is recommended.
Aomori City was experiencing a terrible snowfall that day, so we arrived about two hours later than planned. We contacted them while driving to inform them that we would be delayed, and finally arrived much later than planned, driving through the heavy snow, but the response and consideration of the front desk staff was heartwarming.
I went on a trip with my 20-something child and my elderly mother. I had forgotten to make a reservation for a pick-up from the station, but there was someone there, so I asked and they gladly agreed.
The hot spring had a large bath and an open-air bath, and the water temperature was just right. There was also a sauna.
The changing room was also clean.
The meal plan included one night and two meals, and the amount of fish, wild vegetables, bamboo shoots and maitake mushrooms in a pot, tempura, etc. was so large that it was almost impossible to finish, and I was very satisfied.
Breakfast was not a buffet, but Japanese food.
There was no meat, so the 20-something child seemed a little disappointed.
I'm sure there was meat at the restaurant outside the plan.
Most of the guests were middle-aged to elderly, and we were the only young guests.
I was satisfied, but overall, I got the impression that it was a hot spring for the elderly, including the food and location.
The hotel is in the snow field. When booking through Ctrip, it always shows that the listing is tight, but there are not many people actually staying. There is also a hotel next to ”Bajiatian Villa”, but Ctrip can't book. The room was large, but the toilet was small, the room had heating, it was very hot, I opened a little window to sleep at night. The room rate includes breakfast and dinner, which are typical Japanese meals, but rarely a little sashimi, and the taste is average. The hotel has its own indoor hot spring. When asked, it was free. When checking out, it received a tax of 150 yen. I don't understand what theory this tax is charged. It is estimated that due to the bad price/performance ratio, there are not many people living, and most people live in Aomori even if they ski the next day. By the way, Chengcang and sour soup, these two are still some distance from the snow field. In addition to three buses a day, the hotel is also free to pick up and drop off, but the general time is fixed, Chengcang is sent at 9 o'clock and picked up at 3 pm. If you need other time to pick up and drop off, you have to negotiate with the hotel.
Go to the ski resort in front of the bus stop line 11, there is a stop sign, three shifts a day, the earliest at 8 am, I was worried about the number of people, I went to the queue 20 minutes in advance, but finally got off, the bus in the middle of the aisle There are prepared chairs to use.
By the way, Bajiatian Ski Resort. The snow is really good, really good, really good! Completely natural snow, no pressure. But the cable car is often out of service. It is recommended that you watch the announcement of the snow field at 7 o'clock in the morning. If the suspension is not coming. I slipped on the first day. The weather was very good that day, but the cable car was out of service. I had no choice but to go to the small snow field next to it for an afternoon, and it was 3,800 yen for 4 hours for half a day. I also slipped twice the next day, and it was out of service due to the wind.
Very Good

GGuest UserMy main reason to go to Ajigasawa was to visit the Takayama Inari Shrine with its snaking Tori gates. It’s about a tenth the length and size of Kyoto’s.
Found this ryokan by reviews in the area. It was a toss up between this and the nearby hotel; which turns out to be run by the same group!
The ryokan shows its age. But it’s very comfortable, clean and the service, especially by Noro who used his translation app so well, was impeccable! They have map of the property in English.
If you drink (alcohol), it’s available in spades! There’s unlimited snacks, water, soda, popsicles, coffee, tea and alcohol for guests.
The onsen is open to public, it seemed like the whole village descends after dinner to have a dip!
We spent one night: dinner and breakfast were excellent!
YYanmisunxingmijiangHow can I describe this place? It's so special. I was worried about the lack of snow before I came up, but it snowed so heavily on the mountain that it felt like two different worlds from the bottom.
As soon as I entered the hotel, I smelled the smell of kerosene lamps. The whole hotel had no electricity or signal, which was suitable for daydreaming and looking at the scenery. There was a stream outside the room, and it felt good to fall asleep listening to the sound of the stream at night.
The road up the mountain was so beautiful. It felt like a fairy tale world when it snowed. The food was okay, and the fish tasted good. There were two pools under maintenance, but I didn't go there much. It still took two nights to be enough, so I booked two nights, and I was generally very satisfied~
GGuest UserFor less than 1400, supper comes out for supper, breakfast comes out. After breakfast, each person drinks a cup of coffee or tea at the bar. The hot spring is free to soak. It is only 20 minutes away from Aomori by tram. I think it is worth taking a half day alone as a relaxing trip. After all, Aomori is very small. I live in the city for a day to see the House of the Sandman and my favorite punch card. Hoshino, why not try it! It's not easy to find a hot spring street that is not in the old forest in the mountains these days (in fact, the hotels in Asamushi are a bit scattered). Talk about the shortcomings, the hotel welcomes you free of charge, but you need to make an appointment or call after you arrive at Asamushi Station. You do n’t need to worry about Japanese if you are in Japan. Even more trouble. However, you can try your luck. Saturday's pick-ups may be intensive, and we just happened to get in the car. If you go by yourself, it ’s not as easy to find as the other ones. Yu Zhi Tang is next to him, and it ’s not easy to find. On the contrary, those who can see the sea are very eye-catching and easy to find. The room is a bit small, to be honest, but eating well can make up for some regrets.
SShahulSuperb views, buffet dinner options, diverse indoor outdoor bath options with salt and clear water!! A rare gem for families. Staff spoke English at front desk and restaurants, and welcome descriptions note is written in English as well. Alternate timings at bath for
Men and women assures equal views for both. The outside open air bath at the beach is probably the hit and can get crowded at sunset and less so during sunrise. The open air bath attached to the indoor area bath offers better sunset views, from an elevation of about 30 meters. We (family of three) enjoyed it very much and probably rank it the best of our three prefecture experience with respect to the bath.
JJeffThis hot spring hotel is located on the top of a mountain. And it takes around an hour of driving up the hill in order to get to the hotel, but the view is completely worth it, the stars at night was so beautiful. The hot spring outdoor was comfy as well. However, the hotel didn’t have elevator, so maybe it’s best that you pack a smaller luggage. The dinner was verrrryyyyyy good and fresh, and the Aomori Apple beer that they had was sooooo goood. The buffet style breakfast offer different kinds of food too from English to Japanese. One thing that we are not a fan of was the blue indoor wear that they offer, as it didn’t look good and look like a massage therapist. Haha
ZzhoushurenThe famous specialty cuisine of Yanchi Onsen is the rockfish cuisine.
Source Google Translate: A happy time that transcends time and space.
This hot spring located in Hakkoda Mountain has a 400-year history and is known as one of Japan's three secret hot springs. The hot spring water flowing directly from the bottom of the bathtub is also effective for low back pain and atopic dermatitis. Soaking in the gushing soft water can relieve daily fatigue and spend a happy time. Please enjoy two hot springs: the lower bath, said to be a spiritual hot spring, with a temperature of 38 degrees, and the upper bath, with a temperature of 42 degrees. Even if you just want to take a dip, feel free to come.
JJacq SThis really a gem for us! During our booking, there's no any comment from trip.com, but we saw the location and Japan hotel website reviews are not bad, we never regret to choose this hidden gem stay! This stay operated by a family, they're friendly, communication wise main by translate apps. During our stay, there's only we 1 family, we deeply enjoyed the privacy. The ryokan is sparkling clean, onsen is real best & clean, foods are the BEST local foods. To go this place, suggest to self drive. Unfortunately after we left, the stay close for winter rest. I'll definitely come back to this for next
TThanathip MoolvongAlthough I chose this ryokan as alternative place but it turned out it is my best stay so far. It is not far from Kuroishi and it is accessible by public transport.
Room is very spacious and has both a bathroom and a toilet.
Onsen is good. It has both indoor and outdoor ones. Usually it is not busy.
Food was great both dinner and breakfast.
Free flow of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are also included. Very generous.
Staffs are very friendly, although their English are very limited.
Extra 150 yen per person for onsen tax. Cash term only.
Cashless payment is available.
DDaniel CSA very traditional onsen ryokan, a very good experience. The onsen was excellent. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Thing to note that the traditional Japanese rooms in the main building has not ensuite bathroom, it's shared bathroom. A bit inconvenient but not troublesome at all. Enjoyed the stay here.
