The location really near from the central City of Chongqing and also Metro Line 2. The hostel location in 6 floor, you can access with lift. Near from the hostel, many kind of restaurant and food street, just walking and you can find what kind of food do you want. The staff really helpful. They provide free towel (it will be change in every day, really good in my opinion) and also they provide one bottle of mineral water every day. The bed more large if we compare with other hostel, so comfortable. The ambience really good, there is free consol game, music (piano, guitar, Cajon, jimbe), free refrigerator and microwave to safe and warmth the food. The staff has translator for many languages, so no need worry with language barriers, this is valuable for this hostel. The hostel provide washing machine, but it need to be pay, but still good deal price (8rmb for 40 minutes, and 5rmb for 25 minutes). They also provide dryer machine. For several countries like to use shower pump in the toilet, this hostel provide also with squat toilet or sitting toilet hahaha. Really comfortable. Maybe suggestion, in the toilet, they need to put hangers to put our things during in the toilet, same like the shower place. And also maybe in the shoes room need to improve how to maintenance the odors.

Best hostel I’ve stayed in so far, the metro is literally 2 steps away, 2 lines and a bus stop ok the road opposite, you are connected and easy to see all tourist attractions. The bed was clean and comfortable can even chose the softness of pillow. Locker large enough for my big suitcase. Bathroom really clean and had one western toilet. Also there is a makeup room where you can have things like brushes, hairdryer, and cotton buds. The dining area is nice and the food was good, had some roasted pork and rice with a cocktail which was very strong. Finally the view from the balcony is amazing. Definitely will come back here 10000/10.

My First Hostel Experience: A Warm, Surprising, and Unforgettable Trip to Chongqing This was my very first time staying at a youth hostel, and it turned out to be surprisingly wonderful. From the moment I stepped in, I felt a warm welcome from both the staff and fellow travelers, as if I wasn't a stranger, but an old friend I hadn't seen in years. What truly moved me was the incredibly friendly and culturally diverse atmosphere. I met so many friends from different countries and regions. Even though we spoke different languages, we managed to build genuine connections through smiles, shared stories, and meals together. A special thanks to everyone who helped me – whether it was offering travel tips, showing me how to use local apps, or simply chatting. I'll deeply cherish every act of kindness you showed me. The people here are just so lovely! (And on a side note, Tiga is incredibly handsome and sweet, but alas, he already has a girlfriend! Haha 😆) Even though my stay in Chongqing was far too short, every single day I spent here left me feeling happy and content. I swear, if I ever get the chance to visit Chongqing again, I'll definitely choose this hostel once more, and I absolutely must share meals and chats with everyone again! This isn't just a place to stay; it felt more like my ”second home” away from home. I miss every single one of you, and I truly hope we can meet again very soon! 💛

Very friendly staff - helped me with ordering food and organising a tour. Nice common area with social activities. The highlight is the dog and the cat running around. Room was nice, cleaned daily and refreshed amenities. Location is central and walking distance to Hongya cave. It will be really helpful if there could be a sign for the hotel at the bottom of the building, especially for international travellers. I really struggled with finding the place.

Great little hostel in a handy location, at the edge of Mountain City Valley tourist attraction. The hostel is modern and quite well-equipped, and the staff speak English well. The common area on Level 4 is a nice spot to wind down and relax, although the toilet and shower rooms are fine, note that they are a little worse for wear now. Overall, I would recommend.

To ease the searching of the hostel: The hostel is just at your right side of Xiaoshizi Metro Station after you go out from exit 9. The building is between Chongqing Bank and China mobile. Hope it help in searching. Very thankful to the mgr who allows me to put my luggage n take a shower before my departure at 10pm due to my midnight flight. A pleasant stay definitely in there.

Staff were very friendly and let me check in early in the morning after my overnight train. The common area has a nice vibe and is pleasant to hang out in, kind of feels like a cozy cafe. The soft towel and amenities that came in the locker were greatly appreciated and were replaced daily. Locker itself was also very big, enough for a large suitcase. Unfortunately not the cleanest - a lot of hair and dust in the floor and under the mattress. My bunk curtain was stained on the inside and would benefit from being washed. Mens bathroom felt similar, I was reluctant to take my slippers off in the shower and although the toilets themselves were cleaned daily, it was just the cubicles that seemed neglected. Overall a positive stay in a beautiful city, just needs some more attention to the details for cleanliness :)

I had an excellent experience staying at Qingyou Hotel during my trip to Chongqing. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center and within walking distance to many of the major attractions. It’s also conveniently close to two metro lines, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well-maintained. It offers great facilities including a small gym, a comfortable dining area, and a laundry space; all of which made my stay more convenient and enjoyable. What truly made the difference, though, was the staff. The receptionists were consistently helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. I want to give special thanks particularly to Feifei, a kind and attentive young woman who went above and beyond to assist me when I had trouble with my power bank. Her patience and willingness to help made a lasting impression, and her warm attitude added a personal touch that made the hostel feel like home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chongqing. Great value, fantastic location, and truly wonderful people.

Excellent place to stay in Chongqing. Only a few steps away from Lianglukou metro station, so very convenient to move around. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There are washing machines and a dryer machine to do the laundry, which were very convenient to use and pay with the phone. Definitely staying here again next time!

I have recommended this place to everyone. I highly recommend it. Outside the window is the big screen of my stay in Chongqing. It is right next to the bed and you can see it when you get up. Downstairs is the Guanyin Bridge Food Street and the big screen of my stay in Chongqing. You don't even have to go to the observation deck. It's very good. I will come again next time and stay in this room.
