The location of the hotel is very good, but the trail leading to Mao Cable Mountain on the left side of the entrance has very long grass and many insects, so it is no longer suitable for walking. The hotel service is only available until 10pm, which is a pity. In addition, the hotel has free bicycle rentals, which is a good intention. However, the bicycles are old and lack maintenance, making them difficult to ride. In addition, there is a steep slope from the door to the lake-circling bicycle path, and it is estimated that not many people can ride it.

GGuest UserThis time I booked a quadruple room with a full lake view. I was given 702 on the top floor. I took the elevator to the sixth floor and then took the stairs to the first floor. What I saw was a utility room covered with cloth. It didn’t look good. I would come again. When you open the door and enter the room, you can see the lake on all sides, but the window view is all foggy and the window frame is dirty (like bird excrement). It is not worth the price at all. After checking out, I saw a room on the 6th floor. The window view is clean and bright, so only the seventh floor is dirty? Why is there such differential treatment? Or is the seventh floor reserved for the booking website? Is it because of the discount?
The staff later replied that the window contained chemicals left behind by the manufacturer when cleaning it a few days ago. If this was the case, it was unreasonable to ask whether they should have been disposed of before selling.
The overall service attitude of the hotel staff is excellent, and the location is great. Please don't choose a room on the 7th floor, it should be a good value for money.

SsomchartSpring Ground Hotel is in good Location and close about 5mins drive to CingJing Farm. If you take Nan Tou Bus, you can drop off at Shou Ting Bus Stop, it will be just 1min walk to the Hotel. It's very convenience. Hotel's scenery and hotel itself is very Beautiful. In early of Nov, The weather is so nice. Day time is ok around 25c and Night Time around 15-18c. There is no need for air conditioner. Hotel Breakfast is just ok. If you want to go to CingJing Farm or small market, you can inform the hotel staff, they are nice to help you. Hotel also have a good Mala Hot Pot restaurant. Restaurant need you to order at least 1set per person but the price is reasonable and very good tasty. We are all happy staying here.

Breakfast is served at the counter, 200 Taiwan dollars per person for Western food, and there is also bread for 100 Taiwan dollars at the counter. There is a 7-11 five minutes away, so it is very convenient

GGuest UserThe best part about this hotel (国民賓館) is its location. Bus 6664, 6658, 6659 all stop less than 80m from its entrance if you're using Nantou bus. It's along the main road which is easy for pickups if you're joining local day or night tours. Across the road from Little Swiss Garden. Even Cingjing Farm has signs along its walking paths directing visitors to the hotel.
The other main benefit was that the room rates I paid on Trip.com included a pair of tickets to Green Green Grassland, Little Swiss Garden and a discounted ticket (only need top up 30TWD each) to the Cingjing Skywalk - pleasantly surprised to know this only at check-in although I knew beforehand that the room rates included basic Chinese breakfast for 2, which was another convenient point for guests.
The hotel buildings and room was a bit dated, no aircon since the weather in the evening and morning is cooling. But the room, bed, utilensils and toilet were clean. The view from the room balcony and hotel garden was nice to view sunset.

CCYY1111I booked Lake View Quad 1 Room 2 Nights. Inside the room two large double beds were placed side by side on one side of the room, leaving a small passage to place your luggages and to move within the room. The two beds were sufficient for 4 pax. But the beds were so close, there was no walking space between them. One can only get out of the bed via the foot of the bed. This is not ideal for senior people who may need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. So if you are travelling with seniors, take the twin / double room instead. The savings is not worth it. Plus the room has really limited space for 4 adults to be moving around.
The plus point for this hotel is that it has an amazing view of the lake and there are many shops along the street. Do note that the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours next door, especially if they sat at the balcony. There was no shower curtain so the whole toilet was wet after our shower. We didn't use the tub as it was not easy for the seniors to sit inside. No amenities except Shampoo and Body Soap.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located at the entrance of Yokai Village, and the interior is themed around Yokai. It seems like a good memory for families (especially children), but it may be a matter of taste.
The breakfast was not satisfactory, and the facilities were average.
Considering that it is quieter than Jiufen, it is good for taking pictures in Yokai Village, so it is somewhat satisfactory.
