We were 4 adults and one child and were overcharged by Trip.com by 1/3 of the price (about 10,000 yen). The hotel staff were helpful but they couldn't do anything as this was a mistake by the agents not the hotel. I will be contacting Trip.com to ask for a refund of the amount they charged us in error.

I didn't enjoy the scenery because it wasn't on the sea side, but the location is great because it is convenient to be close to the Karato market. This is a trip I took with my parents. I made a reservation for a 3-person connecting room. When I used it that day, it seemed like two rooms had been opened and could be used as connecting rooms. So it was much more convenient to have two bathrooms available. You can take a hot spring bath on the second floor, and the breakfast was good in Japanese style. Check-out was at 10 am, but I was very satisfied because I was able to check out at 12 pm by adding 2,000 yen. The location was close to the pier and the staff were very friendly. What I liked the most was that it was a new place and it was clean :) If I travel here again, I think I will stay there again.

Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.

It was a single room, but it was quite spacious (probably it used to be a twin room) and the interior had a somewhat Showa-era feel to it. I used Toyoko Inn Shin Yamaguchi for 4 nights this time. This hotel is the second time, when you get off the Shinkansen exit, you can see the hotel in front of you, and there are meals, convenience stores, etc. nearby, so it is a very good location hotel I plan to use it again next month.

It’s an old shop. The female players perform very hard at night. The decorations in the shop are very textured. I happened to meet the female shop owner and introduced various crafts enthusiastically. I also bought the special handicraft camellia.

The correspondence of the hotel was very good. I went by motorcycle but the bicycle parking lot was good. I had dinner in front of Iwakuni station, but I was not impressed by the mediocre.

Near to the Iwakuni train station. Staff is very helpful and always smiling. Opposite the hotel is a big supermarket. My first stay in Tokyo Inn and I was quite impressed by the breakfast. You able to bring the breakfast to your room if you worry about getting crowded at the breakfast area. Highly recommended.
