Hotel is located outside of the city centre. It takes 5 mins by bus and 25 mins by walk to reach the city centre. The bus stop is nearby. Not much food options near the hotel, only there are KFC and a fish and chips shop. The hotel is clean, room is cleaned every day. Breakfast is English style with same menu every day. The breakfast is served from 7 am which is late as we had to catch coach for daytrip which starts from city centre at 7:30. Though I had booked room with breakfast from Trip.com, the receptionist was asking to book the breakfast again as it seems trip.com doesn't share the breakfast booking with hotel. So receptionist asked to show the proof of breakfast booking which was awkward. Other than this minor issues, overall experience was good.

Guest UserThe hotel is in need of updating and refurb. No free wifi. Furniture is old. That said, the check in was friendly and efficient and all the staff I came across were good to deal with. I had a meal in the bar. Food was fine and a decent size. Breakfast gave enough choice from a continental style buffet. The bedroom was away from outside noise. Just a bit of noise as other guests came and went. Tired bathroom but everything worked. For a one night stopover as a solo traveller it was fine.

K T Richard TanStayed here recently when i was touring Scotland. A very nice hotel. Location quite far from Inverness city centre. There is no expressway to and from this hotel at the airport. So the drive can be slow due to the small roads.
The close proximity to the airport does not present any aircraft noise problem. But I could hear my neighbour's hair dryer.
I like the size of the room and the bathroom. Larger than most hotels. I particularly like the walkin shower as my wife and I can't climb in and out of bath tubs.
The breakfast was great even though the variety of choices may not be as large as other Marriott brands of hotels. Fried eggs need to be ordered. The sunnyside up was the best i have eaten.
The staff were all wonderfully friendly and helpful.
You must register your car to avoid being charged. But I am sure with the many talents in the entire Marriott group, I am sure they can think of a better way to manage the parking system without their customers complaining on Internet.
Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay.

ukmingThe room is clean and comfortable, but there is no air-conditioning and it can be a little hot sometimes. The temperature sense is different in different rooms, you can ask the front desk. But it's fine to live in.

Guest UserHotel layout was lovely, room was exactly what you would need. Shower was a bit small but still good. Bed was comfy. Swimming pool and facilities were excellent with lockers to store your stuff in free of charge. Reception staff were very attentive and very helpful. Foyer bar food was good and sitting area was very chilled. We did find that the bar staff amongst the hotel were a bit rude at times, customer service could have been better in that regard. Buffet at the restaurant was a bit disappointing, not a huge range of food and for £15 each for breakfast and £25 each for dinner; it was not value for money. Location was spot on, a 2 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the Rothiemurchus centre and 50 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the village. Overall a very nice stay and would happily visit again.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star. Top range 3 star at best. The room was clean. It was advertised as a king sized bed, however putting 2 single beds together is very misleading.
The Italian restaurant, the staff are nice but the service is very very slow. Took me an hour to get food. The location is ideal. The sports centre is good and spacious. The pool is good fun. The gym needs a complete modernisation program. Not enough equipment and in a very small room. The sports centre could utiltse space more effectively and have a state of the art gym in the other bigger rooms. It would be used well, however this is sadly not the case. I will return and use this hotel in the future. The price is not cheep and if your expecting Hilton quality then this is not the hotel for you.

Not a golfer but chose this place because of the star rating. Takes about 20 minutes to walk into city centre. First room looked over noisy air conditioning units so I was offered two others on a lower floor. Got a peaceful night's sleep with room overlooking car park. Furniture and bathroom door looks like it could do with a lick of paint. Refreshments a little subpar for a luxury hotel. Everywhere else I've stayed had a coffee pod machine. Staff booked an airport taxi for us but forgot the wakeup call. Despite this, I'd say service is quite good.

Excellent location and cool swimming pool. The fitness centre is quite limited. Getting something to eat in the evening at the bar or getting a coffee in the morning is impossible. Also the bathroom was a little filthy, especially the shower cap full of mold. For 150 pounds per night I wasn't impressed at all. Staff not particularly friendly. It also looks past it's best days. I feel like management of this resort is weak and lacking and should be much better.

The staff were incredibly kind and wonderful!
The breakfast area had plenty of tables and counter space, and the menu was extensive and delicious, including fruits, bread, ham, sausages, eggs, cheese, haggis, juice, and coffee.
It was a comfortable stay, so if I ever come to Inverness again, I will definitely choose this hotel. I highly recommend B&B Hotel Inverness to anyone considering a stay in Inverness.
