Great 1 night stay with my partner, room was a great size, clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful, checking in and out was a breeze, lot of complaints regarding breakfast that I have read but the offering was good at least for our stay. If I had to make any complaints it would be the loud plumbing but honestly this didn’t bother us much. Ultimately we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again in the future.
Right next to the English Channel, with an unbeatable sea view room, very close to the White Cliffs. The hotel room was spacious and clean. There were a lot of people when checking in, so we waited for a while and checked out at 10:30 in the morning.

We had a great experience at this hotel! The welcome cookie was delicious and just what we needed after a long drive down from London. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with some towel art and cake! The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet had great variety and a beautiful view.
Only comments would be the lack of complementary water and mini-fridge the room. The AC took a while to become cold, but it got there eventually.
Overall, we had a great trip and don’t regret picking this hotel!
The Leonardo Waterfront was the perfect choice for meeting family in Brighton. We felt relaxed immediately - the staff are friendly and helpful, and the foyer (despite being huge and open plan) has lots of cosy areas for a drink or meal.
The rooms were spacious, very well-equipped and clean - one with a great sea view and the other with an internal window overlooking the foyer, which sounds unusual and potentially dark, but was actually lovely and, due to the glass ceiling, not oppressive at all. We had everything we needed; large comfy bed, good shower, fancy coffee, a fridge, a guide book to Brighton and complimentary water.
The location is great too. The main entrance is on seafront, close to the pier, and the rear doors lead straight to the Lanes, with lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants within metres. The gym, pool, steam room and sauna were nice to use as well - like the rest of the hotel, clean and well-looked after with attentive staff. The only minor issue was that our key card disconnected a few times despite keeping it away from phone and electronics. It wasn’t too bad having to go to Reception to have it reset from the first floor, but might’ve been annoying from a room the fourth floor! Everything else more than made up for that though - thank you to all the staff for a fantastic stay!
Beautiful hotel with spacious modern rooms, and huge grounds to explore, as well as a great spa and pool next door.
Bannatyne's is a truly lovely resort in a great location, with amazing staff.
Used this as a convenient stay over to attend a function locally. It was much better than expected. We were able to use the swimming pool and sauna before we went out. We had a lunch in the bar which was reasonably priced and good quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and hot, great selection fruit yoghurt cereal and full English with tea and coffee.
I would use this hotel again
Beautiful boutique hotel, we has great service from friendly and efficient staff. Our room was clean and very comfortable with lovely views. The bar served a good variety of drinks and cocktails. We did not eat her as we met with family.
This is a manor hotel, and it looks pretty good from the outside. I still want to pick something wrong: First of all, it is the hygiene problem. Cobwebs can be seen everywhere, in the corner of the bathroom, on the walls of the room, and even in the menu of the food delivery. I can't understand such a thing appearing in a so-called high-end hotel. Inside; the waiter is still quite polite, but I called the front desk from the room to arrange the wake-up service for me the next day... but it was not done for me; the restaurant is said to belong to Fine Dining, from the perspective of the breakfast... Healthy, Do what I want for me with intentions, not sloppy; the hotel is equipped with a so-called clubhouse, including a separate gym, swimming pool, changing room (but no sauna, steam), the equipment is not perfect; in addition, there is a leisure The restaurant in the hotel can be used by the guests of the health center, but the selection of coffee beans is not good; the hotel's main building and the rooms are quite stuffy, airtight, and have no air conditioning. The ¥1670 twin room with two breakfasts is not very spacious, there is no small refrigerator, the sound insulation is poor, and the walk outside the doorway can be heard clearly... and it is shocking; there are actually two English-style billiard tables downstairs in the restaurant of the main building for guests. Play, that's the only big highlight. You have to check out at 11 o'clock, which can be delayed for an hour, and then you need to charge 50 pounds, but it does not say how long this charge will last.
Fantastic hotel. Spa was a great place to unwind. The pavilion restaurant was really good food. And breakfast delicious. Is going through a refit currently. Hope the car chargers work soon

GGuest UserWe selected this hotel as it looked good value for money, which generally it was, but is worth noting that their breakfast is NOT a buffet as advertised, it is one main of their menu and Tea, Coffee, juice or water. Their buffet section was toast and cornflakes, not what we expected, as website stated continental / English buffet, but what we did order for our breakfast was OK and was what to be expected. We had a room below ground level, which at times we could hear what sounded like kitchen staff through the shower trap, guessing it's echoing through the pipes. The room was clean, but not spotless, again expected with the price. We would recommend this hotel if you were on a budget and didn't have any high expectations.
GGuest UserWe decided to stay at The Grand as a 3 night getaway as my partner is currently pregnant. The service from arrival to departure was first rate, and the hotel was beautiful.
Our room (which we upgraded to have a sea view) was newly renovated, with a free standing bath, sofa, coffee table and two tub chairs. The bathroom included a spacious shower and his/her sinks.
Everything was spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
PS: All the mess in the photo was ours...!
GGuest UserGreat location right next to the station so we could drop off our bags and head into the town. The staff were very helpful. Would recommend and stay in again.

AAnonymous UserCame over a little queer while away rang emergency services for help, that was last week ha ha. Apart from that just look after yourself always knowing your on holiday. Grin and bear it. Only here once I'm told. Couldn't fault the place, I tried but couldn't. Ps better than NHS food any day of the Milena. Keep up the good work. Pps if you don't agree don't read then.
BBrunoEverything was amazing. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the location is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly. We had a really good time in the hotel.

GGuest UserAmazing location right by the beach so some rooms would be overlooking the promenade and coast.
The rooms are tired and decoration needs to be updated although the reception areas look good. The beds and pillows were VERY comfy! Better than some travelodge, so a good night sleep. So if you can look past the poor paint, the £37 a night twin room will be a bargain. I would return at this price, but not more expensive.
Its not the usual high quality or standard that I expected from Best Western chain. More a budget option.
£7 is for a continental breakfast so this was declined. Tea and coffee in room was good.
Late arrival but checking in was swift and very helpful. Free but limited overnight parking outside but you have to get a ticket (the hotel can do this for you for £2.25) from 8am so if you want a lie in, you need to book and pay when you check in.
