This hotel is new and singles itself out from the rest in the region. The rooms, public areas and service are simply great! The prices are super reasonable. Hoa Binh itself isn’t the most exciting town but it has a dam which is very worthwhile visiting.

The hotel pretty much lives up to its description. The room was good and clean: crisp bed linen, towels, and toiletries – all up to standard. The breakfast was very good for Vietnam, with a buffet that offered a good variety. We also had lunch at the same restaurant and really enjoyed the green salad and pumpkin soup. However, the chicken and corn soup was a bit unusual and not to our taste, but that's subjective. The pool is large and offers a view of the castle (on a clear day). There are a few quirks though: the pool is on one floor, while the spa area, saunas, and fitness center are on another. For some reason, the spa, saunas, and fitness center weren't operating, which was a shame because we would have happily used them on the second day when the weather was bad. There were also some minor issues with the pool area. The lockers in the changing rooms don't have keys, and you only get towels if you pay a cash deposit. This system seemed a bit odd, as usually you leave your room key as a deposit. We found a workaround by going down to the pool in our bathrobes and using towels from our room. But this was also inconvenient because of the high humidity in the city; things don't dry well, so the towels ended up staying wet. In our opinion, the hotel should separate the guest flows: for staying guests, a card deposit for towels, and for non-staying visitors, a separate payment or membership. The front desk staff were very responsive and always helped quickly. We had trouble booking a Grab taxi from Tam Dao to the airport – no cars were available. A staff member at reception quickly helped us solve the issue, and within 10 minutes, we were on our way to the airport. We really liked the hotel and would love to return, as the weather didn't allow us to visit all the places we had planned.

The hotel staff from reception to cooking and cleaning were kind, professional and prompt. My stay in the hotel was comfortable and I would like to stay in SoJo hotels when I'm in Vietnam. The food was well made and the pho was delicious for breakfast. Its location on the main road was useful and there were ATMs, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and beauty salons within walking distance. It was also only a five-minute walk from the stadium.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the entire team for making our two nite stay such a pleasant and memorable experience. A surprise decorated bed in celebration of our 22nd wedding anniversary — it was truly thoughtful and made the occasion even more meaningful. The front desk lady is very warm and gentle. Breakfast sometimes has Vietnamese rice noodles, very delicious 😋 beef soup and chicken soup. The breakfast is not as many as star hotels, but it is more Chinese. There are preserved egg lean meat porridge, white porridge, fried several vegetables, Vietnamese spring rolls and Tommy noodles, as well as yogurt, fruit, salad, eggs. Enough to eat. The price is quite high. Next time the business customer stays here. A bit like a business hotel in China of about 350 yuan.

The only five-star hotel in the area is equivalent to three or four stars in China. The equipment is very old. The breakfast is average, and the items in the refrigerator are charged. Only the two bottles of water on the table are free. There is basically no room service.
