JJourneywithfitI was impressed by the hotel’s service. The receptionist who attended to us was exceptionally friendly and thoughtful, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, such as toothbrushes. She also let us know that we could contact her if anything was missing and she would have it sent up promptly.
Another highlight was the water dispenser located outside the rooms. As many hotels in Europe no longer provide complimentary bottled water due to sustainability efforts, having easy access to drinking water was truly appreciated.
Location is near to the city centre and there are also supermarkets nearby.

AAnonymous Guest UserLocated near the central part of Cluj Napoca and has supermarket in the next building and the bus station to the airport is within 5 minute-walk distance. The room is clean and quiet. Breakfast is very good, although the food provision space is too small and it was hard to figure out how to pick the cold milk pack from the small fridge. One problem was they requested me to send my contact for receiving the pass key to enter the room and I replied from trip.com message, but it seemed blocked (maybe to prevent scam messages?) and I had to contact directly with the official website of the property.

GGuest UserThe environment is very good and the room is very big! It is very quiet in the mountains. The room hygiene is also very good. It took about 15 minutes to take a taxi from the city. very convenient. The breakfast variety is also quite rich! The price is very high! Five-star recommendation!

PPiotrKStaying in Villa Hotel Escala during our 3-day trip to Cluj Napoca was undeniably great choice. The manager welcomed us very warmly and showed us around at first place. The room looked exactly as in the picture - clean, spacious with terrace. Location of the hotel is also advantage - 15 minutes on foot from the center, but at the same time it is located in peaceful area. I am more than sure that we will visit Cluj Napoca again and Villa Hotel Escala will be our place to stay in.

I recommend signing up for their rewards to get 10% off foods and beverages. They have breakfast for champions and their restaurants food is good as well.

GGuest Userthe only let down ... no elevator other than that perfect breakfast was lovely . oh and 100% check out the ”taste of istanbul” very good food there . its in the hotel great location stones throw from bars and restaurants chop 2 min walk around the corner and about 5 mins to attrations . worth it

Cons: The location is somewhat remote, a bit far from the city center. The hotel is situated on a main road that runs through a residential area.
The furniture is very basic; there are no tissues, no desk, and no coffee machine. The facilities are quite basic. Breakfast is also very simple, with limited choices.
Overall Review: I saw many positive reviews when booking, but my experience was just average, significantly falling short of the standards of a ”four-star” hotel. Suitable for travelers with low expectations for facilities and those needing only temporary accommodation.

Excellent stay at Hotel Platinia. The hotel is modern, elegant, and very clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was professional and welcoming, and the location is perfect . We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

CClairemfalveyThe room was a decent size with the balcony overlooking the town. It was located right in the heart of the town and close to the buses. The bed was amazing and so comfortable and I loved the bed. The breakfast was a good spread that I enjoyed.
