Facilities are good. Bed is nice. Snacks that can be purchased inside the room are just Pringles and Pilipit. Outside food is not allowed in the resort. If this is the case, they have to ensure that they can feed everyone and provide us with a lot of choices. Unfortunately, they only have 3 restaurants which cannot accommodate all the people they let inside the resort. Food is hit or miss. Due to the so many people, quality of food suffers. Aside from having fully booked rooms, there are people who also got in for day tours. The pool for the suites at the uppermost level turned GRAY last Thursday. Good thing we had another room in the executive suite so we used the other pool. Although I must say that there are notable people like the concierge who helped my mom when she got stuck outside her room and opened her room for her. There’s also the waiter named AL from Haribar who made sure my sister’s pizza got to her and asked people from Bistro if we can eat it at the executive pool because we couldn’t stay in the other pool anymore because it was so murky. He also reserved us a table for dinner and had our food ready by the time we got there. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to eat on time on that day. There’s also the housekeeping staff who turned the bed for us and gave “towel animals” for my son. My son loved it so much, he kept the “sticker eyes” and he put it on his cellphone as a remembrance. Generally the housekeeping made a good impression on us. They clean our rooms twice a day and they give complimentary 2 pieces of puto or revel bars or maja mais. I also cannot forget the person who made sure my son’s burger and fries gets to our room in less than an hour. Average time for food is 55 minutes to an hour or worse, it doesn’t arrive at all. Imagine we stayed there for 5 days! If we didn’t have to ask some of these staff, we wouldn’t be able to eat properly. There was even a time we paid for another table’s bill. If we didn’t order additional ice cream, we would have never found out that we paid for somebody else’s bill! They fixed it and said sorry but that was it. Imagine we were eating there for 5 consecutive days 2X a day at least but they never gave us any complimentary stuff for the mess that they made. The transport service was always full that we had to assert ourselves so that other rude people who cut in line won’t get ahead of us. The staff can’t even control the people. They need to be able to have protocols in place to handle such situations. Out of frustration we didn’t want to add to the stress on the staff so we just got umbrellas and we just walked all the way to the port and we totally skipped the van from the welcome center. Even when we were about to leave, the staff said she would just call us when it is our turn but when we looked again she left and there were other people in line already. My husband had to ask another staff to put as in line even when we already signed the boat manifest ahead of the people in line. He had to ask them again to put our luggage in line. Unfortunately, they still forgot our luggage so we had to wait for them at the port. Also, we tried calling for a buggy to help us with the luggage from our room but no one was answering so we just did it ourselves. The beach was fine too. It had a lot of fishes and starfishes. Sand is not as fine as Boracay but clean. The water sports activities had a reasonable price point. My nephew and niece had a great time with the jetski. But towels are always running out. We had to look for them all the time even in the pool area and at the beach. So what was meant to be a relaxing week for us turned out to be a bit stressful at times. But overall, it was disappointing because I expected too much since they said it is the only 5 star luxury resort in Mindanao. I booked at Discovery Samal to give it a chance but I am sorry to say that I won’t be coming back.

The Dusit D2 offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for those seeking comfort and relaxation. While the amenities are well-designed, I found them to be a bit limited if you're the type who enjoys a variety of activities. The hotel features a pool, which is nice, but could feel a bit underwhelming if you're someone who craves more entertainment options. On the bright side, the 24-hour gym is a great perk for fitness enthusiasts, and the gourmet shop adds a touch of luxury for those looking to indulge in premium snacks or specialty items. Beyond these, however, there aren't many activities to keep you occupied, so it’s a space that caters more to relaxation and personal time, often spent in your room. Overall, Dusit D2 is ideal for a serene stay but might feel a bit too quiet for those who easily get bored. More in improvement on the food please, there’s no menu that sticks out or you want to try again.

We truly enjoyed the cozy ambience of the room, which was well-appointed and inviting. However, we noticed that the front desk staff could enhance their service with a warmer welcome and a bit more enthusiasm. Additionally, while the hotel has a charming character, some areas show signs of age, such as peeling paint and worn-out fixtures. With some renovation, this once-grand establishment could regain its former glory and offer an even more delightful experience for guests.

I recently stayed at Hotel Galleria in Davao City. While the location is quite convenient, I feel that the overall experience could use some improvement. The hotel feels a bit dated and would definitely benefit from some renovation and repairs. Cleanliness was also a concern — we felt the need to sanitize the room ourselves upon arrival, and there were moments we weren’t entirely comfortable with the beddings, possibly due to bed bugs or maybe I was just being overly cautious. I even had to place the blanket underneath me before settling in. That said, I hope the management takes this as constructive feedback. With a few updates and better attention to cleanliness, the hotel has the potential to offer a much more pleasant stay.

MMs. HayleyOur Unforgettable Escape at the Blue Lotus Hotel Our recent stay at the Blue Lotus Hotel was nothing short of idyllic. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and luxury. The hotel's design seamlessly blends modern elegance with traditional charm, creating a truly serene environment. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed and a breathtaking view. We spent hours lounging on our private balcony, sipping refreshing drinks and simply soaking in the beauty of our surroundings. The hotel's amenities were exceptional. We spent a relaxing afternoon by the pool, the turquoise water sparkling under the warm sun. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, a delightful symphony of flavors and textures. From the fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to the exquisite presentation, every dish was a treat for the senses. We especially enjoyed the [mention a specific dish you liked, e.g., seafood paella] – a truly unforgettable experience. Beyond the luxurious accommodations and exceptional service, the Blue Lotus Hotel offered a sense of escape, a chance to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle and reconnect with ourselves. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply grateful for this unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the Blue Lotus Hotel to anyone seeking a tranquil and luxurious getaway. It's a place where memories are made and relaxation is guaranteed.

YYkhca_TravelsWe arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

MMy Beautiful GaiaThe place is neat and clean the bed is heavenly comfortable the bedding so white and clean and the whole room itself from the fixtures of bathroom to the tiles isn’t cheap ac,hot and cold shower works perfect - maybe this is a new hotel, and there is also a pool which I have missed to look it up in the rooftop… The location is very close by to SM-lanang- though do not expect the area is upscale it’s in the neighborhood of people lives on their ordinary living - the hotel serves only a Filipino breakfast Nothing else what’s on their list is what all you get! And it’s Not appetizing ! - the front staff are friendly and just okay but they are not so attentive to you and No idea how to give any details to help you out and about the City 😑 … Grab is your butler anyway… and SM-lanang is a big bonus to this place where you can find the eats all you want ! Lastly, Free drinking water in dispenser and free Hot water any time …
