The location is very nice. It's very center of the town.
I have booked Bus to Vientian at reception. Somehow the price they mentioned was different depending on person in charge so I would recommend to double check if the quoted price is way higher than the travel shop in the town.
The scenary of swimming pool is very nice but the water temprature was too cold for us.
Overall, it was very comfortable stay.

If you're somewhat prepared for what to expect in Vang Vieng, Laos, then you should have a positive impression of this hotel. The staff can communicate in English, but even if you don't speak English, a translation app on your phone will suffice. The service attitude is excellent, and breakfast is good. The best part is that the hotel is right next to the hot air balloon launch site, so you can watch the balloons ascend, which is a beautiful sight. The hot water supply is plentiful. However, if you have high standards for cleanliness, I recommend bringing your own travel sleeping bag liner. When traveling to Laos, it's actually something you should prepare, and it's a point I realized I missed, even in Luang Prabang. There are small ants, which is unavoidable, so don't leave leftover beer or fruit on the table. All in all, as long as you're prepared, you'll be fine choosing this hotel. Oh, and finding it is absolutely not an issue.

Had a fantastic stay at the Confetti Garden Hotel in Vang Vieng! The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, perfect fuel for a day of exploring. The hotel's location is ideal - within walking distance to the night market and plenty of restaurants. Plus, the motorbike rental service made it easy to get around and see the sights. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Vang Vieng đ

Let me tell you, this hotel deserves to pay its staff triple! Khamla truly went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay, and her kindness left me speechless. Honestly, when I first arrived, I thought, âOh no, Iâm canceling my booking right now.â But thankfully, they let me see the room before check-in and even offered a full refund if I wasnât satisfied. In the end, I decided to stay for the two nights since I figured it would be okay.
Now, I wonât lieâthe exterior of the hotel looks a bit worn, but donât let that fool you! Inside, itâs spotless and conveniently located near a plethora of restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions. I booked an exhilarating hot air balloon ride for $120 through the hotel for the next day, and it was absolutely unforgettable.
I also had my heart set on visiting the Nahm Xai viewpoint but didnât want to venture out alone. The staff went out of their way to help me find an English-speaking tour guide, and when that didnât pan out, Khamla from the front desk stepped in. She graciously offered to be my guide on her day off! She hiked with me up to the viewpoint, snapped photos, and made sure I was safe and sound every step of the way.
In the end, I couldn't have been happier with my decision to stay. The service here is truly top tier, making this hotel experience one I wonât forget!
Great hotel! It's on the outskirts of town, but still close to everything. Breakfasts are simple but delicious. The staff is very friendly. The pool is gorgeous; I loved spending time there. And, of course, the mountain views are incredible. The only downside is that there's a pub nearby, and there can be loud music in the evenings. Otherwise, everything was great, thank you!

Great communication with the hostel owners, no problems, perfect English, good travelling tips, no problems with leaving a baggage for longer to go exploring in the meantime while already checked out. Funny dog tho, it's harmless, but if someone is scared of dogs, it will bark at you, so just be aware of that. And I love dogs and they always love me, but this one just does that ...
Great view from the rooftop is a great plus!
This hotel is incredibly romantic and beautiful. The staff are so friendly, and there are many Europeans, which gives it an exotic vibe and a strong sense of being on a vacation. It's a truly beautiful resort, and all the staff greet you with a smile. I definitely want to come back.
We enjoyed our stay here. The pool was well kept and a nice way to cool off from the incredible heat! The breakfast was good, with the exception of one day when there was a huge group that cleaned it all out before we arrived and then there wasn't anything left for us (not the property's fault). Our room was nice, and we had a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful, even renting us a scooter for a day. It was about a 20 minute walk from the center of town, which was okay for us.
There is so many good things that can be said. If you are looking for natural beauty only a minute away from the city this is it. Coupled with the most helpful staff I have ever experienced in line with The Taj in India. Over the top help and professionalism. Great pool and spa. Big rooms, comfortable bed. Tasty food at restaurant. And more âŚ!

PPhanouKVSThe room is spacious and clean. But the noise from next door is pretty loud when they close the door. But overall a fine stay for short trip.
GGuest UserGood location, near everything, nice swimming pool. Friendly staff and tasty coffee. Only the breakfast is a let down as it is very small and narrow choice. All together it is worth it.
MM18599****Vang Vieng Anan Riverview Hotel - The room was pretty standard, and the facilities were quite old. The bedding looked a bit dirty and yellowish. The owner doesn't speak Chinese. The main advantage is that it's cheap and conveniently located.
JJamorMixed feelings about this hotel. On the positive it's a new hotel, everything is quite clean, you have your own balcony and all that for a decent price. Location is good as it's a bit outside the noisy party area but not too far, so you're still kinda in the centre. But a few negative things to point out: you have two large glass window walls on the front and back, that's not everyone's taste. You also have a bathtub with large window and good view however the hotel is designed in a way that the neighbour can also look into your bathtub from their balcony from just 1 meter distance, awkward. Also the water is not properly hot, just 40 degrees maximum, so it's not possible to have a proper bath anyways. Toilet flush didn't work. The light switches are so strange because some work with a mechanic switch and some work with a sensor hat reacts to your movements, staff didn't tell me and I took a long time to figure out. Look, no one uses this and it's inconvenient for the guests, just use normal light switches and ideally label them. Then there is the breakfast, coffee machine was broken down and the food was mediocre at best. Staff was friendly and tried their best. Would I book again? Actually yea maybe, it has a certain value proposition but from the details you can see that a lot of potential has been missed by questionable design choices or lack of maintenance.

KkdreidgeThis hotel felt quite run down. We arrived to the lobby with two old mattresses leaning against the wall. The room was big and had lovely views, however, the door had cracks in it that you could see through to the hallway and hear everything going on outside the room. The bathroom is in need of desperate repair. The AC roared loudly on and off all night, the metal from the AC rattled the windows. The sheets did not fully cover the mattress (just a loose sheet on top of the bare mattress, so in the night I found myself touching the old mattress with my hand). White duvet had stains. Pool was really nice with river views, definitely the highlight of our stay. We went elsewhere for breakfast after seeing what was offered. Staff were helpful in booking a tuk tuk and storing our luggage for the day.
GGuest UserProbably the best value for its price. I great lounge zone with tables, the hotel is new. The owner and the manager guy are always trying to be helpful, very responsible. The hotel is super clean, they provide all the services starting from bus tickets and motorbike rental to hot air balloon and blue lagoon tours. Though thereâs a better price for the buggy rent in the other places. I had a gigantic cockroach in my room once, I told the stuff they were very concerned, gave me poison and offered to change the room. Since I demolished the gigantic cockroach I havenât seen any since but you have to remember that you are in Vangvieng, the insects are everywhere you can reduce the risk by keeping your door closed and keeping the light on
GGuest UserExcellent Stay at Kinton Hotel â Highly Recommended!
I had an amazing stay at Kinton Hotel. The place is packed with amenities and the service is truly top-notch. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, which made everything smooth and hassle-free.
One huge plus is their self-service laundry and dryer â super useful, especially if youâre doing outdoor activities or a longer trip. The food was quite good, and the cleanliness was exceptional. On the first day, our room was accidentally missed during cleaning, but they immediately sent someone up as soon as we let them know â great responsiveness.
I also booked via Trip.com, where it mentioned late checkout. The hotel honored that without hesitation, which I really appreciated.
For a city thatâs full of parties and adventures, itâs great to come back to a comfortable, clean, and calm hotel like this. The price is very reasonable for what you get â maybe even a bit more value than you pay for.
If youâre visiting Vang Vieng, I highly recommend staying here. đ
