While the Lobby and restaurant are very nice the hotel could really use and update. The hallways are dark and really outdated. The AC gets shut off every night so it is hard to sleep because the temp goes from cool to hot. Every day when the room was made up they cranked the temperature up so it was very hot after walking up 2 flights of stairs then up the hill to the hotel. The wifi was terrible, video would buffer every 45 sections if it ran at all. The staff was great though.

Un hotel che soddisfa pienamente le necessità del cliente. la stanza con parquet pulita, discretamente silenziosa per quel po' di traffico cittadino, letto comodo, bagno piccolo ma funzionale con doccia pulitissima, tutto di recente ristrutturazione. Colazione semplicemente meravigliosa e varia. Vengono riassortiti i tavoli continuamente con dolci diversi, dalla torta al cioccolato, alla torta della nonna, crostate, torte di mele e di pere, torta di carote, al grano saraceno e marmellata, cornetti, pancake, tutta la parte del salato dove non manca davvero nulla, insomma una grande sorpresa. portiere di notte, aperto H24. Il centro storico raggiungibile a piedi con passeggiata di una mezz'oretta in strada pianeggiante. E poi la cortesia del personale, hanno un sorriso e una parola per il cliente sempre. rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. super consigliato bravi

Hotel of choice for a family wedding - the American family was all here. Staff is outstanding and the rooms clean but quite tight even by local standards. Suitcases had to be completely unpacked and stored as no way to open except on the bed. We stayed 5 nights, breakfast exactly the same every day. Bonus was they had some GF options for our Celiac’s niece. Great proximity to the beach and the promenade. About 4km from the city center and it was walkable. Serviced by the circular bus very economically. The price was certainly right! All in all we would stay there again.

Booked for holidays confirmed at the last moment through a search engine and therefore blindly. Beautiful surprise to discover absolute adherence between booking and assigned room, and it is not something so obvious, trust me (real life ....). Very kind staff Absolute cleanliness. Excellent value for money. The breakfast is excellent: fresh milk in glass bottles (also of different types such as lactose-free, oats, etc); fresh yoghurt, in two versions, very good (in addition to the one in packaged jars) ; various juices; various jams; honey in dispensers + comb honey directly to eat; various cereals and seeds, including chocolate in rings; 4 types of seasonal fruit, in rotation, kiwi, watermelon, melon, fruit salad but not that in jars fresh, hand-cut, peaches; various cured meats; hard-boiled and scrambled eggs; breads of different shapes and types; various desserts, cakes, donuts, biscuits, brioches with different fillings as well as empty. Obviously, then bar service. For me, breakfast in the hotel it is my favorite meal and here it is very good. If I had to find a small flaw, considering that there would be genuine suppliers nearby (read peasants), if they also put fresh eggs that you can just blanch and eat by dipping the slices of toasted bread into them, thinly sliced. We highly recommend it and I think it will be our stop for all trips in the Marche region, when relatives and friends will not have the opportunity to host us

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per le vacanze estive. Situato in una posizione strategica, ci ha permesso di raggiungere in pochi minuti sia la spiaggia che il centro città. Pulizia ed ordine quotidiani sia nella camera che all'interno dell'hotel oltre a personale gentile e disponibile. Colazione sia dolce che salata con caffè fornito dal bar interno. L'hotel non ha un ristorante ma è convenzionato con Ciacco Bistrò, comunicante da una porta, nel quale è possibile cenare sia con formula mezza pensione (è aperto solo alla sera) sia con menù alla carta. Recensione più che positiva. Grazie di nuovo ed a presto!

The hotel is great! The location is excellent, the port is the seaside port, the back is the shopping pedestrian street, eat and drink! The interior of the hotel is decorated in a Mediterranean style, very beautiful and the rooms are very clean! The son was naughty and accidentally broke the flower pot at the front desk. Although the reception was speechless, it was still very friendly! Breakfast is relatively simple, but fruits, bread, cold cuts, coffee, etc. are enough for your belly! This hotel makes our impression of Ancona more beautiful and memorable!

The hotel would need to be restructured, not as a 4-star but rather a 2-half-star (three does not reach them). The staff, especially the reception staff, were very kind and kind to change the first-class room, which was at the last floor of a unique haircut. The hotel is located in a central location, near the sea and the historic centre. I wonder why not intervene by renewing the hotel?

The rooms at Hotel Fortuna are simple and basic - with a desk, bed & wardrobe. My room had a small balcony. The bathroom was decent-sized. For the price, it was worth it. Pros - directly opposite Ancona station. Stay here if you need to get to other destinations in the region by train. Connectivity to the old town is convenient with frequent bus services from the station. It is not walkable so you will need to take public transport. There is a coffee shop next door where you can buy bus tickets. - Polite staff who spoke English well. - Housekeeping did a good job. - Great water pressure which was nice and hot. No kettle in the room so used the hot water to make tea. - Comfortable bed and pillows Cons - Air conditioning was set to ‘Heat’ as it’s not yet summer. Visited in May so the room can get stuffy during the day unless you leave the balcony door open. - No kettle or mini fridge in the room. - The wifi was intermittent during my 2-night stay. - A single plug point near the bed. Carry a multi-plug adapter if you need to charge multiple devices. - Not much in the area for food. - Room keys are clunky and inconvenient to carry around.

If I could I would give it more than 5 stars. One of the best places I’ve stayed. Very clean, the Staff were so friendly and helpful. My spa treatment was amazing. The breakfast was incredible and there was so many options. My family also came to have a meal and they were very accommodating for a gluten free family member. The views were stunning. Me and my boyfriend had the best time and we can’t wait to come back sometime. Thank you so much ❤️

If I could I would give it more than 5 stars. One of the best places I’ve stayed. Very clean, the Staff were so friendly and helpful. My spa treatment was amazing. A truly wonderful experience. Friendly staff, very welcoming. Loved our room and facilities. Great Bistro with amasing views and a wide range of food and drink. Gi Gi, looked after us really well. Superb breakfast and waiters. Located close to the old city. If only all Italian Hotels were at this high standard. Many thanks Guys, loved our stay.

La struttura è molto bella esternamente ed il personale alla reception garbato. La nota dolente sono le stanze, almeno quella che è stata riservata e che ho prenotato ad un prezzo davvero conveniente. Quando si entra si percepisce subito che non ci si trova pienamente in un hotel a 4 stelle. Mobilio essenziale, scarno, tv datata e di dimensioni pari ad un monitor di computer, pulizia buona ma non eccezionale, camera doppia con un solo cuscino aggiuntivo anziché due, indispensabili per la qualità e la consistenza di quelli in ”dotazione” che sono davvero sottili, termosifone del bagno lasciato chiuso. In compenso la stanza era molto ben riscaldata. Insomma se fosse un 2 stelle sarebbe ottimo, per un 3 stelle sarebbe adeguato, ma per un 4 stelle non ci siamo, bisogna adeguarsi. Colazione senza lode e senza infamia.

Clean comfortable rooms, with a balcony, and a bathroom window that opens. Excellent breakfast buffet: you can eat Italian style with small sweets and prosciutto, or American style with eggs and bacon, or both. Parking is a challenge at dinnertime or when there is a special event in the restaurant, but the hotel sent someone out front to direct people to parking places whenever it was crowded, rather than leaving us to fend for ourselves. The only problem I had is that each room is only on a 6-amp circuit (1300 watts) -- if you bring a hair dryer or a pot to boil water for tea in your room, you WILL blow the fuse, and get to tell the front desk and ask how to reset it.

The Ego hotel is situated in an easily accessible area with good easy parking facilities. The hotel itself is very reasonable for what it offers, very clean and a great spa to unwind. Above all the staff are very helpful, especially Simona!!

Everything was perfect but cleaning ladies have to speak not that high, they speak to each other from room to room wich I don’t mind but not that loud , there was one cleaning lady that was on the phone all the time speaking loudly

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. The room is spacious, clean, well-accessored and with a bathroom, certainly at the height. Parking very small and with an input that is accessible for a ”small” SUV only by making the mirrors back; it would not be a problem if the outside allowed parking, but where you want to park, you must use a private parking quite far. Not surely negative is the noise. The traffic of the Matteotti road is clearly noticeable even at night, but the same noise in the room and room is not at the height; at 7.00 of the morning I am weaked with the neighbor's wake; wakeed, however, set on ”vibration” and not on ”sound”.

Eravamo in 4 e la struttura ci ha proposto una sistemazione in camere doppie comunicanti che si è rivelata ottima. Ogni camera è spaziosissima, dotata di ampi letti, superfici di appoggio, aria condizionata regolabile. Purtroppo non dò 5/5 perché ho trovato i bagni troppo démodé. A mio avviso andrebbero rivisti perché stonano rispetto al resto della stanza. La doccia dotata solo di soffione è davvero scomoda così come la forma del lavandino. E l'altra nota stonata è la colazione. Vi prego, sostituite quelle macchinette per il caffè con un servizio bar! Sono inadeguate, hanno bisogno di manutenzione, si bloccano di continuo! Abbiamo notato in sala la presenza di un solo signore che da solo si occupa di sparecchiare, rimpinguare il buffet, sbloccare la macchinetta e ovviamente non riesce materialmente a stare dietro a tutto. Molto spesso i tavoli vengono ripuliti con ritardo. Sarebbe opportuno prevedere almeno due persone per il servizio anche perché l'hotel è grande e la sala colazione è sempre piena. Inoltre sarebbe opportuno prevedere sempre alternative senza lattosio per gli ospiti intolleranti. L' hotel è dotato di ampio parcheggio esterno e posti al coperto spaziosi che prevedono il pagamento di un supplemento. Ampia hall. Con qualche miglioria l'hotel potrebbe diventare un 4 stelle perchè ha tantissimo potenziale. Ps: state attenti alle indicazioni di google maps perché non riesce a rilevare agevolmente la struttura, noi ci abbiamo messo un po' a individuarla.

We stayed at the Ghibli hotel for a couple of days. The hotel was very clean, modern and comfortable. Quite luxurious. Our room had a nice ocean view. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great beach access. Overall an excellent stay and highly recommended.

We booked 2 nights in Life Hotel, expecting a 4 star experience reflected in the cost - €150 per night including breakfast. It fell well below our expectations, worst of all being dinner in the restaurant on the night of our arrival. The real positive of our stay was the breakfast and the staff working at that time - they were wonderful. Our room was comfortable but lacked anything that could be considered 'deluxe' - apart from the fancy lighting system perhaps and a really good shower. The bed was comfortable. A large balcony in our room had 2 upright chairs and a coffee table with an ashtray - more relaxing furniture would have made it a place where you could chill out, watching the sea. There was no such zone to be found anywhere in the hotel. The lowest point was dinner - don't order the hummus as it's a tiny portion and not hummus at all but puree chickpeas with not even a hint of tahini. I ordered fish - branzino gratinato - it was terrible, could have been frozen but was definitely over-cooked. My husband had ravioli most of which was uneaten as it was like cardboard. The side of vegetables was also a sorry affair and went back almost untouched. All of which drew no comment from the waiter - service was perfunctory at best. When we complained to the reception staff they smiled and nodded, nothing more. And then on check out, I was informed that there was an extra charge for parking in the hotel garage - it was the first time I'd heard of the charge and in a hotel asking €150 per night I would have expected it to be included. The spa is also extra, by the way. So, if you're looking for 4-star standards look elsewhere. (we had a fabulous meal in hotel Bianchi Nicola on our second day).

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. Since we stayed from Monday to Friday, the hotel had very few guests. Since the days were hot, we spent many relaxed hours in the different pools in the spa. The buildings have been rennovated with very good taste, maintaining the traditional stone exterior walls. On our first night, the AC was not working. Since it could not be repaired, we got upgraded to a Suite room which was like a dream. The Suite rooms are very stylish with high ceilings and an extra bed where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Our room also had a steam bath and a private entry to the spa. The breakfast, snacks and drinks from the Bistro and the restaurant are all reasonably good. For me, the highlight was the extremely friendly staff who were very helpful. The Indian staff also made me feel especially at home.

I have been coming to this hotel pre-pandemic for 6 years. It is Gem ! The owner is a renowed chef that has cooked for many celebrities including the king of jordan, the Prince of Monaco , Ronaldo , Vieri , etc.. The food is not only excellent but is surprisely affordable . In fact i was surprised to find out that it is cheaper than restaurants along the lungomare. The rooms are very nice and very confortable and very clean. The staff is the same as the one pre-pandemic and that tells me that they took care of their staff during those difficult times. A gem on the Marche!!!
