I had a very nice stay. Clean everywhere. My room was perfect for just me. I didn’t need cleaning everyday and they were very accommodating. Air conditioning worked beautifully. Thank you staff for a nice experience 🫡

Located quite far from Kuta Beach but grab is always available. Near the Mall, and there's convenience store just a few steps away. Facilities is good, the pool is great. the gym is under repair. The room is okay, it seems old and not well-maintained since signs are evident.  Wifi is not strong in my room which is located in second floor.  staff are really great. Price is a bit high compared to other hotel.

Great location for shopping and lots of restaurants nearby. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was ok in terms of size but more space for putting up wet swimming suits are needed. One very unpleasant experience was that there was no clean up for our room in the last night of our stay. We certainly put up the clean-up sign. At that night we have to call for bath towels and drinking water (the hotel does not recommend to use tap water, even after boiling. They provide two large bottles of drinking water instead). To make it even worse, they didn’t bring anything to us until I made another call 20 minutes later. And still, I asked for two towels and they just gave me one (we are a family of four).

Dear Mr. Manager, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional hospitality extended to us during our recent stay at Stark Hotel. Every member of your team, from the reception staff to the concierge, waiters, and housekeeping, was extraordinarily professional and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well-cared for. The level of service was truly outstanding, and I would rate it a perfect 5/5 without hesitation. I would also like to personally acknowledge individuals such as Serina, the kind gentleman at the café, and the housekeeping team. Their dedication and warmth made our stay even more special and memorable. That said, I’d like to bring to your attention a minor concern. While I understand that the local humidity can occasionally lead to pests, we did notice the presence of a few roaches during our stay. I consider this a very small issue, but one worth mentioning. As my family owns several hotel chains in Malaysia, I truly understand the importance of maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards, particularly when it comes to pest control. This is not as a criticism, but as a suggestion for improvement, as I genuinely care about the continued success and growth of the hospitality industry. Stark Hotel is a stunning property with a unique and elegant design, and it holds immense potential. With continued attention to cleanliness and detail, I am confident that the hotel will solidify its place as a premier destination in Kuta, Bali, and continue to exceed the expectations of discerning guests. I wholeheartedly recommend Stark Hotel to anyone and look forward to seeing its continued success and excellence. Mikh Tan Sri Goh

I recently stayed at Ayana resort in Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The resort’s private beach provided a serene and exclusive escape, allowing me to relax without crowds. The breathtaking seaside views were simply mesmerizing, especially during sunrise and sunset—truly picture-perfect moments! The rooms were incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. Waking up to the sound of the waves was a dream. The resort’s overall ambiance was peaceful and luxurious, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. Whether you’re looking for a romantic retreat or a tranquil vacation, I highly recommend Ayana resort. I can’t wait to return!

It was a very lovely resort, huge & had lots of activities. Very friendly/polite workers. They gave welcoming drinks and string bracelets (consist of 3 elements; The red element symbolizes creativity and bravely, the black element symbolizes powerful and protected us from bad spirit and white element symbolizes spirituality and goodness). They gave fruit platter in room. I accidentally missed a step on the front fountain at the entrance steps on my way out walking, twisted my ankle badly on the first day. My husband asked for an ice pack & they gave us a bucket of ice. That was lovely. Need to focus on cleanliness especially on bathroom - showers (slight molds) and bathtubs (painted on - in the first room before they moved us closer to our son. The paint was peeling off as we filled bathtub with water. The bathtub was slippery in the second room, my son fell in & hurt his back & hips. They managed to find me a room so that I could be together with my son (adjoining room) but the air conditioning was not working. I asked them for at least portable AC but they only gave us a pedestal fan. Gym was very tiny, not balance as there are over 500 rooms in the complex. Plus, lack of monitoring, water dispenser is empty. The squash balls aren’t pumped so it doesn’t bounce at all. Porter need to be extra careful when pushing trolley cart, I got struck with it from the back so hard. I injured myself but he didn’t mean it, he was very apologetic. Therefore we decided to checkout one day early, even though we paid for it. I asked for lunch as a swap and paid the difference since we won’t be around for the next day breakfast (due to early checkout) but not possible but instead they did prepare & pack-up breakfast boxes in advance. That was lovely of them.

Overall, everything about our stay was good. The place is clean, the service was great, and the location is convenient. However, one big issue we experienced was the noise during early morning check-ins. On our last two days, we were woken up by extremely loud shouting and guests (and staff) banging luggage around the hallways. I’m usually not someone who complains about noise, but this was excessive and unnecessary. We even had to open our door and ask them to please keep it down. It would really improve the experience if there was more consideration for guests who are already resting.

We had a wonderful honeymoon stay at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. The property is absolutely stunning—grand architecture, lush gardens, and a serene atmosphere that made us feel truly relaxed from the moment we arrived. Our room had a semi-private pool, which added a special touch of privacy and luxury to our stay. The staff surprised us with a honeymoon cake and welcome drinks, which made us feel extra celebrated and cared for. Breakfast had a great variety, and we were especially happy to find delicious Indian options available—something we didn’t expect, but really appreciated! Service was professional and warm throughout. It’s a superb property for couples looking to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the beauty of Bali in a 5-star setting. Highly recommended!

The room is spacious, visually appealing but somewhat shabby, with an unpleasant odor, and some furniture is in need of replacement. The private pool is amazing—clean and inviting—where curious squirrels, birds, and lizards can be observed from the balcony. Cleaning procedures might be reviewed, as certain details are overlooked, such as a filthy smart toilet pipe. The service staff are wonderfu, polite, and hard working. Outdoors are fantastic, featuring three swimming pools, lush greenery, and a private beach equipped with plenty of sunbeds, bars, and restaurants. A short 7-8 minute walk takes you to the open market, 'Bali Collection', which offers a variety of dining options.

NnasifahOur room was very nice and we had a comfortable stay, however the rest of the hotel is in need of TLC. We only stayed one night so was ideal for a place to sleep but not recommended as a long stay as very remote and hotel lacks the facilities. Our room was very nice and we had no issues so I would stay again.

LLadySoulI had a great stay and experience at the Holiday Inn Resort. I arrived exhausted, sore & with the “Bali Belly” from my busy week in Ubud. The lovely lady at the reception immediately picked up on my state upon arrival. I appreciated her inquiring about what was wrong and her sympathy. The hotel also offered me complimentary ginger, turmeric, honey & lemon tea several times for the issue with my stomach. I found a gecko in my room. They tried to get it out but failed. They instead upgraded my room and moved me to a gecko free room. I really appreciated that gesture. The spa was equally amazing. I was met with friendly smiling staff all day long around the hotel. I loved the breakfast and the beach views. Thank you so much Holiday Inn for making my last few days in Bali Amazing. Don’t hesitate to book it!

EEkaterinathis hotel is very budget and better than some five-star hotels, very clean room, super view from the window, friendly staff, nice pool. There are many cafes and shops nearby. I really liked the location of the air conditioner, it does not blow on your head and there is no dampness in the room, this is a real salvation in Bali! Breakfasts are normal, for such a price I would even say excellent!

GGuest UserA very disappointing stay at this hotel. Issues started at check in and continued throughout our stay . Our family booked 5 rooms at the Alam KUL KUL and we all had issues with facilities and getting any action taken to address them . To start we visited the hotel in mid November 2023 to enquire about late checkout when we stayed in February 2024. The hotel reception were very pleasant in November and guaranteed that late checkout was easy and it was a great rate of 550.000 . The reception staff said that they had added the late checkout to our booking. When we arrived in February everything was different. First the reception staff questioned that we had visited in November and that we did not have late checkout added to our booking. They insisted that we name the hotel staff who we had spoken with in November. After much discussion we had the late checkout added but staff were less than friendly. Then they insisted we pay the extra money straight away. We said no problem but then my wife’s wise card wouldn’t work in their payment machine and staff kept insisting that the wrong pin was being entered. My wife had been using the card for the last 7 days in Bali with no issues. So I then gave them my wise card and was surprised when it wouldn’t work in their machine either. I also had been using my card daily in Bali with no issues. After much further discussion with hotel reception they said that we could pay at check out. We had already pre paid for all 5 rooms prior to this. On the day of checkout I received a request to contact reception as they had no records of us asking for late checkout. During several WhatsApp messages from reception they said that we had refused to pay for the late checkout and that we had stated that we would get it free. I was absolutely disappointed to receive these messages and we had never stated anything about free late checkout. The reception staff continued sending messages that were completely false statements. In reflection I think that the staff were trying to cover up the poor service lack of professionalism that they lacked. This were only a few of the small issues that arose during our stay . Our daughter and family had a mouse running around their room and it took staff 3 days to come and look at the room. There was never any offer to change rooms. Another family group had their air conditioning not working and it took 3 days for the hotel to address that issue . My wife ordered drinks during happy hour at the garden pool and when the bill came they wanted to charge full price and their staff stated that my wife had ordered room service! She was locked out of our room at the time because the electronic key kept failing. On 3 separate occasions I asked to speak with the hotel manager to see if we could get better communication and service. Unfortunately the manager was always unavailable, so can only assume that is where the problem starts . Too important or don’t care about hotel guests. Most of the hotels staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant staff. The Alam is a very old property in a very good location. The rooms have been renovated and beds are comfortable. After visiting Bali about 16 times and staying in many different hotels and villas this was our most disappointing stay in Bali. It’s a shame that the small issues kept coming and that the hotel were either trying to cover up or complacent about.

AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
