Great location next to a mall and train station, making it very convenient to access stores and groceries. The city center, including museums and art galleries, is all within walking distance. The unlimited breakfast was a classic hotel spread and quite good, with unlimited coffee and juice to start the day right.
The environment is really good, the room is relatively large, the hygiene is good, clean and quiet, the facilities are a bit old, and some things are not complete. Overall it's good, recommended
It's my first visit and I'm absolutely amazed of the food and service. The views from my room were stunning, overlooking the Marina and the staff have been really kind and helpful. I will definitely book this hotel for my next trip to Hull. Highly recommend!
I booked a hotel for a friend. I heard that the corridor was designed with nine twists and eighteen bends. After four doors, it was not easy to find the room. The rooms are ok, there are Chinese supermarkets around.
As soon as we entered our room we were met with an awful smell and a damp stained carpet. We asked for another room but were told there was nothing available. A member of staff did look at the room and agreed the smell was bad but said they couldn’t give us a refund as we hadn’t booked directly through them. So it was more or less ‘take it or leave it’, there was no apology or even a food discount offered. Although the room and bed were clean the stay was not comfortable due to the smell, nobody should have been put in that room until it is sorted out. Due to the rudeness of one particular young member of staff we decided not to eat there.
The staff at the hotel was really lovely and the location was good. That's about it on the good things.
It was really not worth the price, poor cheap bedding, messy floors, I wouldn't dare putting my clothes in the wardrobe either, really smudged bathroom and lack of soap and other amenities. I stayed there one night which was ok but would definitely consider a different spot next time around.
A great hotel. A huge, clean room. However, it was let down a little with only 5 TV channels, no towel rails (so had to hang wet towels on door handles), no hooks anywhere. No mirror near a shelf or table top (which meant I had to plug my curling tongs in and leave them on the floor next to the only mirror). It’s a shame as it could have been brilliant

I was surprised to given a triple room which is a big room. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The place is quiet. Self check in and check out with queuing make the process fast and convenient.
The location is near town and the train station. It is near many eating places. There are many shops for shopping too

VVaughanSarahMet by friendly and courteous staff at reception. Room was clean, and View was nice from the room. The shower was terrible! Luke warm at the hottest temperature and freezing when you turned the temperature any other way. We ordered food from the qr code for room service because my daughter wasn’t feeling very well, but waited over an hour and it never came. I tried to ring down for about 20 mins but no one answered the phone. I went down to reception and spoke to the lady who was very apologetic and explained that the app never works, if this is the case perhaps the hotel should remove the codes from the room and replace with a traditional room service menu instead! The lady on reception did all she could to rectify the problem and seemed to be used to this happening. Unfortunately because I had to wait so long for room service( was just meant to be a snack) I missed out on using the facilities so can’t really comment but they did look good . Breakfast was fantastic I have to say, well cooked and lots of choice, serve yourself which I enjoyed.

MMarie-Ange MignotThe mattress was horrendous, the carpet very old and stained and didn't feel clean, and the bathroom had some odd holes in the wall but was otherwise clean. It's bang central location wise, had convenient (paying) parking and is cheap. The one plus is the sound barrier doors which pretty much blocked out all noise from the busy road next to it.
GGuest UserI was just disappointed of the initial checkin as I got in my room my request was never made. Very simple. I ask the 2 single beds to be combined to make it bigger. But nope.
The late checkouts despite of willing to pay extra was just as it is. I could pay an extra night if I have to if they said so but no.
We were from night shift of work and finished at 7 am that we got to the hotel at 7:30 and after breakfast few minutes of rest then we slept off. We got a call at 11 telling us about the checkout and told them I have already asked for the late checkout for extra charges but its only for 2 hours. Nothing more. The attendant started banging the door telling us to checkout as she needed to changed the sheets and so on and so for. We find it really rude.

WWhiteJohnWonderful experience stay at that castle. We had dinner in the courtyard for a very reasonable price consider the food was of great quality. The health club had great facilities including a reasonable sized gym decent sized pool / jacuzzi. We would definitely stay there again as the location was great. The only minor complaint we would have is that the room was a bit cold but it is late January.
