The hotel's facilities, hygiene and service are all very good, although the facilities are a bit old. What satisfied us most was its restaurant. Breakfast and lunch are buffets, and dinner is a la carte. The service is also very good and not expensive. Because of this restaurant, we stay here when we pass by Quito and are very satisfied.

Shadian Airport is very close. It only takes 5 minutes. The bus departs every 20 minutes. It is very convenient and fast. The driver is very diligent and helps carry luggage. However, it is very slow to check in at the hotel. It takes 20 minutes to queue to get into the room. I am very tired from flying. , and I’m hungry, so it’s really not good to wait too long. But the massage was very good! 👍The food is also good! 👍

On the first day of check-in, I was a little disappointed that the front desk staff had a general attitude towards the room facilities. I was going to change the hotel the next day, but it was surprising that the front desk manager and the staff on duty that day reflected the pick-up fee for the hotel arrangement I mentioned earlier and gave a solution, which made me change the idea of changing the hotel. These were impressive.

Absolute five-star praise, 15 minutes from the airport, 40 minutes from the city, the hotel will pick up and drop off the plane for free. The hotel is located in the suburbs and the surrounding environment is excellent. The garden in the hotel is a bird watching holy place with more than 30 kinds of rare birds. Hotel facilities are good, service is good, suitable for business travel, meetings.

The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care. The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for. If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. OoyaaaPaid airport shuttle per trip but they put someone else on difference flight/time together and let us wait/late 15mins without telling why. This is wrong. This problem should be fix easily by telling the day before and ask if we ok to wait another person. If pp miss the flight, i dont see this place will responsible for the air tickets and other costs. What if pp on biz class flight and miss the plane? Would hotel pay thousands dollars for customer? Think about it and be Professional! Just use the Google translate and explain to customer before the day!! Hot water got problem, half an hour to fixed.

GGuest UserVery satisfied hotel. From Galapagos back to Quito, it is so happy to rest here. Mingdu is a world-class cloud rainforest, a holy place for bird shooting. So choose to live in his home, the online evaluation is worthy of the name. Clean and tidy, well-equipped and beautiful environment. Sitting on the balcony, you can shoot birds. We chose to have dinner at his house. The two little girls were good at cooking and the price was reasonable. The handsome Angel took the initiative to help us carry our luggage to the room upstairs, and introduced us to the professional teacher who took the bird. We got the parachute bird and the big beak bird. And the hawk. Very lucky.

CCarmyBreakfast was tasty and with a beautiful view. Our room was one of the nicest rooms that’s we’ve stayed in while travelling South America. It was the comfiest bed and the room had a well-designed interior. The staff are friendly and welcoming. At night it’s recommended to get taxis to where you need to go while in the day it’s fine to walk around this unesco world heritage site area. 100% recommend to stay here for a few nights if you have time.

GGuest UserThere was a leak in my bathroom that almost ruined my personal cleaning items. The room they gave me was in front of the stairs and it was always noisy with people talking loud. The bottom of the toilet was disgusting. The person that welcomed me was the only one I cold day was efficient. I left the hotel this morning when I was supposed to leave tomorrow. That is how bad I felt there.
