We chose this hotel because of its central location near the main train station and the old town.
The furnishings are a bit old, but they are perfectly fine, intact and absolutely clean.
We were always given a friendly welcome and advice.
We missed a few more loungers in the sauna area, but that doesn't affect our opinion. We can recommend this hotel and would book it again.
Breakfast is very good The bed is very large So we don't have an extra bed, it is suitable for children to travel. The hotel is very close to the small town center, there is free parking, but parking outside is also free, very convenient. Breakfast is very good, there is a feeling of South Germany, I like it very much. Although there are not many breakfast items, but each has, and there is a super high-end blood sausage! Very good, like
The hotel was super and also the reception and service. In the rooms I personally missed a water cooker with some tea or coffee. Otherwise it was super. Breakfast buffet was very rich. It is something there and also very rich. What maybe should be checked more often at breakfast is the juice machine. There was constantly the juice empty, only coloured water came. The glasses at the coffee machine should also be filled faster. I would stay there anytime again.
This was our second time at the BB in Dessau, a great location, right in the city. Restaurants and shopping centers within walking distance. Breakfast was adequate. Great value for money. One small drawback: the reception is closed from 1pm to 5pm and you can check in online. All you need is your name and a booking number. This doesn't work if you booked through a portal. Luckily for us, someone from the staff was kind enough to help.

The sauna costs €6.50 because of the increased energy costs. It would be OK if it was included in the booking and the infrared cabin worked.
The breakfast food is nothing special.
Well, I got a roll that was from the day before.
The breakfast service is friendly, but they wander around aimlessly. They walk past tables that need clearing, preferring to clean tables or set them instead of refilling food and drinks. You stood in front of a half-empty buffet, even water bottles were not replaced.
The room was simply furnished and the bed was comfortable.
If you wanted a made bed and the trash can emptied, you had to hand in a card at reception.
Only then did you get room service.
The room itself was clean, but the cleaning lady apparently didn't know the corners of the ceiling and floor because there were cobwebs there. After I asked them to remove them, they got rid of them.

GGuest UserCheck-in OK, Room Bath ( 202 ) resident, dressed, bath dressed ( fungus in the furnace/douche, roasting sticks on the floor), breakfast room (cafe machine sheet) very pecky, staff in the breakfast room came to the time of impact against 9.30Uhr hardly Back to keep the buffet up. There is still a total potential. For one night just OK. Conditionally recommended.

SSimon001001The perfect location in central Wernigerode for your stay. An easy walk to the castle, the steam Brockenbahn and the main railway station from here, as well as all the local cafes and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful, although little to no English is spoken here, so brush up on your German before travelling. Breakfast is plentiful and first class, the rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms and there is a fridge in each room. WiFi is excellent. I'll be staying here again on my next trip to Wernigerode.
KKanako TakayamaThe electricity supply fell three times at night when I mean, I wanted to make water cookers. The lights were out, the frigo was out, the PC was the only device I used. There is no foen or microwave? Also, the pension network system did not work at my check-in and I paid the fee in cash for one night even though the travel website had already cashed it. Raetcelled?

SSusanPerfect for a one night stop when travelling by rail. We were able to leave our bags at reception in the morning as we arrived early which was great. The room was fine with a bathroom bigger than the bedroom ! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Helpful staff when we checked in and out.
OOlgaIt was warm, cosy room. They put a bed story next to your bed. That was cute. The story relates to the name of the hotel. Wonderful!!!
It is next to the central city Christmas market!!! You can feel the Christmas in the air!!! It is 15 minutes from station, easy to find. Delicious breakfast. Everyone was so friendly!
OOlgaDelicious breakfast! Friendly people at the reception. Beautiful view from the window of the room! Warm inside 😁
Beautiful yard of the hotel! You can see the castle!!!Amazing!!! Not far from Christmas market!!! I like it very much!!!
GGuest UserStayed four nights October, Hannes who worked in bar was by far the best member of staff so a big thank you to him for his fantastic service and advise he made our trip so much easier, as for hotel, bathrooms could do with a refurb and beds no so comfortable, food was excellent.
