The hotel has a great location, very close to all major transportation hubs! The room was a bit small, but perfectly adequate. However, with two 28-inch suitcases, it felt a bit cramped and there wasn't much room to maneuver. Since I arrived late in the evening, I snapped a quick photo of the beautiful night view from my window! The breakfast spread was excellent, featuring bread, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, and fruits. My only suggestion is to add some vegetables, hopefully, that can be improved in the future. Overall, I was very satisfied! I'm returning on September 1st for another two-day stay.
Four Points Truly Deserves the High Rating!
Had a really pleasant stay here. The room was spotless and smelled fresh, and the bathroom worked perfectly—none of those annoying plumbing issues you sometimes find in other hotels.
While the view from my room was average, you can easily upgrade to a Sky Tower view for just a little more. The breakfast was great, you can even build your own Big Breakfast, which definitely helps save around $30 compared to eating out. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank, Four Points is an easy choice. Highly recommended!
Location is very convenient for tour pickups (which is usually at sky city), they are connected by an indoor bridge. We got a free upgrades and fruits on arrival with a handwritten welcome card.
It's an ordinary hotel 20 minutes walk from the airport. The price is testy, it is not worth its money. Only chose it because of the overnight layover in Auckland. Really pissed off that there is no comforter cover - the comforter is between two sheets. So if you want to lie on your side, the bottom sheet can shift and then you will touch the body of the dirty blanket. The hotel for this price should buy a duvet cover with zipper or buttons because using sheets is horrible! It was not comfortable for me as a customer.
We booked a room with two double beds. The hotel's location near the Sky Tower is excellent, with plenty of shops and attractions within easy walking distance. We particularly recommend the pharmacy/drugstore directly across the street – it's a great spot to stock up on lanolin products and other essentials, as Auckland's prices were surprisingly reasonable. We later found that similar large, well-priced stores were hard to come by during our trip to Queenstown on the South Island.
Breakfast, while not offering a vast selection, was delicious, and the dining environment was very pleasant. A note for drivers: the hotel doesn't have its own parking, and nearby public parking is quite expensive. If you're planning to rent a car for a road trip, we suggest doing so only on the day you depart for your next city.
We highly recommend staying here. When we booked through Trip.com, it initially showed breakfast for two people, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was included for all four of us, covered by the room rate. I'm not entirely sure how Trip.com's system works regarding that detail, but it was a bonus! We definitely recommend this hotel.
A clean and trendy hotel located at Upper Queen Street. The hotel has a gym, massage and an Italian restaurant downstairs. Staff were friendly. Convenience stores, bars and late night restaurants on Karangahape Road were around the corner. The core CBD was only an approximately 15-20 mins walk. Recommend!
had to book a lastmin overnight stay due to flight delay. Can take yellow bus or an Uber to the hotel. Price is the same if you are 2 adults. Note that no supermarket near the hotel but the restaurant inside is surprisingly good and affordable. No complaint.
Room is just standard and clean.
Wow wow wow. We were amazed at our time here. We were not expecting such quality from an airport hotel. The room was lovely and modern with a great view. The most spectacular part was the hotel restaurant 10/10. The food was glorious. We had just come in from 18hours of travel. Dinner was out of this world. If you stay here the restaurant is well worth the added expense.
Loved this hotel! If you’re ever in Auckland and you’re not sure where to stay, I really recommend this hotel!
Clean bathroom, clean room, has all the basic amenities and walking distance to eateries as well as the harbour + sky tower :)
Great service and staff were all really friendly! I appreciate the hospitality and thank you for reserving the car parking for my family and I :)
This hotel was a lovely place for us to rest after our adventures outside Auckland. They greeted us with warm cookies upon check in, and were so sweet and nice throughout our stay. They even let us check out late when we were running behind on the last day.
Breakfast was delicious and had lots of great options. Amenities were clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel is a bit far from downtown Auckland, which made for quite a bit of driving, but overall was not a huge issue. The hotel was right next to the highway so at least you could hop on and off pretty easily. Overall a comfortable and quiet place for use to relax after long days- we’d stay here again!

ZZahwah B.Park Hyatt was exquisite! Room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a stylish, extravagant stay in Auckland.
XXiaoliangxuechangThe hotel boasts an elegant ambiance, well-equipped facilities, and attentive, thoughtful service, ensuring guests feel incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with soft, plush bedding, making for an exceptional stay. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, with delicious options that cater to diverse tastes. Its prime location offers convenient transportation, with an abundance of attractions and dining options nearby. The staff are warm, friendly, and highly responsive; their meticulous and exceptionally detailed service is truly impressive. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this place is an excellent choice! The value for money is outstanding; it's truly worth every penny, and I highly recommend it to every traveler! I look forward to staying here again to experience this warmth and professionalism once more!

GGuest UserThe location is quite good and the room is large and bright. The car can park just outside the room.
But there is no space to put the clothing in the toilet. We cannot watch TV since it relies on wifi and the signal is very poor. We have 4 ppl but only 3 can connect wifi. My access card cannot work and no one at reception can help even I waited for 10 minutes. Luckily I met a housekeeper who can assist me.
GGuest UserHave stayed here before and find it the best value for a place to stay overnight close to the airport with a free shuttle. Reception staff pleasant on arrival and departure. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast but looks nice. Would stay here again if the price remains lower than other options.
TTaylor Alicia JosephineBeing in town for an overnight staycation with attending to Auckland Cabaret Festival event, I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Marsden Viaduct Hotel. My room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony view and bubble bath to pamper in as highlights. Within close walking distance to bars, restaurants and a captivating vista of the viaduct, it’s a wonderful way to feel elsewhere on holiday whilst being in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
GGuest UserPhoned in for help. VERY kind, patient and helpful. Stayed on the line until I said we were okay.
Valet Service: Excellent in every way.
Concierge: thorough and thoughtful. Made moving from car, to book-in area to the room very simple.
Booking In: polite, efficient, friendly.
Room itself: magnificent!! View: Awesome!
Overall: Staying at SkyCity made our Ak visit stress-less and easy. I’ll be doing this all again, hopefully it will be very soon!! Thank you to all. 😊

AAnonymous UserWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location near the CBD was convenient, the accommodations were clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
AAnonymous UserThere's no bell boy to assist guest upon arrival and even up to the room. Basically this hotel is ”self-service” hotel. From carrying the luggages upon arrival to the room and out of the room (check out). You have to do it all by yourself by taking the trolley and upload those luggages on to it and bring it to your room. The same applies when you want to check out.
Some of the reception staff are not friendly upon welcoming guest to the hotel. Upon our arrival at around 3pm (NZD time) , the reception staff seems not happy in welcoming us. When we asked them why there's no one to assist us on the luggages (5 luggages), and their response was ”they never assist anyone beyond the double entrance glass door”. We were so suprise with their response
To be fair, there are other staff [the chef, manager and other reception staff that was on night duty (other than the one assisted us upon our arrival)] are very kind and friendly. They are happy to assist us whenever we have issue during our stay and they go beyond their duty by sharing a lot of tourism information which was very useful to us as tourist in Auckland, NZ.
