Hotels With bar in Gelderland, Netherlands

We had a Velvet Wellness King room (506) and it was incredible. It was on the top floor, we had a balcony, whirlpool bath (amazing) AND our own sauna in our room! We arrived early to the hotel, and asked if they could keep hold of our bags so we could go and explore, but our room was ready early! The hotel is gorgeous - right opposite Arnhem Centraal. I was staying with my teenage son for a concert at the Gelredome and it was perfectly place - 5 minutes in an Uber, or a 35 minute straight walk. We would love to stay here again!

Location was excellent, only 2 mins walk from Arnhem Central Station. The room was quite spacious and clean, amenities were barely adequate but considering the rate I was paying, the hotel was one of the best pick in that area

Decent sized room, reasonably priced. Although we didn’t have dinner there (attending a concert which ended much later than the dinner service), the option was available. Comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom had a generous sized walk in shower (very easily accessible for visitors with limited mobility. Although other guests had alleged issues regarding the renovation works, we were fortunate that this didn’t affect our stay. The hotel appears to have taken onboard earlier reviews mentioning tired decor - we can attest to the fact that the hotel are implementing some significant improvements. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would love the opportunity to return and see more of the area.

We stayed here for a concert in the Gelredome. We found the location great for our purposes - only 20 mins walk from the station and under 40 mins walk from the stadium (although we are admittedly fast walkers!). The room was a really good size, comfortable beds and very clean. The staff were wonderful, some of the most cheerful and friendly we've met, and spoke very fluent English. We would definitely stay here if we came to Arnhem again :)

My week spent at the Hotel Pauw was good. It was located in the city of Nijmegen and was within walking distance of groceries and shops. It is very accessible to Primark, TKmax and other branded shops. The room was spotless. The only downside of this hotel is the poor and unstable Wi-Fi connection, and there was no room dining service. Although you can order food delivery, they did not allow it to be delivered to your room.

Parking is quite expensive, which is expected for a city center location. The breakfast selection is also limited. My biggest complaint is the lack of soundproofing; I could hear conversations from the next room as if they were right beside me. On the bright side, they clearly prioritize cleanliness, which is a big plus. There are plenty of dining options and a supermarket nearby, thanks to its proximity to the central train station.

What a nice hotel with good facilities. I slept here with a friend because it is near Royal Park Live in the gardens of Soestdijk Palace. Ideal! The superior room had good beds, a spacious bathroom, a table to have breakfast at, a mini fridge for our drinks, a TV, air conditioning and a small outdoor area. We also used the wellness area of ​​the hotel (sauna, steam cabin and showers) and there is an indoor swimming pool. The lunch at the hotel was also very successful and we were able to park our car for free. All in all, highly recommended!

Love it. I was assigned to a nearby job visit. This hotel was initially not easy due to the construction going on that blocked the direction that google map suggested, but it was manageable. There is Lidl near by and a shop for dinner or lunch nearby too. There is a bus that is easily access which will bring u to the city center, so making it easy to get back to the hotel too.

Front desk staff was courteous and professional. The corner room on the ninth floor had a great view. Open bathroom is a little strange and toilet is extremely small. Compared to other van der Valk properties this one ranks much lower than others. Very slow internet, little choice of TV stations, no streaming services etc.
