"Nothing but good things to say about the Bedrock Hotel. We were actually across the road from the hotel itself as we had one of the junior suites, which are in a newly refurbished building. The suites are fabulous, they are very roomy and very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The bathroom itself was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have had recently and the thoughtful addition of a water filter that provides hot, cold or ambient water to order was priceless. The suites do not have kitchenettes (although they do have a small fridge) they do have a coffee machine, cups, cutlery, plates, bowls and even wine glasses in the same cabinet as the fridge, all of which came in very useful. The bed was also super comfortable and the AC worked well too. We had originally tried to book in the Old Town itself but there was limited availability, the Bedrock was a great second choice, as it was just a short 10 to 15 minute walk away and the breakfast was great too."

"Small hotel located away from main road. room behind can sometimes hear the school kids from the nearby school but it's not an issue as it gets quiet pretty fast. room are big, clean, firm bed, aircond cooling . No frill but a good place to come back to rest after a full day out. Front desk team very efficient & friendly."

AAnonymous UserWe had a wonderful stay! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was superb comfortable, clean and well maintained. It’s a perfect place to escape from the busy work routine, unwind and release all the stress and tension from the office. I truly enjoyed the relaxing environment and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing and peaceful getaway. Would love to stay here again!

AAnonymous UserLove the hot spring facilities offered by the hotel, especially when you get to enjoy a private hot spring and pool in the villa! And regardless of where your villa is located, there’s buggy service available 24/7. Yoga among nature was also amazing. A really nice place to relax within nature. HOWEVER, as a luxury resort, I was disappointed with the check-in service. Firstly, there wasn’t a clear indication of where the reception/lobby was, so our driver ended dropping us at the carpark. Once we were within the lobby area, it took a while for the staff to actually welcome us. Unlike the check-in service we saw another family receiving later in the day when they were dropped off at the main lobby, we immediately felt the difference. Btw, the resort should really consider lighting the direction into the lobby at night. Most of our private hire drivers have pointed poor signage/lighting to the lobby. Next, the jungle walk group was too large with only one guide. We could barely hear what the guide was saying at the back, so yes it was merely a walk for us.

NNizarMzSpent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan. They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus. Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

SSteve ZissouHad a lovely long weekend getaway and stayed in the sea villas. The facilities were amazing with fresh water pools, tennis courts, gym and several restaurants with an excellent food selection. Our favourite was fisherman's cove which had more of a western cuisine. Overall we had a really pleasant stay. However having stayed at other similar resorts at a similar price it felt like it was lacking. I know how can I complain about staying in paradise? The area for improvement would be: an additional hose shower head instead of just the overhead one. Cleanliness of the library area. Greeting cold towels and drinks at the main lobby. Selection of shampoos, soaps and moisturisers. Eco-friendly toothbrush and energy controller with key card. Aircon and lights had to be turned off manually if we left the room. I would definitely go again but it would be nice if they took on more eco friendly initiatives.

To old town, just walking distance, it is very convinient for all tourists n business traveller as well as family. The room is simple n modern. Just a small matter to highlight is housekeeping is too slow for those would like to work in the room. Breakfast variety is good n variety.

MMel_TIt’s a nice resort in Ipoh surrounded by greenery. Cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. Black mildew grow around shower heads which is gross, dust on kitchen top surface and bad smell came out from the AC ventilation in the bedrooms. Activities listed for kids are of poor quality. There was a group of adults using the playroom as resting and make-up room. There was hardly anything for children to play with in there.. Achery was a joke, reception staff had no clue on the schedule and couldn’t be bothered to find out. It’s hazard to place a thin piece of glass on the table top  in the apartment.
