Reception & restaurant staff were helpful, but housekeeping is rather poor : didn't replenish tea/ coffee as well as hand soap, left previous customer's hair in bath and had to be asked to clean up room. Shower is very weak, so not great for hot summer days. Breakfast is ok. Restaurant staff are cheerful and helpful. Overall ok, but not good value for money.

Excellent breakfast but I was charged for 2 @ £18.95 each (as I had a single room) so very expensive. On querying this I was told it was standard practice Large room although was surprised to have a disabled room when I hadn't requested one - meant that sink was low and shower was in the bath Room was cold. I was told the air conditioning had been put on for the summer and the room temperature couldn't be adjusted. Temperature control in room didn't work apart from blowing more cold air through the vents. Bathroom radiator didn't heat when turned on. Shower was lukewarm. Volume on TV control didn't work so sound very low Green light on ceiling for smoke detector kept me awake.

Allen is working at the front office reception and I stay in this hotel for 13 nights, every time when need them to do something like change my key card because is not working or house keeping did not give me any towels, they do it unwillingly. I’ve had to change my card nearly every night and it lightly touches my phone accidentally and it deactivated. But I don’t understand why their system is so poor, my daughter’s dormitory uses these cards and puts them against their phone but it’s completely fine. A large hotel group like this can’t even use a up to date elock system.

Surprising, very good, cost-effective, had no special expectations of Marriott, and settled on the road a day, but in fact the children had a great time and did not rush to leave, it is really a country golf club, open air fresh , The apple tree is full of fruits.

The accomodation & service was fine & what you would expect. I would potentially would have liked a bit bigger selection of food for the evening meals. The main thing that you could look at is making the signage a bit clearer as to how to access the property- we did not expect it to be by the services , so maybe state that in your advert- as we ended up going around the huge intersection again , as we expected a separate entrance for the hotel. The location is great. Located on the street where all banks, stores, supermarkets and restaurants located. The st albans cathedral abbey is just located opposite of the hotel. However, for the amenities, it would be best if they could provide hair conditioner.

Our daughter got married in the nearby register office at 11am … although our room wasn’t ready (I never expected it to be) we were able to leave our luggage behind the desk .. also as my husband has mobility problems ( no ble badge) we were allowed courtesy disabled parking in the hotel bays , ( very grateful) … early checkout 5.30am and was given a breakfast to go .., very happy with our stay

It will be alive in Letchworth, the hotel has the taste of the manor, and the afternoon tea is very comfortable. Although it is relatively biased, it does not matter if the city walks small. There is a parking lot. More powerful than the Broadway station hotel, the fly in the ointment is that breakfast is paid.
