The resort is very conveniently located, just close to everything. Inside the resort precinct there’s a dive shop which is great for divers. The resort staff are very hospitable with great services. Plenty of free activities provided everyday including fire walk, kava ceremony and fish feeding etc. Tours can be booked through the tour booking desk at reception. Highly recommended for travellers looking for diving and other outdoor activities.
We booked with breakfast after checking with staff over the call , informed them we will leave at 5am and staff confirmed that they will serve the breakfast if we inform them during check in but even after informed no breakfast was provided.
Second and main thing, no wifi was provided so couldn’t get hold of with family during stay, my family tried multiple time ringing the front staff but no proper communication.
The road to the resort is a bit bumpy and nothing is really near to the resort (restaurants/ convenient stores etc.), so you will need to call a taxi every time you need to go out or get supplies. The room itself is not super bright and the furnitures were a bit wear out. The resort is literally on a beach, so do expect to have quite some mosquito whenever you are on your way back to your room, and it's also tricky for travellers with big luggages to carry their bags to their rooms, since there are few steps of stairs to the door of your room and the pathway is sand. However, if you are here for a short stay, I think it would be ok to look past that.
If you are looking to stay for a night in Nadi, and going to the islands for the next few days, I suggest looking for other accommodations in downtown Nadi, such as Nalagi Hotel. As we drive past other hotels such as Mercury Hotel, it seems like a motel as well, so it might be best to look for something downtown.
One of the best ways to increase customer satisfaction and encourage more reviews from guests is by providing excellent customer service. Make sure your employees are well-trained and know how to handle any situation that may arise. They need to go out of their way to help visitors where they can, from personally booking tickets to scheduling itineraries for their stay. If any stressful events occur, they must know how to remain calm and deal with it swiftly. Making your guests the highest priority will ensure they leave with a positive lasting impression, and your reviews will reflect this.
Good hotel. Has everything you need for a relax holiday. They were renovating so there was quite a lot of noise. Also, keep in mind that there are a lot of children. For a couple to relax I guess there are better resort, but great for families. The Gym is nice. Service in the restaurants was alright, expected a bit more to be honest (long waiting, wrong orders).
Good location, very clean, lovely staff. Reasonable breakfast. Close to airport
Pool is more a pool to dip into, not swim. It's very small.
The beach is not good for swimming. Hideous how muchplastic and rubbish is on the beach. We picked up tons of rubbish every walk. There are plentyy bins around - nailed to palm trees, so it is pure laziness. This isn't the hotel's fault of course, but the area would be far more attractive if there was an effort by people to bin their rubbish.
The hotels in NADI are generally expensive and shabby, about the same as those in China at RMB 150-60, but the staff are very nice. Even if there is no elevator, I can help you carry your luggage. You can also change the single room to a double room. Fortunately, there is no tipping during the performance at night. The location is not bad. It is about 10 minutes away from the airport. There is also a supermarket and several restaurants nearby.
We had a lovely welcome upon arrival, cold towels and water. We were able to park our hire car undercover. Assistance by the hotel with all our bags to the room was great.
Loved having comfy beds, dressing gowns, seperate bathrooms, washing machine, dryer and plunger coffee.
The rooms were clean, everything available for making our own meals.
Enjoyed a morning coffee and smoothies downstairs.
Our last night we had a drink at Bar 57 before going out to eat.
We were given a late checkout.
A nice relaxing stay.
Thank you.
The scenery is very good. I highly recommend it. The swimming pool is very clean. I will come to Crowne Plaza again next time I come to Fiji. There are many activities in the hotel. It is very quiet. The service attitude of the staff is also very good. There are many breakfast options.
Great hostel 20 meters from the beach. We had a private room with aircon.

Very Good
GGuest UserQuite happy with my stay, Doubletree is ideal for a solo retreat in a quiet place or for family, you’ll find both peace and leisure activities for families. Excellent service and helpful staff, I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it, the staff accommodated me with early checkout and late breakfast.
AacacacBeautiful stay at this quite new modern style hotel surrounded by lagoon! But it’s sad that there is no beach to enjoy there.
*room- it’s small but they have everything we need and amenities is quite good and they bring us enough tea en coffee during our stay. They maintain a room quite clean so it was very comfortable staying here. We can see it’s new and good design as well!
*breakfast-variety choice of food that you can fully enjoy! They even had a Mimosa drink and you will never get bored with beautiful and tasty food they prepare!
*facility- it’s quite big so to reach to the infinity pool it takes time to get there on foot and there was not enough baggy so had to walk all the way there. And even though this hotel itself is big but infinity pool is quite small and each seat is too close to each other so I felt it’s a hit congested and didn’t feel so relax being there. But surroundings are beautiful we can see mountains and oceans. Blue lagoon view from our room was also beautiful!
*Stuffs- sorry to compare to other hotel but some of the stuffs are not as friendly as other stuffs we met at other hotel. Some are lovely but I felt they’re so tired of helping us. But the driver who helped us to give us a loft to the airport, he was very friendly and nice, we can see he is willing to help us and made us comfortable till the end of our trip! Thank you Maffie! ( sorry not sure about spelling ) And the receptionist lady was very attentive when we checked in-Sweta, she was willing to prepare a room for us even we arrived a bit early than the check-in time, thank you!
NNadia777!The place is good if you need to get to the airport in the morning or plan to take boat trips from the port, as the beach in the area is not swimmable. Wi fi in the lobby / room is not good, wi fi in the restaurant: good :) the dorm room can be cleaner tbh, but it’s cheap so can’t complain
People are nice and friendly. There’s a bicycle rental nearby and o highly recommend renting e-bike and drive around.
GGuest UserI stayed here for two nights in a dorm, lodge 1. I had a top bunk and there wasn’t a railing so I was pretty worried about falling out. Also there weren’t any plugs inside the room - only one outside in the washroom area. Apparently the other dorm lodges do have plugs and railings though.
Food is only at set times but was pretty reasonably priced! I had the split pea soup for dinner one night (5/5!) and a veggie curry the following (3/5) and a veggie burger for lunch (4.5/5). Complimentary breakfast was pretty basic but good enough! They had soy and almond milk available.
There is a cute ethical shop/cafe nearby which is so nice but other than that I don’t think there’s much else within walking distance in terms of shops.
The resort had daily activities to get involved with which is a bonus!! The pool was also very nice and the beach is great for snorkelling!
My favourite part of the beach house was the shower in the washroom area attached to the dorm/lodge. It was an outside area but secluded and the shower pressure was insane!! And nice warm water. However, the toilet itself smelt pretty bad and I didn’t dare go near it.
AAndyTraveling with family (2 adults + 3 kids) from USA. We had a great time there. Kids absolutely the pools/beach/soccer field/the grill/pizza restaurant by the pool. Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We have been to Tahiti before and found this Marriott Momi Bay is even more relaxing, romantic, and picturesque than Tahiti. But there are also some pros: 1) the location is in the middle of nowhere (though no so far from Nadi). So once you are there, you will be pretty much stuck there; 2) food at the main restaurant is just average. They have an Asian food section for breakfast/dinner buffet, but quite a joke (to our standards, as Chinese Americans). The fish bar is awesome but requires a bit of walking/buggy ride; 3) snorkeling wise, the fish is not as colorful as in Tahiti, but is still very good; and 4) the layout of our room (2 beds by the pond) is not so much different from an upscale city business hotel.
Overall, if you are just looking for a relaxing time in a resort, this would absolutely be great place. But if you are looking for a new cultural/food/city adventure, this would not be the right place.
AacacacSecond time for us to stay here this hotel!
This time we were able to stay at the pool view, we appreciate the kind help from reception assistance manger Aman as well as Keleshi’s help!
We recommend Intercontinental if it’s first time to visit Fiji because of below reason!
-friendly stuffs who are willing to help us always with beautiful smiles! May stuffs try to remember us and feet us personally which makes it it stay even more pleasant and we can see that they do it from their heart!
-spacious dining with great choice of food for lunch/dinner with love music everyday and some activities at the bar lounge
-Intercontinental has got public beach just in front and we can enjoy beach as well as Infinity pool for adults. What I love about this hotel is that we don’t need to go other places to enjoy beach as we can get to see colouful fishes with our own snorkels!
-spacious room and bathtub on a big balcony is something great and you can relax at the balcony even it’s raining day!
Thank you for the another beautiful stay and we will definitely come back!!
GGuest UserI had a disappointing experience relating to service. My room had no wifi upon check in. I made the staff aware of this straight away, yet nothing was done until mid-morning the next day after I insisted it be resolved. All up I had to visit reception 2 times and call reception 5 times before they finally sent someone for a rather quick fix. When I called reception (outside of check in/out hours) often there was no answer. Furthermore, I paid for an oceanview room with 2 single beds, at check in I confirmed this was what I booked and requested that the room was not overlooking the pool. All these requests were ignored, and I was given a pool room with 1 bed, with no explanation for why.
While the staff are friendly (most hospitality staff across Fiji are), for a ”5” Star resort I found the service very lacking.
LLow Siong Lye 27052025I recently stayed at Gecko's Resort and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, with a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. I especially appreciated the little touches like free DVDs available to borrow – a nice bonus for quiet evenings in.
The location is great too – just a short distance from the beautiful Sigatoka Sand Dunes and the Pacific Ocean, so there’s no shortage of things to see and do nearby.
One downside, however, is the Wi-Fi. Access requires a voucher, and if you're streaming videos (like on YouTube), the data only lasts around two hours. This was a bit inconvenient, especially in an age where connectivity is expected to be seamless.
Overall, Gecko's Resort is a great option for a peaceful getaway with a few nice extras. Just be prepared to manage your internet usage or consider unplugging and enjoying the serene surroundings.
