Hotels With Bar in Aswan Governorate, Egypt

The location is excellent, right on the Nile River. However, the rooms are quite small. The breakfast restaurant was good, offering outdoor seating right by the Nile to enjoy your meal. A ferry to Elephantine Island is conveniently located right next to the hotel, which was very handy.

The hotel is located on a high point overlooking the Nile. It's very beautiful and comfortable. It's newly renovated and connected to the Basma Hotel. However, the Basma Club has fewer rooms, and most of them have Nile views. Carrefour, the Old Falls, and Feryal Garden are within walking distance. It's a great value for money. The staff are very friendly. I booked a hotel shuttle to the airport, and the car was new and clean. They also prepared a very rich breakfast box for us to eat on the way. Highly recommended! !

The iconic location and legendary charm of the Old Cataract speak for themselves, and the quality of the Sofitel Legend brand is absolutely top-notch. During my trip to Egypt, I stayed at several excellent hotels, including Mena House, Rixos, and Waldorf Astoria, but for me, the rooms here were by far the most impressive. The balcony was incredible, offering breathtaking, panoramic views of the Nile. The entire hotel is simply stunning. The service was also exceptional. The only minor drawback was perhaps the somewhat limited breakfast selection. Otherwise, everything else was perfect!

The rooms weren't as good as I'd hoped. We booked an entire villa, yet shockingly, three of the bathrooms had no hot water for showers. On top of that, the drainage was incredibly slow; simply washing my hair caused the water to reach my ankles. It's also quite a distance from the city center, and we hardly experienced any service.

It’s one of if not the best hotel in Aswan, situated in an exclusive island with an amazing view of the Nile and Nubian village. The staff was super comforting and lovely. There’s a shuttle boat that runs 24 hours to the main center of Aswan. I had an incredible time here. ＜3

The room facilities are relatively simple, similar to those of old domestic 3-star hotels. The bedsheets are a bit lacking in hygiene. Bring your own bedsheets. There are no USB charging ports, slippers, etc. The hotel is in an upper location, 20 minutes away from KFC, and there are few restaurants nearby. My friend who was traveling with me booked a room at Qunar. When I checked in, I was told that there was no reservation, so I almost didn't get it. Ctrip is relatively reliable.

Except for the unstable hot water, hot and cold, and very few breakfast varieties, everything else is nice and the scenery is unparalleled. The food in the hotel's restaurant is good. It is in Nubian style, and there are many distinctive decorations in the room. The hotel is located in the suburbs, and the surrounding area is deserted and remote, so it is also very quiet. The hotel we booked to pick us up from Cairo to Aswan was charged $55. It took about 40 minutes to drive. I felt cheated. In fact, you can call a taxi directly from the airport. It is not as chaotic as it is said on the Internet. The breakfast in the hotel is not bad. The fried egg is very delicious. There is a waiter who is Nubian. He is very nice to me. He will take the initiative to help me carry things and remind me to pay attention to the steps. It is the most sincere and friendly service I feel in my trip to Egypt. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name. When I left, I wanted to find him to tip but couldn't find him.
