A hotel that excels in location, rooms, and service. I initially hesitated and opted for a city view room. Being on the 15th floor, the view was already quite good, but I actually regretted not going for a river view. The river view is truly spectacular, especially in the evening. The doorman and bell staff were very proactive and helpful, earning high praise. The butler service was a nice touch, and Hailey was quite prompt in her responses. Complimentary beverages were a welcome perk, though I hope the service for them can be a bit quicker next time. The latte quality was a tad inconsistent, but given it was free, I won't dwell on it. As some reviews noted, the swimming pool's changing rooms are indeed surprisingly spacious, even larger than the pool itself. The women's changing room, for instance, features a jacuzzi and sauna, and on weekdays, it's comfortably quiet with very few people. However, the pool itself is quite small – I doubt it's even 18 meters long – and being underground, it doesn't offer a very invigorating swim. I can't imagine how it would cope with weekend crowds.

This was my first stay here. Compared to more renowned names like Ritz, Four Seasons, St. Regis, or Westin, this hotel might fly under the radar, but my experience here was truly fantastic.
I believe I booked one of their more basic room types, yet the actual space was surprisingly generous, almost feeling like a junior suite. It came with a walk-in closet, double sinks, and a huge bathtub from which you could enjoy panoramic night views of Tianjin. What made it even better was that, with the recent SCO Summit, the city buildings were beautifully illuminated. Soaking in the tub while enjoying that view was truly delightful.
I was celebrating my birthday during my stay and had noted it in my reservation. The hotel pleasantly surprised me with birthday decorations and a cake. While the service wasn't exceptionally warm compared to five-star hotels in some other major cities, it was definitely one of the best I've encountered in Tianjin. It was consistently professional and helpful, with staff always ready to assist.
The location is also superb. It's only a five-minute walk to the subway, taxis are readily available, and the surrounding commercial district is vibrant. A particularly cool and somewhat rare feature for a five-star hotel is that food deliveries are brought directly to your room by a robot, saving you a trip downstairs – a definite plus!
All in all, after this one stay, I genuinely loved the hotel. The value for money is outstanding, especially since it's considerably more affordable than the other hotels I mentioned. Unless there's a specific reason, this will be my go-to hotel for future stays.

My recent stay at Four Seasons Tianjin was nothing short of exceptional. What truly sets this property apart is the remarkable staff who consistently went above and beyond to create a memorable experience.
Even before arrival, Duty Manager Qiqi was preparing for my stay despite being on leave. Learning it was my first visit to Tianjin, she thoughtfully arranged a stunning room with panoramic skyline views that made for a perfect introduction to the city.
The moment I arrived at the driveway, David from concierge greeted me personally. His Golden Key designation was evident in his impeccable professionalism and knowledge throughout my stay.
Check-in with Olivia at the front desk was seamless. She had clearly familiarized herself with my preferences beforehand, making the process efficient while still providing a warm, personalized welcome and comprehensive overview of the property's facilities.
Though working behind the scenes, Communications Coco and her team functioned like personal butlers, anticipating needs wherever I went. When I needed a garment bag for my suit to simplify air travel, a simple text through their live chat service was all it took - Coco went the extra mile to ensure it was delivered promptly.
Breakfast service was where Alice truly shined. After noticing me select a passion fruit, she immediately appeared with a spoon without being asked and offered to prepare fresh-squeezed juice to complement my meal. This level of attentiveness and personalization defines the Four Seasons experience.
While I never encountered the housekeeping team directly, their impeccable work spoke volumes. The turndown service particularly impressed me - the consistently prepared ice in the room during evening turndown demonstrated the brand's commitment to maintaining standards across all properties.
What's remarkable is how each staff member made such an impression that I've remembered their names - a rarity in my hotel experiences. Every team member embodied the golden rule of treating others as they would wish to be treated themselves.
I'm genuinely grateful for the exceptional care and will absolutely return when next in Tianjin. This property represents the Four Seasons brand at its finest.

Hotel facilities is very high quality and using robot to send things to you. Free laundry and good buffet breakfast. The hotel aircon temperature in Room 713 is controlled and not able to adjust to the temperature that you want. My indoor room temperature Is set to 27 degrees and very hot In late night after feedback to to the front desk, room is changed immediately and upgraded to a bigger room. Very efficient. Free airport transfer by Mercedes Benz SUV , bus driver is very friendly and helpful.

Visiting Tianjin, I felt Lishunde was an absolute must-experience! The hotel's new lobby is bright and grand, but I specifically booked the Cai E Suite, aiming for the old wing – and it truly lived up to expectations. It felt like stepping back in time, and the creaky floorboards added so much character. If you prefer not to stay in the old building, the new one is available, but the old wing is definitely worth a visit. Linda provided excellent service – highly recommend! I'll bring my family back and might try the new wing on our next visit. The whole place felt very cinematic; the staircase and the old grand lobby are incredibly beautiful. I also visited the museum and learned so much about its century-old history. It made me realize how quickly time flies and how fast China has grown. Looking back at history helps us move forward more peacefully and resolutely into the future. Oh, and for showering, you have to step into the bathtub. The old wing has a strong scent of aged wood, much like the Forbidden City – you get used to it after a while. If you're sensitive to smells, keep that in mind. For photos, I highly recommend wearing a qipao; it perfectly complements the setting!

Great ambience and location. Near scenic spots are Few good Museums, grand theatre and Happy Jin. If you need peace and tranquility in your stay, this is the hotel I would recommend. A little away from the hustle and crowd of the city with a good comm network (metro). The only inconvenience was not having any mall or convenience stores nearby. Service was excellent.

The Hotel is a very nice and comfortable. The lobby is amazingly good. The front desk are friendly and the boys can speak English. They variety of food for breakfast Chinese and western cuisines. The room is nice though sockets are abit far from the bed 🛌 The rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfortable, The bathroom is big and the tub is well designed. Overall, This Hotel is a prefect choice if you are on budget.
The hotel facilities and restaurants are very good, but the description on Ctrip.com is not consistent with the actual situation. I made a reservation a day ago, and Ctrip.com said early check-in was available, but no room was reserved for me; of the two front desk staff, one wanted to give it to me. I checked in right away. The person with a high position at the front desk probably looked at people with colored glasses. He locked the vacant room in front of me and gave it to someone else. I arrived at the hotel and waited at the front desk for 30 minutes. I still had my child with me. The weather is quite hot, but the service is so-so. The glasses of the front desk customer service are not very bright, and they often need to be changed and wiped.

MMichael & Nici Exploring China and BeyondWe checked into the Tuanbo Lake Hotspring Resort & Spa for one night, as we wanted to see if it's suitable for future visits.
We enjoyed our stay so much, and decided to extended our stay with another night.
The Resort is devided into two sections, with the Villa Style Hotspring Rooms on one end, and the Private Hotspring in Room ”House Soup”, on the other end.
We stayed at the ”House Soup” section, during this visit, as we wanted to enjoy our own private Hotspring in room.
Service received from all staff members were good, and they were all very courteous and efficient.
They were courtesy enough, to show us the Villa's as well.
The room was well prepared upon our arrive, and our room was decorated (Romantic Theme), as requested.
The Resort is a short drive out of the City, and it's advisable to allow ample time during your stay.
I will not recommend staying here, for one night only, but rather for a few nights if possible.
We will most definitely return, and spend more time here during longer holidays or time of work.
I can recommend this establishment to all future guests, foreign or domestic.
GGuest UserThe room is large and has a bathtub. The hygiene is pretty good. The price is very good in this area. They were very considerate and provided afternoon tea with round beds and various themes. I was very moved after seeing it.
MMichelleyanI heard that The Ritz-Carlton in Tianjin is the best in the country, so I took a spontaneous three-day and two-night trip. The overall decoration of the hotel is my favorite European style. The staff were friendly and helpful. Susan at the front desk was very nice and upgraded me to a suite on the top floor. The room was very clean and felt like home! The hotel is located in the most central and convenient Heping District, just a few steps away from the beautiful Haihe Scenic Area. Since I drink a cup of oatmeal coffee every day, but the hotel was unable to provide it, Darren, the manager of the lobby bar, was very considerate and attentive. The next day, he specially asked the hotel to prepare oatmeal milk for me to meet my needs. This small service has touched me. I must give full marks 💯 for this kind of humanized service and give it five stars 🌟 praise 👍 Overall, the hotel has a beautiful environment and excellent service. It is indeed the ceiling of the Ritz-Carlton in China! Will highly recommend to friends and family!

JJamesnzPerfect hotel! The bed is sloop comfortable and the room is spotlessly clean. Food delivered by robot was so cool. Staff are polite and professional and there is a great coffee place at the lobby. Close to Heping Road shopping Street and the old concessions area. Thanks for a great stay.
Just 2 issues - plug shapes didn't work for devices from NZ/AU, which is different to most other hotels in China where they do fit. The AC unit is right next to the bed and it got a bit chilly lying in bed.
