Decided to move to a supposedly lovely hotel for 2 nights as thought would be lovely treat for my son as had a big gym and pool, how wrong was I.... we checked in on Saturday night I had called ahead to check availability and price for 2 nights as was leaving on the Monday. The lady on reception told me the price and we went straight over to check in. She took us to the room and we confirmed the price and that it included breakfast, all good. That was until we returned on the Sunday evening after visiting the salt mines that day to not being able to get into our room. We went to reception and they told us we should of checked out that day!!! We were no we booked for 2 nights why would we not when not going home till Monday?? The receptionist said could she ring the lady who we booked with and she told me there was a mistake made and was sorry but we had to PAY another night... Omg was so upset not my fault but still expected to pay, spoke to the general manager and someone higher Joanne I think she was absolutely awful would not listen at all just wanted the money!!!! What kind of customer care NONE i would say. My husband who is disabled and my son 16 were gobsmacked at their total lack of empathy. They had all our belongings locked in the room we were in and we felt we had no choice but to pay as had nowhere to go, cant tell you how upset we were just ruined out trip through absolutely no fault of our own. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL IF U WANT GOOD CUSTOMER CARE. Just because Mecure are a big chain doesn't mean good at all in anyway or form.

The hotel is great, but the sound insulation between the rooms is very average. You can hear voices in the rooms next to you.
Breakfast is also rich and has many choices;
The window faces the river and the view is very good.
With 200 years of history, our hotel is one block from Old Town’s main plaza and The Cloth Hall. Nearly all Old Town’s restaurants, museums, galleries, and shops are within a 10-minute walk, and Wawel Royal Castle is a 15-minute walk. Take a tram to the Jewish district of Kazimierz. At the end of the day, enjoy a bite and drinks at our on-site restaurant and bar.

Excellent hotel, the room was beautiful and very clean, I particularly liked the lighting, not too bright and added something extra to the ‘jazzy’ atmosphere. The spa in the basement is amazing, had the entire spa all for myself for hours. Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel is ideal for discovering the beautiful city of Krakow ! Will be back for sure !

We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. She took the two bottles away and said that she would return. 20-minutes down the line, she r

We were in Poland for a wedding, my daughter wasn't too impressed with this hotel until she walked into the building. The outside looks unremarkable, but once inside your opinion changes immediately. As a Diamond Member we were upgraded to a King Junior Suite and it was very much appreciated! The Front Desk was attentive and polite. We received our warm cookie and headed up to our room. OMG, it was huge compared to the room we just came from, even the bathroom was large. We had so much room and space to spread out. The Executive Room was nice and we enjoyed the evening entrees, especially the soups. I can't say enough nice things about this executive room. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Although crowded at times, there was always enough food and hospitality. The breakfast was great. Lots of selections and ample food. We didn't try the made to order omelette as it looked like it could feed two people. This hotel exceeded our expectations.
Thank you for choosing our Wyndham Grand Krakow Old Town hotel.

The location is very good. In the Old Town Square, it is a five-minute walk from the Textile Hall. There is a restaurant with rice and fish in the vicinity. The environment is excellent. The hotel is small and fully equipped. The breakfast is very rich. Traveling will also help to book a car. There is a convenience store opposite. Low-key but warm hotel.

On plus: nice and helpful service, delicious diverse breakfasts, fitness zone and a chamber but not crowded pool, nice leap after evening walks, saunas and jacuzzi wonderful.
The hotel is about 2.4 km walk away from the market, on beautiful days a great option for a little traffic, for people who don't like walking will of course be a delicate problem. Hotel parking and if someone does not want to use the parking space around the city parking

The price/performance ratio is good for travel and business trips, the room space is okay, the breakfast is recommended, and the overall service is good.

Early march this year we've been in Krakow and the hotel were we stayed is the Novotel Krakow City West. The room was spacious and very clean , the bed comfortable , air conditioning /heating (this time the AC worked as heating due to the outside temperatures) was working really well. The room had also a sofa bed - not needed for the 2 of us - but it was there in case it was needed. The bathroom was also very clean with a walk-in shower - so really nothing to complain from that perspective. Breakfast - very good choices in the morning - a lot polish and international choices were available - tasty and plenty. Parking lot is generous in size - if you arrive with your own car it should not be a problem to find a place to park. The Novo 2 (square) bar in the lobby had a good selection of drinks - so the options were there should feel like having a drink Also the restaurant with a good selection of Polish and international dishes - we've ate there too and nothing to complain with a very good price to quality ratio. Bar, restaurant and front desk staff very kind and helpful. Overall a very good hotel - from my perspective - if you are looking for a place to stay in Krakow I do recommend the Novotel Krakow City West.
Thank you for choosing our Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Cracow hotel.

GGuest UserStayed here for a long weekend. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would require. The kitchenette was handy with its kettle and fridge as well as being well equipped with utensils and crockery. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent and very convenient for eating in the restaurants in the main square and visiting the attractions and sights of the city. The staff were friendly and keen to help whenever we had a question. There isn’t the possibility to store luggage but we were informed that there is a luggage storage facility across the square which was also rather convenient. The price for our stay was great and we definitely received more quality than what we paid, especially compared to standards in other parts of Europe. Overall, would definitely recommend!
GGuest UserGreat rooms, whole hotel very clean and newly refurbished.
Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful.
Beds were comfy, air con great, bathroom excellent. Love the walk in shower!
You can walk north west through the parks, to the main square in ten minutes, or south east to the Jewish quarter.
Only slight issue is that the breakfast was...... OK. Not wonderful. After a few days, we always headed out for breakfast.
There's plenty of electric scooters and bikes for hire at the end of the street, you'll need the app for these.
CClairemfalveyLocation was fantastic, only a few steps from the old town square. Getting in was a bit of an issue. The phone number given on trip.com was not correct but luckily the door was open and on the lift there was another phone number and then I had to wait 10mins on the phone. However Once I had the information, the room was lovely with a bath by the window. It felt quite luxurious with amenities etc. My only gripe was the windows didn't block out much sound and the blinds did not block out much light. There was also a note apologizing for renovation noise. So I was woken up at 5am by workers moving things on and off from that time.
This is a lovely place to stay just off the main square in the old town so very handy for sightseeing and restaurants. We booked a junior suite, which was lovely, but I would have given up the spa bath if I'd known that it meant we didn't get a shower. Trying to get up and out quickly was therefore more challenging. Check in was straight forward and happy to take luggage earlier in the day so we could tour first, nap and then go back out later (after a v early flight!) We didn't eat in the restaurant for breakfast so cannot comment on the food.
MMilanNice and brand new student residence opened several months ago, just across Hyatt Place where you can have discounted buffet breakfast (50 Zl- 12 euros, instead 85Zl),close to AD Krakow Mariott and small open food court consisted of 5 kiosk restaurants. Walking distance to the street car station is 7 minutes , and ride to downtown around 10 minutes. Staff is extremely helpful ...will provide you with cooking utensils cause student cafeteria is closed during summer vacation. It's very clean inside.
GGuest UserThe location was easy to find, just a 3 minute walk from Krakow Station. I arrived in Krakow late at night, but was able to check in which was helpful. The room was very warm and I was able to wear only one thin layer of clothing. The bed was fluffy. In the bathroom, there was a bit of water leaking from the floor. The toiletries included shampoo. There is also a hair dryer. No toothbrushes or loungewear provided. We had breakfast at the cafe next door and it was delicious. One meal was 29 zlotys. The staff were very kind and communicated in slow English and with a translation app. I think it's enough unless you're looking for luxury.
LLvDarynaIt’s a decent hotel for its price with delicious breakfast and convenient location. Staff is welcoming and friendly. There’s a safe at the reception if you need it. Room has all kinds of cutleries, pots and pans, and a little stove which makes it suitable for cooking your own food. But in the room there’s no toothbrush and toothpaste as well as slippers. Also shampoo and shower gel is like all-in-one, so make sure to bring your own toiletries. The other good thing is that water can be taken at the reception or in a breakfast room if you run out of that you were provided with.
I enjoyed my stay and definitely can recommend this hotel
SsIti_yuit was good with amneties and modern. If you want to find complete hotel this is okay.
Good location has fridge, hair dryer , kettle , towel , soap , heater.
But it was slef check in so we did not know it was till we talk to a couple then we message trip .Thy helped us but at the end the hotel called us. My husband said it suppose to have reception even if the hotel number directed to a call center very hassle for us since we have baby . So do ask the hotel first ur pin code 2-3 days before ur check in.
The position of the hotel is perfect location a very short walk and in main square lots to places to eat in area of hotel and not far to get a taxi. Staff was friendly and welcoming with breakfast brought to room found very repetitive but nice fresh food. Lots of seps to get to your room.
Perfect place to stay for our visit. Good location, short walk to the main square and nice restaurants. Room was very clean and had all we needed. Only small thing was the dish washer was broken but we did not have a need for this anyway. Basic cooking utensils in the kitchen if you plan to cook but there are many places to eat out. There is a small shop few doors down selling food & drink if you need to buy anything. Also outside hotel is ticket machine for the tram that you can get to the Jewish Quarter a few stops away. The breakfast boxes were good and catered for gluten free/vegan diets too. These were good to have as we were going out early on trips so we could take them with us to eat on the way. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall I would recommend this as a great base to explore the city.
