Let's talk about the shortcomings. We went by car. We need to contact the hotel in advance. We will give you a GPS address and follow this navigation to reach the hotel. Hotel help parking is 45 euros a day, little expensive! Everything else is satisfactory!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton in Sienna, and my experience was nothing short of excellent. The service provided by the staff was impeccable, from the moment I checked in to the time I checked out. The facilities were top-notch, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The room exceeded my expectations, providing a cozy retreat with all the amenities one could desire. The attention to detail in the room's design and cleanliness was evident, contributing to an overall delightful stay. The hotel's location is ideal for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, it offers a serene atmosphere that adds to the overall charm of the place. Whether enjoying a morning stroll or unwinding in the evening, the surroundings only enhance the experience. We had a great stay at the Villa Del Sole Siena. The hotel is gorgeous and feels very serene. Our room was a superior room it was lovely and so light and airy with a great view of Siena from the window. The hotels terrace has a fantastic view over looking both the Tuscany hills and Siena which we took full advantage of! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. We stayed at the Certosa with a group of friends, and we loved this hotel. It is a unique property, previously being a monastery, with beautiful grounds and pool area. The rooms are spacious, and clean, but not modern luxury. The breakfast is wonderful. The menu on the restaurant is quite progressive and high end, but they also made us dishes that we requested if there was nothing to suit us. I loved the location, being a little outside of Siena, as it provided a nice calm reprieve, and you are right in the hills of Tuscany. I was unsure if it was walkable to Siena, and found that it was an easy 15 minute walk into Siena, that we took each day during daylight. We also had no issues calling cabs, or having cabs drop us off at the hotel in the evening hours, as the roads are too narrow to walk on safely after dark. There are limited hotels with pools in the area, which is why we chose this hotel. But, the location, and overall feel of the hotel were even better than I hoped. Siena was a highlight of the trip to Italy, which included Rome, Florence, Pisa and Cinque Terra. And, if you are going to visit, I would highly recommend staying here. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The advantage here is that it is very convenient to walk 14 minutes from the train station. It is acceptable to walk to the old town of Siena for 20 minutes. The price is beautiful and very moving now. The environment is superb. I saw the deer in the garden in the morning. The manager proudly introduced that four deer babies were born this year. Instantly, I feel that this place is outstanding, especially suitable for creativity, works, and results. Every morning, the window is opened, and the fresh air on the hillside is poured into the room. People have a clear mind, inspiration, and a new look. It is a good choice for a temporary stay away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast at 8 o'clock, not self-service, you need to tell the manager what to eat one day in advance, they are ready, every day when they enter the restaurant, they see the breakfast neatly placed on the table, and the service is in place. The restaurant wall is a trekking pole handmade by the manager uncle, each of which is made into a small animal image according to the natural shape of the branches, and the eyes are painted, which is very flexible. It is very popular. It is said that many people buy it. The layout, furniture and facilities in the room are all strong Italian style, some retro atmosphere, old objects are very reassuring. Safety and health, no worries. The temperature in Italy in December looked more than a dozen degrees, but it still felt wet and cold outside the rain, the room was heated, the ground was warm, and I could walk barefoot. I have received many Chinese tourists here. The manager has been studying the main different habits and preferences of people in different provinces in China, but found that China has a large number of people. She has not understood it. Haha is so cute. Language is not a barrier, what really makes people communicate smoothly is a heart, I feel it here. I hope I can come and live for a while next time.

My wife and I spent three nights here on our honeymoon trip to Italy. The villa is very nice, well-kept, clean and not too far from Siena and other small towns in Tuscany. Our room was spacious and clean, the bathroom especially was well-appointed. We truly enjoyed sitting in the lounge having aperitif and cocktails each night, and one night had a yummy dinner in the on-site restaurant. What I really want to highlight is the hotel's staff. In particular, Elena, who checked us in and was at the front desk our first two days, was absolutely wonderful. From showing us a map and marking parking and sites in Siena, to calling cabs for us (about 15 euro to Siena) but she truly went above and beyond finding a few activities for us to do on one of our days there. She researched and booked a private horseback ride which was great but what was OUTSTANDING was the private cheese tasting she arranged for us at Podere S. Anna Organic Caseificio Company based in Radi. The breakfast was very nice, and bacon and scrambled eggs are included with no extra charge if you ask for them. The rest of the staff was also excellent, we saw the same people each day and they all made us feel at home at Villa Scacciapensieri.

Loved our stay here. A special thank-you to Sonia and Daniela for making it great! We loved the room (Le Grottesche) with its loft and tall frescoed ceilings. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was very functional. Breakfast offered good choices (except cappuccino, which was a bit watery) and was served in a beautiful drawing room. During our stay I enjoyed learning about the history of the building and of the Borghesi family, which left Siena for Rome long ago but had many prominent members, including a pope and a nobleman who became Napoleon’s brother-in-law. In a church in a different part of town I happened to notice their coat of arms on some supports, which was pretty cool. Keep in mind that although the units have air conditioning, it must be enabled by management, and we were not able to use it in October although the weather was warm and rainy. My spouse had a bit of trouble sleeping at night due to this.

First of all, the service is very good. The front desk is super welcoming. It is the most enthusiastic hotel I have stayed at in Italy in two years. Seeing that I am a foreigner and I always communicate very slowly in English, I said that I can speak Italian with me, and then the waiter hurriedly I am sorry, and then answered my question patiently. The public environment is very artistic and retro. There is a garden outside. It is comfortable to sit on the sofa in the garden at night. The room is comfortable and the facilities are complete. The only shortcoming is that the breakfast is not. It’s made now, it feels like it was bought in the supermarket and eaten directly, and there are fewer varieties, overall it’s not bad, after all, the house price is relatively low, it’s good value for money 😁
