It was a wonderful stay.
Pros:
* The rooms are very spacious and have beautiful views
* Breakfast was good, plenty of options but till 10am on weekdays. And they really start taking away all the food at 10am.
* Right in the center of the city, you can walk anywhere
* They keep your suitcases after checkout. I asked them if I can come back for them later that day, and they were nice and kept them.

*No coffee machine in room. They do have a fridge though.
*No iron in room but they do have an ironing room
*No parking, but down the street there is free parking, a 8 min walk. I easily found a parking at 10.30pm

Excellent hotel, real five-star hotel service grade, every detail is exquisite and upscale. Okay, not much to say. If you choose this home, it is absolutely right, you will be in the history record. Let's talk about the shortcomings. We went by car. We need to contact the hotel in advance. We will give you a GPS address and follow this navigation to reach the hotel. Hotel help parking is 45 euros a day, little expensive! Everything else is satisfactory!

Lovely modern hotel on the outskirts of Sienna . The restaurant and food service were good and the whole place was clean and fresh .Local buses stop right outside the hotel too .Ample parking too .Many thanks to all the hard working staff who made our three night stay a pleasure .

Booked very last minute when our plans changed and we had a fantastic stay. Don't be put off by the outside of the hotel which is quite plain, the minute youstep inside it is light and bright and you will get a warm friendly welcome. Our room was very spacious, had everything we needed and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The air con had been on as it was a warm day so the room was a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was excellent and all of the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. It is a short walk to the old town and about 20 mins to the main piazza. I had hoped for hotel parking as we had a car full of stuff but this was full as we booked so late, so if you're booking ahead reserve in advance. There was free parking in the streets around and we had no problems. Very close to the train station An excellent stay, very good value and would certainly stay again

We were lucky to spend three nights at the Hotel Athena on our recent visit to Siena. Our room was comfortably large, nicely furnished, with a very comfortable bed with nice linens. The outdoor terrace and bar opened every evening at 5 (this is contingent on good weather, which we were fortunate to have); it's a lovely place to have a drink and enjoy the lovely view of the countryside and the sunset. Breakfast was included in our rate; the selection of breakfast items was good, with freshly baked pastries, scrambled eggs, a variety of meats, cheeses, and fruits, plus cereal and yoghurt. Guests were expected to make their own coffee from the espresso/coffee machine. The staff was helpful throughout; the receptionists were gracious, the bartender very professional. The historic center of Siena is a fairly easy 15-minute walk from the hotel (prepare for some hills along the way). The nearest restaurants are about 8-10 minutes away by foot; we didn't try the hotel dining room except for breakfast. We'll certainly consider the Hotel Athena again when next we're in Siena; it's convenient to the center of town, and really nicely appointed.

We had a great stay at the Villa Del Sole Siena. The hotel is gorgeous and feels very serene. Our room was a superior room it was lovely and so light and airy with a great view of Siena from the window. The hotels terrace has a fantastic view over looking both the Tuscany hills and Siena which we took full advantage of! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I highly recommend this small charming hotel when visiting Siena. It has a great location with a breathtaking view of Siena from the breakfast terrance. They serve a wonderful breakfast with a good variety to choose from. There's a lovely public living room where you can relax and enjoy the view. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are small, but comfortable and beautifully decorated with antiques. All have private baths. If I have the chance to visit Siena again I definitely will stay here!

The hotel is just outside the Porta Romana of Siena, and we choose it because it was more convenient, since we arrived by car, and it is not allowed to park inside the gates of the historic part of the city. Overall, the hotel was very good. You could see that the rooms were recently renovated and everything was new. We just didn’t like the fact that, in our room, the beds were in a kind of second floor, and the bathroom was under it, so we had to go up and down the stairs all the time. Also, during the breakfast, the staff serves your food, and I believe it would be easier if they just let the guests take their own food, because, at times, it formed a big line waiting to be served.

LLakesidaofuailinuoThe advantage here is that it is very convenient to walk 14 minutes from the train station. It is acceptable to walk to the old town of Siena for 20 minutes. The price is beautiful and very moving now.
The environment is superb. I saw the deer in the garden in the morning. The manager proudly introduced that four deer babies were born this year. Instantly, I feel that this place is outstanding, especially suitable for creativity, works, and results.
Every morning, the window is opened, and the fresh air on the hillside is poured into the room. People have a clear mind, inspiration, and a new look. It is a good choice for a temporary stay away from the hustle and bustle.
Breakfast at 8 o'clock, not self-service, you need to tell the manager what to eat one day in advance, they are ready, every day when they enter the restaurant, they see the breakfast neatly placed on the table, and the service is in place.
The restaurant wall is a trekking pole handmade by the manager uncle, each of which is made into a small animal image according to the natural shape of the branches, and the eyes are painted, which is very flexible. It is very popular. It is said that many people buy it.
The layout, furniture and facilities in the room are all strong Italian style, some retro atmosphere, old objects are very reassuring. Safety and health, no worries. The temperature in Italy in December looked more than a dozen degrees, but it still felt wet and cold outside the rain, the room was heated, the ground was warm, and I could walk barefoot.
I have received many Chinese tourists here. The manager has been studying the main different habits and preferences of people in different provinces in China, but found that China has a large number of people. She has not understood it. Haha is so cute.
Language is not a barrier, what really makes people communicate smoothly is a heart, I feel it here. I hope I can come and live for a while next time.

I book 5 rooms asking 2 to be on the ground floor, specifying that there are 3 ultra ninety years old. One of the rooms has an indoor staircase (not the maximum for old people); moreover, they don't tell me that the breakfast room is on the floor -1, with a beautiful staircase and no lift. Pessimist breakfast, less than the minimum trade union; unprofessional staff (the check in did not deliver us the keys before we registered all of you, before we paid!). The three 1990s above, standing up to wait for all these preliminary operations (the slowness in making our generals was embarrassing). Circonium on the cake: they're wrong with the count and I realize it the evening of returning, just arrived home (on June 24th); I'm calling them immediately, they ask me to send a mail. They answer after 10 gg and several speeds, telling me that I would have received the refund the next few days. I'm still waiting, I'll have sent 50 mails and called several times. “We passed your communication to the administration”! You are unjust and unhappy!
