L'Imbuto

Just had pizzas, and those were good. However... we&#39;d booked a table, but had to wait for 10 mins to be seated. It was cold - my wife had to put her coat back on. It wasn&#39;t warm outside, so you&#39;d have thought they&#39;d have turned on the heater over the (open) door, but they hadn&#39;t. There was quite a long wait before our orders were taken, then a another long wait before our food arrived. Our young waitress was apologetic - she was good, but the other 2 older more senior staff didn&#39;t seem that bothered. If I was the waitress I&#39;d be looking for a job elsewhere.We can&#39;t recommend it based on today&#39;s experience.

Lovely restaurant within the walls of Lucca owned and managed by a young couple - he is front of house and she is the chef. We had a lovely evening with a warm welcome and excellent food and wine.  The food quality is typical of the region but the style of cooking is fusion which is a really nice change.The restaurant itself has  a very relaxed and elegant ambiance

Impeccable service, nice and relaxed, friendly and very knowledgeable. Food was outstanding making for a very memorable meal.

This was fine dining at its best. A set menu using very fresh local ingredients. Absolutely delicious, surprising, theatrical. It&rsquo;s expensive, but worth it when you see the care and creativity of each dish.

Food consistently impresses both in creativity as in quality. Ambience is fantastic and the service excellent.

The food is good and very creative, the service was ok but could be better, they didn&#39;t take our coats until after a few courses, one of us got meat while I said in the beginning that we don&#39;t eat meat but this was probably a language problem.We&#39;ve ordered the 5 course menu (110 euro) but we got 7 savory dishes and 3 desserts, which was amazing so we could taste a lot of different things.Unfortunately we were the only ones there for lunch and the chef wasn&#39;t (and is basically never) there.The prices are for a Michelin star restaurant but this one isn&#39;t.

Location non semplice da trovare ma veramente molto bella. Abbiamo fatto il men&ugrave; da 7 portate e siamo usciti con la pancia piena e soddisfatta. Lo chef &egrave; venuto in sala a chiedere se andasse tutto bene ed abbiamo molto apprezzato.
