Food Guide

Wuhan's cuisine is incredibly diverse, ranging from the unique Hot Dry Noodles and delicious Wuchang Fish to traditional Fried Bean  Curd Sheets and the historic Fresh Fish Paste Soup Noodles. Each dish showcases the Wuhan locals' profound understanding and passion for flavor. From breakfast to dinner, Wuhan's culinary culture offers a day-long feast for the taste buds.

Hot dry noodles have been deemed the top choice among China's top ten noodle dishes. A staple for Wuhan residents, these noodles can be found easily around the city. The noodles, which are made of alkaline dough, are quick to prepare: cooled and coated with oil before spreading on a surface to cool down. For serving, the noodles are briefly submerged in boiling water, and then topped with sesame paste, sesame oil, vinegar, and other garnishes. For those who prefer a kick, spicy chili oil can be added. This results in a dish offering smooth yet pleasantly chewy noodles enveloped in a rich, flavorful sauce.

Wuchang bream, a key herbivorous fish in China, is prized for its delightful flavor, petite head, and ample meat content. The fish can be prepared in various ways including steamed, braised in oil, red-cooked, or flower-stuffed. For steaming, select a fresh live fish and pair it with ingredients like ham, shiitake mushrooms, winter bamboo shoots, and quality broth. The steaming process requires precise heat control to ensure perfect cooking. The completed dish has an intact form with a luminous, jade-like white appearance, and is attractively adorned with red, white, and black garnishes. The fish's flesh is soft and emits a rich aroma, enhancing the overall eating experience.

A beloved traditional snack from Wuhan, commonly enjoyed as a breakfast item. You can find it at small street stalls and some restaurants. It features a crispy outer layer created from a blend of peeled mung bean flour and eggs, fried to perfection. The filling is a delicious mix of sticky rice, marinated meat, bamboo shoots, and assorted pickles. It is crispy yet soft, delightfully oily without being greasy, with the savory glutinous rice adding a fresh, salty flavor that complements its tender, crunchy texture.

Originating from Wuhan, this age-old traditional delicacy features a soup base prepared from wild crucian carp. To start, the fish is thoroughly cleaned and deboned, and any remnants removed. Seasonings are added and the mixture is gently simmered until the fish disintegrates, infusing the soup with its flavor. The congee's rice noodles are crafted from finely ground indica rice, offering a texture that is smoother and finer than typical rice noodles. The result is a robust and smooth congee with a subtly sweet aftertaste, perfectly paired with crispy fried dough sticks.

Transportation

Wuhan's transportation network is a critical component of the city's infrastructure, with Wuhan Tianhe International Airport and the city's railway stations being key hubs for intercity travel.

Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (WUH) is the primary aviation gateway for the region, located approximately 26 km north of the city center. As a major airport in central China, it serves numerous domestic and international flights. To reach the city from the airport, passengers can take the Wuhan Metro Line 2, which connects directly to the airport, providing a convenient and efficient transfer to the city center.

The city's railway system is anchored by three main stations: Wuhan Railway Station, Hankou Railway Station, and Wuchang Railway Station. Wuhan Railway Station, located in the Hongshan District, is a high-speed rail station that primarily serves high-speed trains on major routes such as the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway. It is accessible via Wuhan Metro Line 2 and Line 4. Hankou Railway Station, situated in the Jianghan District, is a historic station that handles both high-speed and conventional trains. It can be reached by Metro Line 2. Wuchang Railway Station, in the Wuchang District, is a key station on the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and is connected to the city by various bus routes.

Wuhan's Metro system, operated by Wuhan Metro Group Co., Ltd., is a key component of the city's public transportation network. With 12 lines, 300 stations, and a route length of 486.3 km, it is the sixth-busiest in mainland China. Payment options include the Wuhan Tong card, which provides a discount, and multi-day passes for unlimited rides.

The university's blend of academic excellence and natural beauty makes it a must-visit location for those interested in China's educational landscape.

A 1-hour drive from Wuhan to Zishan Lake, Xianning. Daluozhie · Ziyouji, a slow-paced staycation with kids🌿 It is Kengo Kuma's first homestay project in China. It's like a natural art gallery hidden between the lake and mountains. Fish-scale stone walls, courtyard, bamboo, and linen—gentle and textured. No need to rush your itinerary; it's all about a relaxed, non-exhausting way to travel with kids. There are only 19 guest rooms in total, and the courtyard rooms come with private terraces. Full of surprises upon check-in: welcome fruits, snacks, and a heartwarming handwritten card. Kids are instantly charmed the moment they walk in🥰 ▫️Water tea room: Sit, drink tea, daydream, and watch the light and shadows slowly shift. ▫️Private hot spring pool: Soak with the kids on autumn and winter evenings—so warm and cozy. ▫️Lakeside lawn: Run wild and have fun, great for photos, and pet-friendly. ▫️No Art Bookstore: Floor-to-ceiling windows with lake views, perfect for reading picture books quietly with your kids. ▫️Occasional workshops: Coffee ground sachets, botanical envelopes—perfect for parent-child crafts. Forest-themed family hotel near Wuhan — traveler post in Wuhan

Forest-themed family hotel near Wuhan

🌿Hidden gem resort near Wuhan | A slow weekend getaway in a forest paradise Body: We set off from downtown Wuhan and arrived at the Wuhan Urban Construction Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Hotel in about an hour and a half by car. The overall feeling is like blending a forest, a family amusement park, and a resort hotel together. The hotel area is huge, with buildings surrounded by greenery and water features. The air is noticeably more comfortable than in the city, especially suitable for those who want to get away from the crowds for a while without traveling too far. I think there are three highlights: First, the resort has a strong "Senbo Park" feel, with indoor and outdoor family spaces where families with kids can spend the entire day. Second, the hotel's gardens and water features are exquisitely designed, making them very photogenic. Third, the resort atmosphere is well-established; there's no need to rush, making it perfect for sleeping in and strolling around at a leisurely pace. We arrived on Friday afternoon, checked in, and then took a walk around the hotel. The evening light was soft, and the photos we took had great depth. Here are some recommended photo spots: First, the hotel lobby entrance, using the glass curtain wall and greenery as a foreground, is great for full-body shots and back-view photos. Second, the central water walkway, where the water reflections are very clear; I recommend wearing light-colored clothing. Third, the exterior of the family park, which is colorful and great for lively-style photos. Fourth, the garden boardwalk and forest paths, perfect for forest-themed portraits. Fifth, the evening terrace, where taking silhouettes under the sunset feels very resort-like. Tips: It gets significantly busier on weekends and holidays, so I suggest avoiding the peak photo times between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. If you're bringing kids, check the opening hours of the indoor and outdoor parks in advance and plan your schedule accordingly. The hotel area is large, so comfortable shoes are more practical than high heels. If you want to capture water reflections, it's best to choose early morning or evening when the wind is calm. For dining, I recommend booking popular time slots in advance to reduce waiting times. Overall, this isn't a traditional tourist attraction for checking off a list, but rather a resort hotel better suited for relaxation, family time, small gatherings with friends, and photography. If you're looking for a place not far from Wuhan with a great environment and complete facilities for an overnight stay, this is a relatively hassle-free choice. Hashtags:

A must-visit for a relaxing getaway near Wuhan — traveler post in Wuhan

A must-visit for a relaxing getaway near Wuhan

🌿Top-tier family vacation spot near Wuhan | Chengjian Kaiyuan Senbo is perfect for a weekend recharge Last weekend, my family and I stayed at the Wuhan Chengjian Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Hotel. Our overall impression: it was stress-free, photogenic, and the kids didn't want to leave. The hotel is tucked away in a lush, garden-like setting. With its white walls, grey tiles, lake, and courtyards, you get a sense of "escaping the city" the moment you arrive. We left on Friday afternoon; the drive wasn't long, making it perfect for a 2-day, 1-night short getaway. The highlights are definitely the indoor water park and the outdoor gardens. The water park is temperature-controlled, so kids can play all day without parents having to worry about them being out in the sun. The garden area is great for walking, cycling, and taking portraits. The lake, wooden boardwalks, lawns, and rooftops are all very photogenic. The hotel's public areas are spacious, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The family rooms are roomy enough that you won't feel cramped even when traveling with seniors and children. I've compiled a few tried-and-tested photo spots: First, the wooden boardwalk by the lake—I recommend shooting between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM when it's less crowded and the light is soft; you can capture both the hotel's reflection and the layers of the garden. Second, by the outdoor pool—shooting silhouettes against the backlight in the afternoon gives a great vacation vibe. Third, near the lobby's floor-to-ceiling windows—the combination of wooden structures and the courtyard water feature is perfect for quiet, sophisticated indoor shots. Fourth, the window seats in the restaurant—breakfast with a lake view makes for effortless, relaxed-vibe photos. Fifth, the lakeside lights at night—the reflection of the warm-colored buildings is perfect for atmospheric shots. Must-read tips to avoid common pitfalls: For the water park, I recommend bringing your own swimsuit, sandals, and waterproof bag, as there aren't many options if you buy them on-site. It gets crowded on weekends, so it's best to check the opening hours for popular attractions and window seats in the restaurant in advance and plan accordingly. The hotel grounds are quite large, so families with kids should travel light, but definitely bring a stroller and sun protection. Watch out for mosquitoes and the steps near the wetlands when taking photos by the lake. If you want to take photos without crowds, try to avoid the times after 10:00 AM and the peak hours for family activities in the afternoon. Overall, this isn't a luxury hotel, but it's a great place for a family vacation, a weekend getaway with friends, or for couples looking to take atmospheric photos. Dining, accommodation, and activities are all in one place, so you don't have to keep moving around—it's perfect for those who want a "lazy" vacation. If you're looking for a place near Wuhan where you can get a change of scenery without traveling too far, Kaiyuan Senbo is a great choice.

Late autumn in Wuhan is when the city is at its most beautiful — traveler post in Wuhan

Late autumn in Wuhan is when the city is at its most beautiful

I finally understand: the most beautiful season in Wuhan is never summer, but the gentle and healing late autumn. It's neither too cold nor too hot, with a mild breeze, no crowded throngs of people, and the whole city painted in shades of gold and orange—the atmosphere is simply perfect. East Lake in late autumn is the main event. The water redwoods in the Luoyan Scenic Area are turning red, reflecting on the clear lake surface. Walking along the winding wooden boardwalk, every step offers a new view, quiet and photogenic. The plane trees in the city streets are slowly turning yellow, with sunlight filtering through the leaves to cast dappled shadows; just taking a stroll is incredibly healing. The century-old ginkgo tree in Hanyang is filled with gold, and the old architecture paired with the golden fallen leaves comes with its own vintage filter. You can still occasionally smell the lingering scent of osmanthus on the street. The evening breeze is gentle, the river flows slowly, and it all perfectly sets off the autumn charm of the "River City." There's no need to rush to tourist spots; just wandering slowly through Wuhan in autumn is pure happiness. Feel the river breeze, see the forests painted in layers of color, and experience the unique relaxation and tenderness of this city. If you come to Wuhan, you must save a trip for late autumn—it's truly unforgettable.

Wuhan family getaway | Staying in the city center for a micro-vacation is so chill — traveler post in Wuhan

Wuhan family getaway | Staying in the city center for a micro-vacation is so chill

Don't want to travel far with the kids on the weekend, but still want that vacation vibe? This time, we decided to stay at the New World Wuhan Hotel. It's right in the heart of Hankou, directly connected to K11. You can go shopping just by heading downstairs—they've really mastered the art of convenient family travel 👏 📍The location is unbeatable It's directly connected to K11, and you can walk to Wuhan International Plaza, Wuguang, and Heartland 66. After the kids fell asleep, we took turns heading downstairs to look around; it was even easy to grab a milk tea. Traveling with kids is exhausting, but this shopping district right downstairs setup saved us so much energy and time, which we spent with our little ones instead. By the way, the hotel is pet-friendly, so we're considering bringing our fur baby next time 🐶 🦆Happy Duck Themed Room, the kids screamed with joy when they walked in We booked the Happy Duck Themed Cozy Deluxe Triple Room. As soon as we opened the door, the room was filled with cute decorations, a small tent, plush toys, and exclusive children's amenities—everything was provided. The bed was wide enough for two adults and one child to sleep comfortably without feeling crowded. The soundproofing was great, too; the kids played hard all day and fell asleep the moment their heads hit the pillow, so this mom finally got some quiet time to scroll on her phone 📱 Every room comes with a bathtub, so we gave the kids a bath at night and tucked them straight into bed afterward. Five-star convenience rating ✨ 🌿6F outdoor pool + garden, a rare patch of green in the city center Hidden on the 6th floor is an outdoor pool connected to a garden. It's rare to find such a setup in the heart of Hankou. It instantly gives off that urban oasis vacation vibe and is great for photos. The garden right next to the pool is worth a visit—soak up the sun, feel the breeze, and let the kids run around while the adults take a breather. It's a rare, peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle after shopping. 🍽️Dinner + breakfast at the hotel restaurant, the whole family enjoyed it We had the seafood and barbecue buffet on the night we checked in. The seafood station was generous with shrimp, crab, and shellfish. The barbecue station offered freshly grilled items, with meat skewers and seafood served in rotation. There was also a long spread of hot dishes, cold dishes, desserts, and fruits, so the adults could eat at their own pace while the kids picked out what they liked. Breakfast the next day featured Wuhan specialties like hot dry noodles, doupi, and mianwo, and the kids found their favorite bread and fruit too. We enjoyed a leisurely meal as a family before heading out, without having to rush out early to find food. This really makes traveling with kids so much easier and more comfortable. 🎁Surprise souvenir: New Travel Colorful Realm hand-drawn coloring book We also received the New Travel Colorful Realm hand-drawn coloring book, a collaboration between New World Hotels & Resorts and illustrator Nianhua. The art style is adorable, and our little one started coloring in it right away. We can keep playing with it at home after checking out—it's like bringing a little piece of the hotel's charm home with us 🖍️ The biggest takeaway from our stay is: you don't have to waste time on the road. The kids had a blast in the themed room, we were able to relax by the garden pool, meals were taken care of downstairs, and the shopping district was just an elevator ride away. Parents are relaxed, kids are happy—this Wuhan family getaway route is worth saving 💯

A guide to relaxing family getaways near Wuhan — traveler post in Wuhan

A guide to relaxing family getaways near Wuhan

🌿 Top choice for family vacations near Wuhan | Wuhan Urban Construction Kaiyuan Senbo is perfect for a relaxing getaway We left downtown Wuhan on the weekend and arrived at the Wuhan Urban Construction Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Hotel after a short drive. I was just looking for a place to escape the city's pace, but this place exceeded my expectations—it’s like "a park moved into a resort." The hotel is surrounded by wetlands, greenery, and water, and the air is noticeably fresher than in the city. Walking along the wooden boardwalk in the early morning, with nothing but the sound of water and birds, the vacation vibe hit me instantly. ✨ Highlights This place is perfect for 2 types of people: those looking to relax and families wanting to let their kids burn off some energy. The hotel grounds are expansive, with an outdoor courtyard, wetland trails, a pool area, and a family water park that are all worth exploring at a leisurely pace. The family area is very kid-friendly, so parents don't have to be on edge and can watch their children play from the nearby seating area. If you enjoy photography, the lakeside boardwalk, courtyard paths, and the hotel facade in the evening are all very photogenic. If you want to take it easy, just slow down your pace—half a day of outdoor walking and half a day of pool or indoor family activities is just right. 📸 Photo spots 1. Lakeside wooden boardwalk: I recommend going in the evening when there are reflections on the water. Stand on one side of the boardwalk and take a shot from behind to capture the hotel and greenery in the frame. 2. Courtyard wetland trail: The light is softest in the morning, perfect for capturing family interactions and relaxed travel photos. 3. Pool leisure area: Wearing light-colored clothing makes for better photos. I recommend avoiding the harsh midday sun; shooting in the morning or after 4:00 PM looks more natural. 4. Guest room floor-to-ceiling windows: No need to pose. Just sitting by the window with a coffee or tidying up your luggage instantly captures that vacation vibe. 5. Hotel night view: Once the lights come on at night, the reflections of the buildings and the courtyard atmosphere look even more sophisticated than during the day. ⚠️ Tips for a smoother trip It gets significantly more crowded on weekends and holidays, especially in the family area, so I recommend arriving at popular attractions early to avoid the crowds. Families with children should confirm the open areas, age restrictions for family facilities, and dining times in advance. The hotel's outdoor area is quite large, so I recommend packing a pair of comfortable walking shoes for your children. Don't forget sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Dining prices aren't exactly budget-friendly, so I suggest checking set menus or buffet times in advance to avoid last-minute decision fatigue. Also, there is a noticeable temperature difference between morning and evening by the lake and on the wooden boardwalk, so bring a light jacket if you're visiting in the spring or autumn. 📍 Recommended itinerary After checking in on Saturday afternoon, you can rest in your room for a while, then take a walk through the courtyard and wetland trails. Head to the lakeside for photos in the evening, and have dinner at the hotel. Plan some family water park or pool activities for Sunday morning, and take a few more photos of the courtyard before checking out. This pace isn't rushed, so the kids won't get tired, and the adults can actually get some rest. Overall, the Wuhan Urban Construction Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Hotel is a great choice for a short weekend getaway, especially for families and those who enjoy natural surroundings. It’s not the type of "stunningly luxurious" resort, but it excels in its comfortable environment, open spaces, and kid-friendly atmosphere. A 2-day, 1-night stay is just right.

If you want to take photos with light and shadow, try to enter the museum between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, when the natural light is best. 3. The art museum and the Provincial Museum are very close. If you have enough time, you can also include the Provincial Museum in your itinerary.

Not abroad, this is a hidden gem of a city in Henan that is severely underrated! Sorry, Xinyang! I underestimated you

⭐️Transportation 🚄Take a high-speed train from Wuhan to Xinyang East Station in 40 mins. Renting a car on the B2 floor for a road trip is very convenient. 🚘It takes 2.5 hours to drive from Wuhan to Xinyang. ⭐️Day 1 Jigong Mountain—Bolden Forest Park—Youth Camp ⭐️Day 2 Haotang Village—Jianshan Coffee—Peacock Island ⭐️Day 3 Xingsuchuan Beach Camp 📍Jigong Mountain ⛰️Named for its resemblance to a rooster heralding the dawn, it's a summer resort in southern Henan. You can choose to hike or take a shuttle to the summit. Standing on "Baoxiao Peak" (Dawn-Heralding Peak), you can take in the panoramic views. If you're lucky, you might even see the sea of clouds over the mountains☁️ The local stir-fry on the mountain is very affordable; my friend and I ordered two dishes for less than 50💰 It's cool in the summer, so you can bring your family here to escape the heat during summer vacation🍃 📍Bolden Forest Park The cedar forests in Wuhan are packed with people, but it's relatively quiet here. The romantic forest is full of greenery, and the bald cypress forest is stunning—every photo you take is Instagram-worthy📷 📍Youth Camp A city campsite right near Xinyang East Station. It's very relaxing to take a walk and browse the market with friends after dinner. There's even a Ferris wheel🎡 It looks super beautiful when lit up at night! 📍Haotang Village A small, quaint, and tranquil village with small bridges and flowing water, perfect for a slow-paced life. You can go stream trekking or camping. There are many teahouses and courtyards🍵 The atmosphere is great for photos, reminding people of "Meet Yourself" (a popular show). It's so comfortable to just drink tea and stroll around😌 📍Jianshan Coffee A coffee shop opened in Xinyang's "Altay," and the scenery lives up to its name☕️ The courtyard is beautiful. Ordering a cup of coffee and sitting there for the whole afternoon is worth it! 📍Peacock Island Xinyang's "inland sea"🤣 The lake water is a super healing shade of blue💙 I recommend arriving around 2 or 3 PM so you can watch the sunset🌅 📍Xingsuchuan Beach Camp Xinyang's "mini Maldives of the Central Plains"🏖️ Every photo looks like a vacation blockbuster📸 You can go boating, play in the sand, and watch the sunset. Staying in a starry tent at night is so romantic✨ 📝Travel Tips ✔️Self-driving or renting a car in the city is recommended for easier access to attractions. ✔️The weather is getting warmer, so be sure to use sunscreen and mosquito repellent🦟 ✔️For accommodation, you can choose the area around Xinyang courtyards or Xingsuchuan; both are beautiful. The itinerary above can be adjusted as needed👌 It's also suitable for a weekend getaway~ It's a pity I didn't have time to visit Wenxin Tea Village😔 I'll save it for next time!

Four hotels in ten years: Is IHG the strongest in Central and Western China?

IHG® has certainly been busy in Chongqing's high-end hotel scene over the past few years. In just ten years, IHG has built up four high-end brands in Chongqing with distinct positioning: Regent, InterContinental, Vignette Collection, and Hotel Indigo. Crucially, these properties are almost all located in the core area where the two rivers meet👇 ◎ Regent Chongqing | 2016 Located at Caixin Plaza in Jiangbeizui, it follows a refined luxury route. As a veteran in Chongqing's high-end hotel scene, Regent has always been a heavyweight card for the IHG family. ◎ InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City | 2020 Occupying the landmark of Chaotianmen, its 42nd-floor sky lobby and Crystal Sky Bridge are its signatures. With 380 guest rooms, it is a mature, full-service urban luxury hotel. ◎ Vignette Collection Chongqing TFT | 2026 IHG's luxury boutique collection brand, which opened early this year in the upper floors of the Times Financial Center in Jiangbeizui. With 212 guest rooms, it features a design theme inspired by Chongqing's bridge culture and is another high-altitude hotel with river views. ◎ Hotel Indigo Chongqing Chaotianmen | 2026 Q4 The new star of the show. Featuring 214 guest rooms and suites, it is located in the Raffles City T3S tower. Designed by HBA, it blends old Chongqing's dock culture, the mountain city's topography, and cyberpunk elements, and features a sky bar and restaurant, as well as a pool in the Crystal Sky Bridge. Regent and Vignette Collection are in Jiangbeizui, while InterContinental and Hotel Indigo are in Chaotianmen. These two core areas, facing each other across the river, occupy almost all of Chongqing's most iconic high-altitude river-view hotel resources. Compared to cities like Chengdu, Wuhan, and Xi'an, this brand portfolio in Chongqing is truly distinctive. With Hotel Indigo set to open soon, Chongqing's high-end hotel scene is gradually staging a comeback from its previously undervalued status. Looking at the current layout, Chongqing has become an IHG high-end hotel market well worth studying. Now, all that's missing is a Kimpton to join the party, right?

Time to enjoy the chrysanthemums! It's that time of year again for the golden autumn chrysanthemum exhibition! Photos from Shahu Park

The 43rd golden autumn chrysanthemum exhibition: "Wetlands in autumn, chrysanthemums shining in the river city" ⏰Oct 30–Nov 30, 2026 📍Shahu Park Area C, Wuhan (free admission) 🚇Metro Line 2, Pangxiejia Station, walk to the South Gate It's that time of year again for the annual chrysanthemum exhibition~ There are many exhibition areas, so you can visit the one closest to you. How could autumn be complete without chrysanthemums? I've been to about three of these exhibitions now. The chrysanthemums are no longer the monotonous flowers I remember. Not only are there many varieties, but they are also stunningly beautiful. 🌼Come and enjoy these beautiful flowers~ There are way too many visitors on the weekends. You can walk through the park to get to Han Street Wanda. This is a route I take often. After your visit, you can go grab a bite to eat or do some shopping. 📸Photography info: Fujifilm XS20 (NC filter)

Yellow Crane Tower

My hometown's Yellow Crane Tower is known as the "Number One Tower Under Heaven." Its majestic eaves and rich cultural heritage offer panoramic views of the Yangtze River and the three towns of Wuhan. No matter how many times I've visited, each visit evokes a different feeling; it is truly a symbol of Wuhan.

Hubei Provincial Museum

The exhibited artifacts were quite good; I've also been to joint exhibitions organized by museums like the Hunan Provincial Museum. The Kremlin artifacts here are well-prepared and thoughtfully designed. However, the souvenir and merchandise section was rather boring. I was thinking of buying a pendant or something, but that saved me some money.

Qingchuan Pavilion

The scenic area is filled with the fragrance of osmanthus blossoms. From the top, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Yangtze River Bridge and the Yellow Crane Tower. At the very top, watching the ships on the Yangtze and the cars and trains on the bridge, with the breeze blowing, is very pleasant, and it's not too crowded. The scenic area isn't large; a leisurely hour is about right to appreciate the scenery. Qingchuan Pavilion and Guishan Scenic Area are directly connected by the Iron Gate Pass, which leads to the West Gate of Guishan. Climbing the mountain and enjoying the breeze and osmanthus fragrance is a wonderful experience.

East Lake Scenic Area

Free and open 24/7, the perfect spot for cycling. The air is fresh, with plenty of trees and plants, and the air is filled with the fragrance of flowers. The breeze by the lake is incredibly refreshing. There are also many birds and flowers, so please be mindful of their habitat. The scenic area is extremely large. The trees are incredibly thick and dense. Highly recommended, a must-see attraction. Please be careful while cycling.

Hankou Beach

The south entrance of Hankou River Beach is very close to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street. It's a free attraction with excellent greenery, walkways, plenty of benches and trees, and a pleasant environment. You can see ships coming and going on the Yangtze River, and across the river, the skyscrapers of Wuchang stand tall. You can also see the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and the Second Yangtze River Bridge, which integrate urban living, green spaces, and exercise facilities. Enjoying the river breeze is very pleasant.

Wuhan Liangjiang Cruise (Night Cruise on Yangtze River)

This was totally worth it! The cruise was exceptionally long, offering views of almost both banks of the Yangtze River. However, the toll area at the bow was quite expensive; it cost over 300 yuan for one adult and one child! My friend and I, being adults, immediately ran away when we heard that price. Also, if you're going to be taking lots of photos outside the boat, be sure to dress warmly, as the river wind is really strong, especially at night when it gets quite cold. But it's very close to Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, so you can grab a hot drink there when you disembark.

Night Tour Of Yellow Crane Tower

"The ancients have departed on the Yellow Crane Tower, but today, light and shadow intoxicate the city of Wuhan. As night falls and the lights come on, the thousand-year-old Yellow Crane Tower radiates a new vitality amidst the dazzling lights. Standing atop the tower and gazing into the distance, the Yangtze River Bridge stretches like a rainbow across the water, its shimmering surface reflecting the twinkling lights of the buildings. This is not only a visual feast but also a dialogue across time. A fusion of the ancient and the modern, a grand spectacle—the night in Wuhan is breathtakingly beautiful!"
