This trip covers two must-see attractions in Linfen, Shanxi: Hongdong Guangsheng Temple and Ji County Hukou Waterfall. If you like historical architecture and natural landscapes, definitely bookmark this line! Guangsheng Temple has a Yuan Dynasty pagoda and murals. It's super feel for hipsters to take pictures. When you go to Hukou Waterfall, you really feel the water of the Yellow River from the sky.

First stop: Hongdong Guangsheng Temple
Guangsheng Temple is located on the east side of Hongguang Road, Hongdong County, Linfen City, and is open from 08:00 to 17:30 (extended to 18:30 during daylight saving time). The temple is most famous for the Feihong Pagoda, which has obvious architectural features from the Yuan Dynasty and beautifully preserved ancient murals. You can't stop taking pictures with your camera! Guangsheng Temple is actually divided into three parts: the South Temple, the North Temple, and the Flying Rainbow Pagoda.
Tip: The stone steps in the temple are not too steep, but it is sincerely recommended to wear sneakers, and there are many ancient trees in the temple, you can feel a touch of Zen - want to avoid large tour groups, visiting in the morning opening hours is the best.

Second stop: Ji County·Shanxi Yellow River Hukou Waterfall Tourist Area
Go to Hukou Falls, the address is Jixian, Linfen, open year-round from 07:00 to 18:00, tickets 90 yuan. Hukou Waterfall is really the largest yellow waterfall in Asia. The Yellow River water flows down Hukou, full of volume and shock. You can feel the dominance of the phrase "a thousand miles of Yellow River harvests in one pot". Especially up close, the water is misty and the whole person is surrounded by the energy of nature!
Tip: Hukou Falls will be crowded once the peak season, it is recommended to avoid holidays. Due to the heavy humidity at the site, sincerely bring a raincoat and protect your phone/camera, be safe on wet and slippery ground. In addition, there are small stalls around the waterfall where you can buy local specialty snacks, such as yellow rice cool powder and red date cake.
