Qingshen Zhongyan Temple
Qingshen Zhongyan, a temple built in the Tang Dynasty, is one of the Buddhist temple jungles in southern Sichuan. Zhongyan belongs to the Longquan Mountains, and the higher part is Cimuyan, which is 616 meters above sea level. Zhongyan is famous for its beautiful landscapes and beautiful forests, and there is a saying that "the best place for forests and springs in West Sichuan". Legend has it that it was the fifth Rohan Nuo-na dojo of the founder of the mountain. The three temples in Zhongyan have their own characteristics. The lower temple is close to the Minjiang River, and the rock gully is quiet. About half a mile into the mountain, you will arrive at Huoyu Pond, which is said to be the cave house of Cimulong, and the fish came out to hear the applause. The three characters "Calling Fish Pond" on the rock were written by Su Dongpo, a great writer of the Song Dynasty, when he married Wang Fu. The Middle Temple is on a steep slope, and there are dense Buddhist shrines in the nearby rocks, and there are many stone statues carved. Going up, you will reach the overlying rock where Huang Tingjian inscribed "Yuquan". Leshan Giant Buddha
The Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as the Lingyun Giant Buddha, is situated on the cliff of Qiluan Peak on Lingyun Mountain at the confluence of the Min River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River in Leshan, Sichuan. It is a colossal seated stone statue of Maitreya carved during the Tang Dynasty, standing approx. 70 m tall, with a single instep spacious enough to accommodate over a hundred people. Legend has it that the turbulent waters at the confluence once frequently capsized passing boats. To calm the currents, the monk Haitong of Lingyun Temple initiated the carving of the Buddha. Over several generations, craftsmen continued the construction, which took approx. ninety years to complete. On the cliff to the right of the Buddha, an inscription from the Tang Dynasty titled "Jiazhou Lingyun Temple Great Maitreya Stone Statue" remains to this day, revealing its original name—the Great Maitreya Stone Statue of Jiazhou Lingyun Temple. The common route to visit the giant Buddha is to first arrive at Lingyun Temple beside the Buddha's head, then descend along the winding Jiuzhaigou plank road built against the cliff. View the Buddha's spiral hair buns and robe folds up close, and reach the platform at the Buddha's feet to look up at the full figure. Only then can one truly appreciate the grandeur of "a mountain being a Buddha, and a Buddha being a mountain." Lingyun Temple has continuous incense offerings, and many travelers also join their palms here to pray for blessings. For a different perspective, take a boat cruise or view from the riverside of Leshan ancient city: the continuous mountain outlines of Wuyou Mountain, Lingyun Mountain, and Guicheng Mountain resemble a giant reclining Buddha facing upward, with the grand Buddha seated precisely at its chest—creating the marvel of "Buddha within Buddha." Meishan San Su Shrine Museum
The main complex of Three-Su Temple Museum includes the front gate, the front hall and the public hall. The main hall, Qixian Hall and Ruilian Pavilion were built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. The structures built and reconditioned in modern times follow the pattern of the 4th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, making it a classic and complete ancient Sichuan structure complex of Qing Dynasty. The main hall has the statues of Su Xun, Su Shi and Su Zhe. A set of gardens are formed by Lvzhou Pavilion, Baoyue Pavilion and Yunyu Tower connecting by a pool in the east. The hall consists of a ternary quadrangle dwelling. This county town is a hidden gem! Zhongyan Temple is perfect for family trips; even kindergarteners found it easy and wanted to come back! We'll definitely go crab catching during the summer vacation! The air is full of negative ions and oxygen – highly recommended!!

Those who admire Su Dongpo should definitely visit Meishan, his hometown. The Three Su Temple is not large, but there are still many things worth seeing, such as the garden scenery and the inscriptions on the steles.

The scenery was beautiful, and there was plenty of time to take photos on the boat. The Buddha statue was breathtaking. However, the parking lot was a bit far from the pier, and waiting for the shuttle bus was time-consuming. It would be even better if the boat ticket price were lower.

Wanfu Cave is definitely worth a visit! The cave is incredibly cool and refreshing, a natural air conditioner. The stalactites and stalagmites are in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and the lighting creates a wonderful atmosphere. The walkways are well-maintained, making it easy for both the elderly and children to explore. It's a great place to escape the summer heat and relax; I highly recommend it!

I set off from Baoguo Temple Service Center at 7:00 AM, took a 2-hour bus ride to Leidongping, and then hiked to the Golden Summit. I didn't take the cable car; it took about an hour to reach the summit. It was foggy that day, so I couldn't see the Buddha statues clearly. I started my descent around 1:00 PM. I saw a few monkeys in the distance. After getting off the cable car, I took another bus to Wannian Temple. The bus pass allows for two hops on and off. When I arrived at Wannian Temple, I saw the Wuliang Hall, which is even older than the Golden Summit. I took the last bus down the mountain at 6:00 PM.

We had such an amazing time. The pandas are well looked after and very active. It rained when we got there but that didn’t detract from the experience. We ended up staying there for just over 8 hours. I would highly recommend

"Jiazhou has many ancient towns, and Suji stands out among them." Suji Ancient Town has fertile land, convenient water and land transportation, and is a gathering place for merchants. It was an important water and land port in Leshan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and also a must-pass place for pilgrims and lay Buddhists to worship Mount Emei.

外地人第一次来，水街的夜景还是非常不错的，很久没看到这么漂亮的夜景了，小桥流水，亭台楼阁，连廊灯带，仙雾飘飘，相映成趣，古色古香，可见设计上是花了不少心思的，景区免费游览，晚上还有节目表演，挺适合走走逛逛，拍照打卡的，赞一个。
