Montage de l'eau in Dalian is modeled after Venice, featuring over 200 European-style castles where gondolas glide between them, transporting you to a foreign land. Here, you can immerse yourself in exotic charm while writing your own water city story. As night falls and the city lights up, the enchanting architectural illumination of Venice Water Town evokes the charm of Shanghai's Huangpu River. The uniquely styled Bruges walls and the European-style castle buildings lining the canal banks create a picturesque reflection on the water. A gentle breeze rustles through the trees, while winding waterways and shimmering ripples immerse you in a dreamy reverie. The poetic romance of Dalian comes alive here, where the allure of blue skies and starry nights blends with the glistening water, whisking away summer's heat and transporting you into a fantastical dreamscape.China · Dalian

Andong Old Street is a retro-themed cultural commercial street in Dandong, created based on memories of the old city. The architecture references the style of Dandong's old streets from the 1920s and 1930s, replicating some landmark buildings and street names, and is complemented by vintage objects and street sculptures to recreate the market atmosphere of old Andong. The internal roads are named after the bustling old streets of that time, such as Zhongfu Street, Tianhougong Street, Xinglong Street, and Jubao Street. The entire area is divided into two parts: the Old Andong Food Street and the Andong Tourist Reception Service Center, integrating nostalgic sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The first floor gathers Northeast specialties and various local snacks. You can eat Menzi (mung bean jelly), Dagao (sticky rice cake), and grilled cold noodles while walking around. The second floor is mostly home to creative and specialty shops, which are fun to browse and great for photos. Folk performances are held here year-round, with scenes like rickshaws, old police patrols, and Sanxian drum storytelling performed from time to time. The Old Street Stage also features singing, dancing, and stage plays. Watching a performance while holding a snack is a great way to experience the old street vibe.Dandong · 46 km from Fengcheng

There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.

Laoniubei is the most breathtaking and unique place in Dandong Fenghuang Mountain. It is a naturally formed steep ridge, less than a meter wide, and is the only way to the main peak. The entire ridge is made of stone, with cliffs on both sides, and climbing it is thrilling.

The memorial hall is big and nice. It is good to learn about the history of that year. There are also monuments and various weapons on display. It is nice to see them. There are too few seats in the memorial hall, and there is no place to sit when you are tired of visiting.

On the second day of my visit to Dandong, it started to drizzle outside. I changed my plan temporarily and came to Andong Old Street again to make up for the regret of last night. Today I came to eat and shop! I strongly recommend stinky tofu, small skewers and fried yogurt!

I rode a shared bike along Zhongjie Street in Shenyang to get to the Shenyang Imperial Palace. The street was really lively, but apparently, you can't park bikes along the way; you have to go around to a farther area to park. It seems that the city center commercial street isn't suitable for shared bikes. The next morning, I walked back to Zhongjie Street. There weren't many people on the street that morning. I saw Liu Laogen Grand Stage, but when I turned into the Imperial Palace, there was already a long queue waiting for it to open.
