The Shandong Museum is located in eastern Jinan. As one of China's earliest provincial-level comprehensive museums, it houses over 400,000 artifacts with strong regional characteristics, particularly rich collections of ceramics, bronze ware, oracle bones, bamboo slips, Han Dynasty stone reliefs, costumes, calligraphy and paintings, rare ancient books, and revolutionary relics. Tai'an Old Street
Tai'an Old Street is located north of Tianpinghu Road and west of Meishan West Road in Tai'an City. It is designed as a landscape pattern of "one axis, five districts and multiple streets and alleys". The core of the old street is the landscape axis, which runs through mid-spring, mid-summer, mid-autumn, mid-winter and the waterfront landscape area. Going north along the landscape axis, the fountains in the fountain belt add a lively atmosphere to the old street, creating a beautiful artistic conception of "small bridges and flowing water". The unevenness of the bluestone road further highlights the quaint color of the old street. The old street combines traditional Taishan elements and the design concept of the twenty-four solar terms. The building blocks are named after the solar terms, and the paving of the landscape area changes with the solar terms, creating a unique solar term atmosphere. The broken line and curve design along the river create a rich waterfront landscape, which is connected to the Panhe Scenic Area. Ancient Town of Qingzhou
Qingzhou is one of the ancient nine provinces of China. Since the early Western Han Dynasty, six cities—Guang County, Guanggu City, Dongyang City, Nanyang City, Dongguan Weizi City, and Qicheng—were successively built on this land, with a continuous urban history spanning over two thousand years. Today, the Ancient Town of Qingzhou has been comprehensively protected and restored, forming three major districts: the Beiguan ancient block in Dongyang City, the Ouyuan historical and cultural block and the South Gate block in Nanyang City, and the Zhaode ancient block in Dongguan Weizi City. Government buildings, traditional residences, and classical gardens are scattered across hundreds of ancient streets and alleys, such as North Gate Street and East Gate Street, with their blue bricks and dark tiles showcasing distinct Ming and Qing architectural styles. Unlike many entirely reconstructed ancient towns, this is a "living ancient town," where original residents still live in the old streets and alleys, and intangible cultural heritage items like the cuoqin are passed down on the streets, blending the vibrancy of daily life with ancient charm. A visit can begin by ascending the Fucai Gate Tower at the south gate of ancient Nanyang City for a panoramic view of the town's sea of dark tiles. Ouyuan is a preserved classical garden within the town, originally the eastern garden of the Ming Dynasty's Prince of Heng's residence and later the private garden of Feng Pu, a grand secretary during the Qing Kangxi era. Its three-peak rockery embodies the grandeur of northern landscapes. Figures like Fan Zhongyan and Ouyang Xiu once served as officials here, and Li Qingzhao lived in Qingzhou for over a decade, composing numerous ci poems. Historical relics like the Qingzhou Prefecture Examination Hall are also scattered throughout the streets, where traces of this cultural legacy can often be encountered. This was my first time visiting Baotu Spring. I went in the afternoon to avoid the crowds, so the experience wasn't too bad. The three springs were bubbling away, and the water was crystal clear. No wonder it's called the City of Springs! 👍

It's very worthwhile, but it's also very crowded, which might slightly detract from the overall experience. However, the people are incredibly welcoming, and there are many beautiful spots for taking photos. The food is also affordable and inexpensive, which kids enjoy. I'll definitely go back when it's less crowded.

Unexpectedly, it was a special session with Teacher Lu. The coordination was very smooth, with a dedicated assistant team. The team members were all dressed formally. Teacher Lu's explanation was witty, humorous, vivid, and captivating. The route was planned according to the historical timeline, and the headset was very clear. Although there were many people, we still managed to see all ten of the museum's most treasured exhibits.

There aren't many people here. You can come and see the river. The river is not very famous, unlike the Yangzhou Ancient Grand Canal, where you can walk along the river. There is only a light show here. It's okay, I stood here for a while and then left!

Taishan Xiucheng is located on the south side of Tianping Lake, west of Tai'an. It is a newly developed cultural and tourism project in the local area. The streets inside are all antique buildings. There are several theater performances of Railway Guerrilla Warfare every day. Going north, you will reach the shore of Tianping Lake at the foot of Mount Tai.

When visiting Qingzhou Ancient City, the Fucai Gate Tower is a must-see, considered the heart of the ancient city. There aren't many other attractions within the ancient city, but the tower has a great location, with convenient access via sightseeing electric carts. There are also plenty of food stalls to explore nearby.

Family! Tai'an's Tianping Lake is so cool! The lake water is so clear and sparkling, surrounded by green trees, and the air is so good. You can take a boat tour on the lake and have a picnic by the lake. There are just a few entertainment activities, but the scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is good. Come here to relax and your mood will be better. Just go for a shower!
