Reviews: From Banff: Sunset Lake Louise, Moraine Lake & Wildlife Tour
Guest User2026-09-28
Our tour guide was super sweet and was so patient with everyone in the group. The tour of the lakes was nice. We were a bit disappointed by the wildlife part of the tour. The guide went a bit too fast to make out any wildlife that may have been out there. We did get back early so time was not an issue. Also, some of the people in our group had ordered sandwiches while we never had the option to do so when booking our tour. The people that received the food felt very uncomfortable eating their food as the rest of us did not have any. It just felt awkward for all on tour.

Reviews: 2025 Winner-Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston Canyon Banff Town

The tour was well organized and mostly on time. Our driver was also a very friendly and enthusiastic guide. She was extremely helpful at every stop, assisting everyone off the bus and walking us toward the attractions while clearly explaining the directions and schedule. She also repeated the meeting times to make sure everyone remembered them. The only minor issue was that the itinerary could have been written more clearly, as I initially misunderstood and thought some additional stops were included. The price was very reasonable compared with other tours I’ve taken. However, the time at each stop felt a little short, and the tour finished earlier than expected. I think extending the itinerary by another 1–2 hours would allow guests to enjoy the destinations more comfortably. Overall, a very good tour and highly recommended.

I went to Moraine, Lake Louise, Two Jack, and Minnewanka. It was so awesome, and tour guide Murray was so kind and gave such a great explanation!!! I really want to book this tour again if I go to Banff again :)) (The guide was so friendly, and the tour was really enjoyable.) I was so happy because I took so many pretty photos hehehe

We did many adventures with many tour operators during our four day trip to Banff, and Nolan and this trip remain as our favorite. We saw terrific wildlife including a herd of elk, big horn sheep, mule deer, and several birds. The locations we visited around Banff provided spectacular views from all angles. Nolan was fun, engaging, informed, and showed a pride in the area. He also was very safe and I had confidence in his ability to navigate the hilly windy roads. I’m so glad we did this on our first day so we were oriented to the area and knew places to go back to on our own. I highly recommend it!
