The cave network is immense and we get to see only a fraction of it, but what we do see in an overwhelming display of massive structures. There are other caves, but this is truly spectacular and truly worth a visit.

My partner and I booked this tour because we like knowing the histories of the places we visit. Despite many travels to Europe and Italy in the past, neither of us had been to Trieste. Our tour guide was very well prepared and able to answer all of our questions. She was also flexible enough to begin the tour in a different location than she normally does because there was no parking near our hotel. I would recommend this tour to anyone provided they are healthy enough to walk up and down Trieste’s hilly terrain.

Great to be able to see the sights by bus. We left the bus on stop 10 and spent the next two hours exploring Miramare Castle which was fantastic. Amazing to see all the beach goers enjoying the water and sun. The bus was on time to pick up us. Overall great way to see the many major sites of the city and experience the castle.
