Reviews: Hato bus experience: Tokyo half-day tour
Guest User2026-10-31
This half-day tour was excellent! I highly recommend it to those with good English skills. The itinerary is relaxed and allows you to visit three classic locations! The tour guide speaks fluent and clear English without the typical Japanese accent. She also offers insightful commentary on life philosophies and social phenomena in Japan from various perspectives, demonstrating her high level of cultural refinement. Her service was impeccably Japanese – warm, polite, and courteous. We were the only Chinese group; everyone else was from Europe or America, with a few Indians. The group was small, and everyone was very well-behaved. Most importantly, the entire tour was orderly – no one was late, no one was noisy, and no one ate snacks on the bus! The bus was also very new! At the end of the tour, several of the European and American tourists gave extra tips to thank the tour guide. My English isn't great, but I could understand the gist of what she said, which didn't affect my experience. For parts that require more comprehension, a translation app with simultaneous interpretation is quite convenient. In one special situation, the tour guide even translated for me again. I highly recommend signing up! Especially for those who can't get up early and rush through the day, this half-day tour is perfect – it's not rushed at all!

Azumi's professional explanations and the lunch were excellent. I also really liked the sightseeing course. I would love to participate again next time.

Reviews: [IN Tokyo] Edo-style experience + god of fortune at Koami shrine + century-old taiyaki half-day stroll

What a fantastic experience! In the morning, we first visited the Edo-Tokyo Museum and then checked out the very popular Komiya Shrine in Tokyo, where we tried washing money coins for good luck 🙏. Following our tour guide's advice, we ate at a pretty good taiyaki restaurant; the food was delicious and highly recommended!
