Previously, you had to enter the information each time you installed the app, but recently it has become so much easier that you can just press the "Install" button and it's ready to use right away! I was running out of the data I'd originally prepared for my trip, so I quickly bought another 1GB on my last day. I installed it using Wi-Fi at a cafe, but it was stuck on activating and I couldn't do anything about it, so I contacted customer service. I didn't know what the problem was, but after some advice, I canceled the plan and purchased a new one, and it connected fine. I was very grateful for the prompt response to my inquiry. I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
