Was an excellent day trip to shirakawa-go. The heritage village is very pretty and nice to walk around. The bus there and back was also easy, but do head to bus station at least 20mins mins before as the bus can get pretty full, esp the bus back to Takayama.

Tickets are in high demand, so it's best to buy them as early as possible. The waiting area at the station was easy to find, and we completed our itinerary smoothly that day.

This pass is worthwhile even for just a day trip to Izu from Tokyo. Better value than the 1-day pass as this allows one to get on the bus from Ito station.
