I booked a half-day tour of the Tianjing Mangrove Forest, and the experience was fantastic! Our first stop was the Floating Mosque. From the bus, the blue dome and minaret stood out strikingly in the sunlight—solemn and photogenic; every shot was picturesque. Afterwards, we headed to the mangrove forest and saw gibbon monkeys up close for the first time. We fed them bananas, and the little guys were so lively and adorable; it was instantly heartwarming. Our driver, Xiao Qi, drove smoothly and attentively, while our guide, Steve, was enthusiastic and professional throughout, patiently explaining the local history, culture, and geography, making the otherwise mundane journey lively and interesting. The weather was quite hot that day, and finding the gibbon monkeys took some time. Although we only caught a glimpse from afar, it was still a fulfillment of our wish, leaving no regrets. We arrived at the beach in the evening. Our guide was a great photographer, capturing stunning sunset moments for everyone in our group. We were also lucky enough to catch a spectacular iron flower performance—dazzling and breathtaking! Finally, on the return trip, we searched for the romantic fireflies. The twinkling stars and the evening breeze created a truly enchanting atmosphere. The overall itinerary was well-planned, and the experience was rich and pleasant. I was very satisfied with the trip and would recommend it to everyone!

The booking took 2 minutes, QR codes were sent within 5 minutes, and there was no need to obtain a physical ticket, which is very convenient.

Octopus is great for transportation, it is also easiest for all payments. Therefore suggest topping up. HKD50 finishes fast. Hong Kong still cash and Octopus. Higher end places will accept Credit Card. Higher end only.

The Trip.com booking system only showed the pick-up point as China Hong Kong City (without an address), requiring me to arrive 20 minutes early. To avoid being late and missing the pick-up point, I went to check it out the night before, but after searching for a long time, I still couldn't find it. When I called the number listed on the Trip.com website, the person who answered said they were security guards and didn't know anything about the bus. So, the next day, I arrived very early and went to the address I found online, "33 Canton Road," because it was close to my hotel. Taxis refused to take my fare, so I had to drag my heavy luggage around for a long time before finally finding the check-in point on the first floor of China Hong Kong City. The actual pick-up point was on the basement level, and I needed to be led there by staff. Furthermore, the bus company information was also unclear, only stating "Zhuhai" without specifying which mode of transportation to Zhuhai. I hope Trip.com can provide clearer information about the check-in point to better serve out-of-town travelers.

The "MTR Tourist Day Pass" can be redeemed at the Airport Express counter after exiting Hong Kong Airport. Show the email notification to collect it, and it's activated at Tsing Yi Station. It's valid for 24 hours and is very convenient. However, seniors aged 65 and above can purchase senior citizen discount tickets at MTR service stations for a cheaper price.
