Easy to pickup, was a bit of a wait and some confusion among staff where the sim I ordered was. Signal quality is good, useful if you need a phone number to order food or booking some attractions.

If you are visiting China and do not already have a Chinese mobile phone number, then you must have a eSIM card to move around, because China is a massive digital land!

I tried Trip.com's service for the first time, having previously used popular options like MalTalk and USIM in China, Japan, and Vietnam. Whether it was due to Taiwan's telecommunications environment or not, the speed was very satisfactory, never fluctuating even once over 5G. MalTalk and USIM in China and Japan were a mess, so I was even more surprised by how cheap this product is. It is half the price of the equivalent product on Naver. The downside is that I purchased two, but it is not easy to check usage. The customer service AI chatbot responds with "check remaining time, data," but it seems to only display the first activated plan, so I cannot check the details. If they provide an explanation on how to easily check usage when purchasing two or more, I will definitely repurchase next time.

Easy set-up. The email comes with a link set up for IOS, no need to use the QR code. A lot smoother than some other providers. Good connection in Macau and Hong Kong.
