Everything went great. We bought tickets for 5:00 PM. We arrived at the port at 3:30 PM, managed to check in, go through border control, and board the 4:00 PM ferry. I usually avoid water transport because I get motion sickness, but everything went well here; I barely felt sick at all. We arrived in Hong Kong in exactly one hour. Border control in Hong Kong was also quick. Seats are assigned by a staff member on the spot.
