National Museum of Tajikistan ..was established on August 12, 1934, and is located in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. It was renamed to its current name on November 27, 1999. In March 2013, the new building held its opening ceremony. The new building features 22 exhibition halls of various sizes, with exhibits covering natural history, ancient history, medieval history, modern history, and fine arts. When it was established in 1934, the collection consisted of only 530 items; by the early 21st century, theNational Museum of Tajikistan ..collection had exceeded 50,000 items.

The ancient city of Gisar, located about 26 kilometers west of Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, is actually an ancient building complex. There are Gisar fortresses, fortress arches, brick camel caravan inns, old religious schools, new religious schools, Ancient ruins such as the Baptistery, the Main Square, the Mausoleum of Mahdumi Azam, most of these ancient buildings were built in the 8th-19th centuries AD, using stone and clay. The ancient city was already inhabited in the 3-4th century before the park, and it began to flourish in the Middle Ages. In the 20th century, with the decline of the Silk Road, the ancient city was no longer glorious, and now only the ruins are left.
