The connection was good at the border crossing from Tashkent to Khujand, but the signal was poor in the city of Khujand, and it sometimes took a long time to connect. I knew this from word of mouth, so it wasn't a problem. I couldn't get a connection at a nearby museum, so I couldn't read the explanatory texts.

The tour was great! From start to finish we know what to do expect and we were guided super well. Numan picked us up at the boarder and was super friendly all the time. He shared amazing insights and talked with us whenever needed. Especially his language skills made it quite easy to get valuable insights about the trip

Worked well in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and even Turkmenistan near the border. Except in mountain regions, but other esims didn't work then either.
