Hotels With Spa in Lao Cai Province, Vietnam

My trip was made complete and easier with the help of Bamboo Sapa. Special shoutout to KC for rendering assistance even before my family and I got here. Was rather worried bringing my elderly parents to Sapa as they are unable to walk far. From recommending tours, drivers and restaurants, we were offered beyond expectation. Hotel is in a great location, making it easy to walk around the town. Great view at the hotel, great amenities and I love the good water pressure.

Where to start? From the moment we hopped off the shuttle bus in front of the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and friendly staff. As you step into the hotel, your immediate response is to start taking photos. Everywhere you look had unique designs that were fused with the French influence and the traditional Vietnamese patterns and cultural wear. They welcomed us with a delicious rich hot chocolate as we checked in. The hotel is huge and there’s just so much to see and admire. The stunning view on the 10th floor is breathtaking on a clear day. Our twin share room was spacious, a balcony where you can stand and soak in the nature. Our beds were high and so comfy with the puffy pillows. Our room had everything thing you needed and more. Our bathroom was spacious, it had all the amenities. The smart designs and the little things in the room made a difference, such as tv side lamps where mannequins with traditional patterned lamp shades. The big necklaces to decorate the bed lamp shades. The fashion of French paintings on the wall. The color scheme was great. The breakfast is just FANTASTIC, you just don’t know where to start because everything looks and tastes great. The location is amazing and so close to everything. The staff are really helpful and booked half day tours to see local villages. Also, it’s best to get your tickets to Fansipan from this hotel because the process is much much easier. We didn’t have physical tickets but used facial recognition which made us move through the lines a lot quicker. Another reason why you should stay at this hotel is that they can help you reserve tickets and they will update you on the weather before you decide to purchase the tickets (sometimes the weather can be so unpredictable). This hotel is just AMAZING!!

The size of room is big. There are 2 swimming pool where 1 is at rooftop (not heated) but nice view and other at level 1 which is heated. There is also small gym. There are no water cooler at sight. The selection of breakfast is good. They gave us surprise for our honeymoon trip as shown. Location is generally near the church.

It is unfortuate we are having to write a negative review because we were really looking forward to our stay. Our room was beautiful and the check in process was smooth and staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was a really good selection. However we booked this stay due to the spa facilities and we were extremely let down. On the first day we arrived late afternoon and went straight to the spa for a massage which was lovely and staff attentive. However the spa itself was unclean, there was a strong sewage smell and the changing room were dirty with wet towels everywhere, overflowing showers and general rubbish around. On the second day we headed up to use the gym and spa however the heated pool was broken, the sauna doors had been left open so no heat, the herbal pools had to amenities or plugs to fill the baths with. There was a queue of day guests getting refunds so we asked the manager if it was possible we could be compensated as we booked based on the spa facilities and both days hadn't been the best experiences. She told us no as we were not paying customers to the spa (even though we paid to stay two nights), she told us if she refunded us she would have to take wages from the staff or give up her wage. She said the spa was free so there was nothing to refund. We asked for a complaints email but she told us no as she feared for her job. She instead sent a fruit platter of three oranges and two apples to our room. This was unfortunate as the main reason we stayed here was for the spa use.

Very conveniently located at the town square. Across the road is Sunworld plaza, access for cable car to fansipan peak . Plenty of restaurant within 5min walk. However, do request for room away from main road which can be v noisy with music blasting & kids dancing around soliciting money at the town square. Overall , the hotel is v convenient & the room is big but the toilet is pretty small

Very nice room and amenities, good serivces, easily walk down to the square. Mamy local shops amd restaurants nearby.

Enjoys my stay at Pao Sapa. Great room with a gorgeous valley view. Quiet surroundings and short uphill walk to the shopping streets and sapa station. Staff was helpful with luggage storage due early arrival from sleeper bus trip from hanoi.

Not only did they suggest some great local tours and restaurants, but they also took care to highlight the more sustainable options available, which I truly appreciated. Their genuine enthusiasm for both their community and the environment shone through in every interaction. I also have to mention the housekeeping team, who made sure my room was always immaculate. The attention to detail was incredible – the linens were fresh, the amenities were top-notch, and it was clear that the staff took great pride in their work. Dining Experience Another highlight of my stay was the dining experience at Eco Palms Hotel. The restaurant on-site offers a variety of delicious, locally-sourced dishes, many of which are organic and made with ingredients from nearby farms. The staff in the restaurant was equally attentive, and the food was simply divine. I particularly enjoyed the fresh, seasonal salads and the sustainably caught fish, both of which were prepared to perfection. The restaurant itself had a cozy yet sophisticated vibe, which made dining a real pleasure. Sustainable Practices As someone who values sustainability, I was impressed by the hotel’s commitment to eco-friendly practices. We had a great time in Alaina Hotel & Spa. The staffs are very accommodating, polite and friendly. The hospitality is truly amazing. Great location and view of the mountain and monorail from our balcony. We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to our friends and relatives. One of the best hotel in SaPa.

The resort is designed for private retreat. Great service. Just right outside and not too far from the city. I really feel at peace staying there. Love the view of Fansipan right from my bed. The bathrobe is very fluffy and comfortable, please have them for sale next time I’m staying. Everything in the room function well except the bath tub that flood the whole bathroom area when drains. It dried out pretty quick tho. The room is mostly quiet and tranquil, away from all traffic noises, however, mind the sound proof in room as karaoke is the culture!!!
